Flash Tmobile GSM TP2 into Sprint - Touch Pro2 CDMA

is it possible to flash a gms tmobile branded touch pro 2 to be used for Sprint

no,
Tmobile is GSM
Sprint is CDMA
Tmo tp2s do not have the hardware to recieve the cdma waves.

plus, sprint will never allow the esn on their network.

[Q] Help please

According to this (http://www.phonemag.com/htc-touch-diamond-and-touch-pro-release-dates-pricing-084482.php), the HTC Pro will probably be coming to Sprint before AT&T releases the Fuze. So, if I bought the Sprint version of the phone without a contract will it work with AT&T?? Im on AT&T right now and im not changing carriers just to have this phone earlier than the Fuze.
Thanks...
No, it will not. Sprint uses CDMA technology while ATT uses GSM technology.

Can Touch pro 2 asia can be made into CDMA mode??

We apologize if my question seems funny or crazy.
Can HTC TP2 (except sprint. Verizon, t-mobile) can be made into CDMA mode like TP2 Sprint/verizon

Clarify your question man, you have a TP2 from somewhere in Asia, and you want to try to use it where? is is CDMA/GSM or what?

i have TP2 from singapore, and i want to try with CDMA mode? (like TP2 Sprint)
Even if the Singapore TP2 is CDMA, good luck trying to get Sprint to activate it!

No. The hardware is not there. You cannot get a GSM/WCDMA only TP2 running on a classic CDMA network.

Bad Esn?

If I purchase a phone on Ebay with a bad ESN and it's unlocked, can it be used with GSM carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Rodgers, etc?
BUMP......

ESN is usually used for CDMA devices, so the carriers that you mentioned probably won't be able to use it (since they are GSM).
As for the issue with the bad ESN, you can try to get in touch with a CDMA carrier (ie Sprint if you are in the US) and try to activate it, but chances are that you will not succeed.

Sidekick CDMA?

Hello everyone,
I just picked up a sidekick 4g I would like to use this phone on Verizon's 4g CDMA network, what would it take to switch this phone to accept CDMA?

Unless I'm misinformed, this is not possible at all. Sidekick 4G is a GSM phone, which will only allow it to work on other GSM carriers. Unfortunately, Verizon is not one of them. Sorry.

You're correct. The best carrier to use the Sidekick on in the US is T-Mobile.
I got a SIM unlock code from T-Mobile, and now I can use it on any GSM network worldwide. There are also other ways of unlocking it. But it definitely does not work on CDMA. Phonearena.com is your friend: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/T-Mobile-Sidekick-4G_id5158. Always check the specs before you buy a phone to make sure it will work with your carrier. Even if a phone will work on CDMA, that doesn't mean it will work on Verizon. For example, the Nexus 5 has CDMA but will work only on Sprint-based networks (in addition to GSM), not Verizon.
no its just GSM..

Sprint a9 on T-Mobile

Do any of you guys know if I unlock my sprint htc one a9, will it work on T-Mobile?
If so where can I get an unlock code?
I don't think so, sprint uses CDMA while T-Mobile uses GSM, so I don't think the sprint variant has the capability to connect to a GSM network
Yes it will work - with lte ,but you have to unlock - either call sprint to unlock or use something like xtc2clip or gcdpro

According to PCMAG, it supports GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), UMTS (850/AWS(1700)/1900/2100MHz), CDMA (0/1/10), and LTE (2/4/5/12/25/26/41) bands

Oh, well in that case then it should work, as long as it has GSM capabilities
