looking for android app that sync notes between 2 android phones - Android Apps and Games

We currently use 2 iphone 3gs's and use an app called Notespark. We use this app as our notes app. It allows us to maintain 1 grocery list, or to rent, restaurants to try... When I add Milk to the grocery list, the next time my partner opens his Notespark app, it syncs and Milk gets added to his Grocery list.
Is there anything like this for Android? I find it is an app I can't live without. I have searched the android market but can't seem to find anything. Any suggestions?

Check out 3banana. Log in and sync to the web; if you use the same account on multiple phones they should all stay in sync. As for maintaining different lists...you can label notes with "#groceries" for example to distinguish different notes.
If you find something better let me know!

Thanks a bunch.

Wow. Looks like AK Notepad (same dev) just added syncing as a feature, too. AK Notepad is better for multiple lists with notepad style notes.

I know this thread is probably dead already but which app did you end up with?

teste google keep

i really like and use google keep, very easy to use and syncs all devices instatly

google keep is your best bet, also springpad and evernote but those are too bloated for simple note taking apps

cloudlist by quarterstaf
Hi,
i tried alot like Evernote (too massive for me and not free), Astrid (which is down now), Keep (just with the same account), List2Share (hmm bit ugly), Owncloud (Tasker app ist still in beta) and now using:
cloudList - grocery/to-do list
Sync with multiple accounts + free + just basic features

Offline RSS/Podcast Reader

Hello all!
I have been lucky enough to finally get my Nexus One. Although my purchasing process was riddled with issues and lacked any support. I got the phone and it seems to be free of defects, and I am loving it even more than I thought I would.
I am moving from a Windows Mobile phone (FINALLY), and I had an app called Newsbreak which I used all the time. It would basically download all my feeds for offline viewing/listening including audio/video podcasts, and use the SD card for storage.
I have been looking for an equivalent on android and I appear to be left wanting. Most RSS reader appear to be online only, don't seem to support downloading podcasts, or requires Google Reader (sorry not wanting to give my Google Account password).
Does anyone know of a good offline RSS reader?
I have tried Newsrob (needs Google Reader), Listen (no offline?) and I am currently reviewing BlueRSS. I like BlueRSS, but I see no option to store on the SD card nor how to download the podcast or website for offline viewing. Since BlueRSS says it does this, I am not sure if I am missing something or it is just not able to do what I require.
If I need to I will design my own, but this is the only thing keeping me from using the N1 full time.
Thanks!
Check out Doggcatcher (no idea why they chose that name). Here's the feature list:

BeyondPod is a good solution as well. I use it for audio/video.
You can't beat Newsrob for RSS integration with GReader though. You can just create a new google account and export all your feeds and than use that exclusively for Newsrob.

DoggCatcher looks like ti will work and I will check out BeyondPod. I did not find these before since they appear to be paid apps, and I just moved my SIM over so it was hiding them from me before.
Wish there was a free one though. Maybe that will be my first Andriod project.
I really don't like Google Reader. Its convenient, but giving my login information to an app is just not safe. If there was a Google one I might try it, but they seems to want to force people to be online. Why use bandwidth so irresponsibly? Just don't make sense.
Thanks all!

I just discovered this app today, and I'm glad I did. It seems to be the only one that quickly and easily syncs with my Google calendar.
One question: if I install the app on two different devices that are linked to the same Google account, and set both apps to sync with my calendar, would I get double entries on my calendar if I have the same show list on both devices?
Suggestions/errors
It would be nice to be able to mark what episodes I have already watched.
The month is wrong. On the details screen for a show it shows 15/0/2012 instead of 15/1/2012.
The dates should be shown in the local date format.
Would be nice on the calendar page to be able to go back in time, to see which shows were missed.
Onthe "On Air" page, the text doesn't always show completely when there are more than 2 lines. However, it's not consistent. Some shows with 2 or 3 lines fully readable, whereas some only have 1 1/2 line??
An option to only search either US or UK shows?
In the filter option, it should be possible to filter based on words within a title. That way you won't have to remember if there is a "The" as the first word.
It's a good start, and it looks nice.

Soon recieving HTC Titan - What now?

I'm getting my HTC Titan on the 25th and I wonder what I need to do right away I get it. What apps are "most have" and so on? I'm familiar with jailbreaking/rooting and so on so you guys know where I come from.
if i could do it all over again, i would export my contacts from google to live, as well as the calendar. that would eliminate a lot of clean up that i had to do (not saying everyone will have some conflicts, i had a lot of custom fields on a lot of my contacts, so numbers and addresses got duplicated).
other than that, just sign in when you get the phone. it's simple.
some good apps to get:
facebook (2.3 easily made the wp7 facebook the best on any mobile platform)
octrotalk (if you use google talk for chat/video calling
7pass (if you use keepass)
appflow (make finding good apps in the marketplace easier)
battlelog companion (if you play BF3)
flixster (if you like movies)
thumba photo editor
tvshow 2.0 or primetv (if you follow any tv series)
twitter (if you do that sort of thing)
vimeo
weather master
weave
wpcentral
xbmc remote by ashterisk (if you use xbmc)
youtube pro
shuffle party
z0mb1es (on teh ph0ne)
BBB: app-ocalypse
xbox live extras
then pick up a good navigation app (i use navigon, but these can get pricey)
and those are the apps i use
What app do you recommend for calendar, or is the stock one already good? I'm using WeekCal on my iPhone which can see the full week in a very nice way.

The built in agenda view works really well. And day view. Doesn' t have week but i have so many appointments with week view it would be worthless.
i just use the native calendar app, works great and includes tasking. it's not as "pretty" as weekcal, but it works great and is easy to use and view.

[Q] Note 10.1 Tomorrow. App suggestions?

It's arriving tomorrow and coming from iOS, I'm excited to jump into the Android world.
What are some must have apps I should download when I'm all set up?

Welcome to Android, but be more specific of what apps do you want?

Depending on your needs the answers will vary like the previous poster stated...
IMHO, the most useful apps (for me) are:
- Flash (Get latest from adobe archives, because they have stopped developing for Android)
- A Tor based browser to circumvent any national blocks. (There is a combined package)
- Google Drive, so you can edit/share spreadsheets etc without filling your SD card.
I'm sure there will be many more things you will get interested in...

Well that's all for now, 3M

SwiFTP it enables an Android phone or tablet to easily share files with computers or other devices over a wifi network. These computers only need to have an FTP client, which all computers do. You can walk around with your MP3/video/ebook/whatever collection and share it seamlessly with almost any wifi-enabled system.

Best chat app?

Hi,
I have a website and quite a few members have suggested that adding a chat room would be a great idea.
I'm searching for something I might be able to integrate well into my site.
Has anyone tried RumbleTalk or C-box?
I made a lot of research in
finding a chatroom for my website. I used envolve for a
while till they closed up, pitty. I tried IRC but I truly did not like
the look and feel and the “mess” of text in there.
I had several points which are important to me.
1
– First I needed a chat that can be seen in mobile (all versions) so I
narrowed down the search for html5 chat room that look good on both
mobile and pc.
2 – I needed a custom design, I needed my background to be black or transparent. This was very hard to find (my site is dark).
3 – I do not like to install the chat in my server as this is high cpu and resource consumer. So I need a chat service.
4 – Lastly, I needed the ability to add youtube videos and upload files.
I have checked several chats and only 2 met my needs, RumbleTalk and Cbox.
I choose RumbleTalk finally as it can be integrated into my page and not only as toolbar.
PHPBB Social Network, search on Internet Bro. xD
in Indonesia we mostly used BBM..
but i think whatsapp ist better
Well I was looking for a html chat. I did quite deep research on it in the last year. Tried over 20 of them and I can tell you, the best one is Rumbletalk. Thats for sure!
Rumbletalk is number one!
It is. It also has a free trial available now.

The thing is that with Rumbletalk you can manage just about anything. Backround, text style, wight and height of the chat room, etc etc,.. That is why so many people love it. You can also use it as a floating chat or as a window chat.
