sweet, this is awesome
thanks for the link!
Rocking CyanogenMod theme!
Nice find. Thanks!
And thanks for the screenshot.
Guys. I just got an incredible and was looking for a black swype and came across this thread but the link is dead to download it. PLEASE send me the link or the file by this or PM. I can't find black swype anywhere with box letters instead of 3D lookin ones. Thanks!
Swype, a coupe months back sent out a cease and desist on distribution of modded and unmodded swypes. Go to swype and sign up for android beta, and download. The new acceptable law is Metamorph themes. This requires s-off however. These themes are all over xda, let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it. Only question I have is how to download the beta since its not on the website. I'd love to try it out. Thanks in advance.
I've been registered for the beta for a couple months now, still no ability to download Swype. Kinda pissin' me off. lol

curious to see if this is as fast as Swype is...not likely, but worth a try
EDIT:
Just installed, it seems really cool..I'll have to unlearn Swype for a day or two to really know, but the word prediction feature is stunningly accurate!!
I can't remember; is SwiftKey a tap-to-type or a Swype-like keyboard? I got that email too, but I've never used it.

its tap to type, but it predicts the word you are going to type, so you never have to type an entire word...very cool predictive tech..
I really miss the red rocks wallpaper from my former mytouch4g. Can anyone point the way of how I can extract it from a rom or link me a valid link to the full wallpaper? I looked around redrocks.apk. and tried other places but I can't find the wallpaper and the links I've seen online have all expired

Answer
I can't post external links yet, but search using Google for "RedRocks_homescreen" and the first two results will have it.
It's a good one, enjoy!
Geezus, are you just too damn lazy to Google search red rock wallpaper?
Thanks for the rancor in your reply... sheesh. I did look with Google and I specifically said that the ones it did pull up had expired links to the file. I didn't try it with the underscore so thank you to the other poster. I will try that. To the other guy, no need to act like a tool and be so rude.

Just wanted to let you know this worked perfectly on the Mesmerize.
Confirmed. Just follow the numbered steps on the OP and you should be fine.

This worked great, thanks. I still prefer the feel of the Gingerbread keyboard and the prediction of SwiftKey... I haven't been able to find a keyboard that I really like.

Posting of Swype apk files is not allowed, so I'm closing the thread.
You can sign up for the Swype beta at http://beta.swype.com/
Just saw on Android Central and thought it might be worth sharing that Swiftkey is opening up VIP access for the day which will allow downloading of their Swiftkey 2 Beta keyboard. Just go to the link below and click on register, use the promo code #swiftkeyFRIDAY

What is new from Beta 1?
I actually prefer the stock HTC keyboard to any other one out there.
Thanks, will do.
It doesn't seem to have predictive capabilities when used in the HTC email application, which is a shame because the predictive capabilities of SwiftKey are awesome.
The backspace-delete key is buggy when used in quickoffice. Hope they fix these bugs 'cause I love this keyboard.
The previous version did not allow you to see what you were typing when used in landscape HTC email on the ThunderBolt. That has now been fixed.
Thanks, Robertus.
Thank you! This looks like something I'll definitely have to try out.
I love Swiftkey. I've been using it since their first Beta last year. I'll have to give this a go, thanks!
SwiftKey is the best keyboard i've used.

Its asking me for a invite code, I used the promo code and did not work
The invite code was only valid for Friday 5/20
Awesome got it!
SOB...this is what I get for not checking XDA 1 day!
Edit: XDA pulls through again and someone has uploaded the APK. See the original post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088651
The coupon is no longer working. Can someone please provide with a 8 letter code?
This is a EDT themed gingerbread keyboard. Annex1 and I put this together a while back and I thought I would share with you guys. Just download and install like a normal apk.

Nice. Any thoughts on theming Swype for future... oh wait, can't do that (can we?)
Either way, it seems to support the minimalism in a certain ROM I be developing. Very interesting... I'mma gonna pull out my keyboard APK, yours, decompile both, and look at differences in files?

There is 2 or 3 themed Swypes for the revolution. It is possible just a P.I.T.A.

Does swype even work? I tried pushing the apk and lib but it just force closed on me. I have a whole bunch of theme swype boards from my vibrant days.

Didn't the Triumph come with Swype preinstalled? There are two off-brand Swype versions I have, can pm you the links if you want
I tried to add a MyTouch look to the latest version of Swype but failed... Again, I don't know how allowed it is to talk about versions of Swype not already installed on the users' phone, for reasons probably only Swype knows.

Nope. Touch pal, and the stock android keyboard is all we get. Swype doesn't work. I tried many versions. Thanks for the offer, but I only use the gingerbread keyboard.
