[MORPH]Nicer Battery Icons for ALL ROMS

I played a little with Paint and Gimp and did my Battery Icons new.
I found them good and think I could share it to you.
They are Metamorph.
Copy the Zip file to your AndroidThemes Folder, apply it via Metamorph and enjoy.
I think, I would update my glasStatusbar with it. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=638659)
Blue makes happy.... isn't it?

That was fast . You win for being the fastest typer. Not sure of the value, but wanted to see what it might take to do. Any interest out there for this? It does give more room for other "stuff" if nothing else.

It's an edit to a framework .jar file, and my .jar file has additional edits for the white taskbar/notification menu, so it's difficult to distribute.
I could probably do 2 versions. One if your notifications drop down menu is stock, another if it is AOSP style, and thus has some font/button tweaks, like mine.

It doesn't have to be a MetaMorph for this change, as we are not updating a handful of files in an apk/jar file. In this instance, we are replacing the whole thing.
That is one of the challenges in distributing.

Indeed. Couldn't leave it with all the extra space. Aesthetically, it was killing me. Figured there had to be a better way .

The Icons are transparent, and they dont have the white box background:

I'd like to thank everybody over at MobileUnderground.info.
I found various icons around the web and customized them myself.
I'm not very good at making cabs so you have to use an icon changer like, HComber and what not.
Installation: UnRAR the file and extract the icons to a folder on your SD card.
I also included my background templates in .xcf(GIMP format, maybe Photoshop too, idk) just in case you want to add your own icons.
Feel free to request some icons too!
If you want to use my icons in your ROM, please PM first.

Hi jake i jus got my htc hd2 so i.m still in the figuring out process. i unrar the files and the icons are there on my phone but how do i actually change the icons, from the original over to yours?

[REQ]Droid X Launcer Icons

I Think I'm Close. but..
I was wondering if anyone had the icons so i can use them with launcherpro seeing you can change the icons to any picture you have. if anyone has them or could get them i'd greatly appreciate it. i'd do it myself but im not great with photoshop or editing pics for that matter.

Since you know where to find these icons, can you lead me in the right direction to find the stock android icons? I've been looking all over for a high resolution version of them (aka the Nexus One icons), and have had no luck.

It's launcher pro. The 2nd and 4th icons are set to nothing, and then launcher pro lets to pick custom icons for the bottom dock. It also lets you turn off the home button at the bottom of the app drawer, like in the Droid X.

Since these end up more spread out than the real icons, could we do a dock background with the icons in the correct places, then just use blank icons, like they do for the sense looking launcher pro docks?

It's protips. It's included in a lot of the 2.2 distros, but HTC doesn't include it. One option would be to grab some sort of AOSP rom and get protips.apk from /system/app. I dunno if you can just install a protips apk, or if it needs to be pushed to /system/app on your phone.
CM6 includes their custom version called "brotips." The android is cyan and the 6 original sayings are there along with 6 more specific to CM. Bugless Pete has done one too, I don't remember where I found it, maybe his twitter.
Also try just googling protips.apk.

[ICONS] HoneyBlues - Modified Honeycomb Icons

Im on a honeycomb kick right now, thanks to the omegasun's new Honeycomb Dreams theme that i slapped on top of Mikfroyo. Im a bit of a icon nut and was not happy with some of the honeycomb icons in their original colors, so i photochopped these real quick. These are all the basics, but ill take some requests if ya have something you would like. All icons have a purple/blueish hue. I have a lighter blue pack if anyone is interested. Feel free to use with any roms/themes etc. I'd be flattered.

Yes please do, after all your theme was my inspiration. feel free to use them in your theme if you'd like as well.
I actually think im going to redo the hole set and go for a more matte light blue like the notification icons in your theme. then they would look great on the matted blues theme as well.
ill work on it tonight if i have time
i already started ripping icons from some of the more popular apps so i can theme those as well. but again i dont have a ton of time for this stuff.

Nope. You add them to your home screen with better cut, desktop visualizer, or similar apps.
That way you can, for example, use handcent or go sms with a stock Android icon.
Hope this makes sense.
