Hi.
I'm looking for Sony's reader app but is not able to find it on the market since it's not available over here. Could someone please post the apk or otherwise send it to me? It's a free app so it wouldn't break too many rules, would it?
Thanks.
I've got it now but boy it sucked.
Hello forum.
long since I've been looking for some way to install the mediascape in my xperia x8, but can not find the way how to get to have that application.
I know for many this app is crap, but I like it.
if any of you as the creators knew of any way to get it tell me or ask a favor, could make it work on a x8?
for your attention and your time, thanks
Supernova is an additional add-on not available apparently for android devices yet. I have gone ahead and emailed Fishlabs
- Apparently you have to go through their own email system now as I got an auto generated reply informing me to go here:
http://support.fishlabs.net/
to send them an email.
I asked if they would please continue to support our device as I have thoroughly enjoyed this game. I would like to encourage all xperia PLAY users to just take 30 seconds to email fishlabs at the above address and ask them to please continue supporting our phone with the future release of Galaxy on Fire 2 - Supernova.
Your welcome to just copy and paste what I sent to them but if I were a fishlabs rep reading the same email over and over from different addresses I would think it was either spam or not a sincere email. As I said your welcome to use my email but I feel it would make a more powerful message if everyone just asked that they continue supporting this device.
My email:
"Hello,
I would like to know if there are any plans to support the Xperia PLAY for the GOF add-on SuperNova? I am a big fan of the series and have greatly enjoyed it on my Xperia PLAY and would love to see it released to this phone and to all android devices. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
<Your Name>
Edit - For those curious here is the official trailer for Supernova
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwMLqy2a-m0
Edit 2 - Posted a short blurp on the Youtube video again asking Fishlabs to support our device, there was already a reply below mine with the same request.
emailed !
edit : i also created a new ticket with the request , it's seems that's their new request method
sorry

Ah...bummer. can't say I'm surprised but it would be cool if we got it. I have not received a reply yet. Not doubting you but still hopeful we may be able to have them reconsider. Even if its a paid game I would jump on it.

great news , they responded to my mail , expect a all-android version very soon
the downside is that it'll probably only be available for 4.0.+

*holds up Nook HD+ * I'll be ready lol...just have to find the non XP version of GoF.
Got another reply from FishLabs regarding the Xperia PLAY:
"Hello Jesse,
my name's Tobi and I'm a Senior Social Media Manager at Fishlabs. I'm filling in for Sven today and I'm happy to help you out and answer your question.
Right now, it is not planned to support the special controls of the Xperia PLAY right from the start. However, depending on how successful the app performs on Google PLAY, there's of course still a chance that we'll add such an optimization later on. So fingers crossed...
If you've got any more questions, feel free to ask 'em right away.
All the best,
Tobi
We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please do not send another email. Instead, reply to this email or login to your account for a complete archive of all your support request and responses.

***** So everyone pay for the IAP and or make lots and lots of downloads of this game so that FishLabs can see all the download for the Xperia PLAY and support it.
I wrote back sayin this:
"Hello Sven, I replied to your email about requesting that Xperia PLAY gaming controls be supported. I have made a thread over on XDA specifically for this game in hopes that it will bring awareness and will also hopefully encourage FishLabs to add support for our phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41450496#post41450496
Myself and many others would be thrilled if it supports the Xperia PLAY. Despite the age of this phone I actually just bought another one to use as my daily phone as I really enjoy gaming on this phone and Galaxy on Fire 2 is one of my favorites. I would like to kindly request that it be considered, myself and many others will be crossing our fingers an hoping that our wish comes true. Thank you Sven for your time and your replies. I will remain optimistic of the Xperia PLAY seeing support.
Kind regards,
Jesse
One more response to my email:
"Our customer support team personnel has replied to your support request #806812

thank you very much for all your support and encouragement.
I noticed that Tobi has already responded to provide you with a detailed answer. My fingers are crossed for a Xperia Play support.

So it looks like Sven is now going to push for Xperia PLAY support.
Well, as much as I like their game, they have been an asshat to me eversince. As expected, they haven't replied to my e-mail. It's been a week.
Heck....while we are at it asking for xp support....I'll ask for ANDROID support too lol......based on their site all their games are apple or blackberry......apparantly they are fruit lovers
sent from my rooted nook hd+
I received another reply and although it is virtually the same as my last posted reply, it does give a tid bit more information:
"We're already working on an "All Android" version of GOF2 HD incl. both add-ons, Valkyrie and Supernova. It'll support about 200+ different devices and will hopefully be out later on this year. As soon as there are any more concrete news, we'll surely keep you posted."
Crossing fingers.
Supernova is out as an in app add-on. Updated the game on my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it showed Supernova, on our device under add-ons supernova is not listed.
Wondering if we should start another email campaign to request the PLAY gets the supernova add-on as well..

Did a search for Xperia PLAY on the forums at Fishlabs and here were some results:
Our device is specifically listed as still being supported until the Supernova All Android version is released:

Another link for the new updated GOF 2 Supernova:

Just attempted to install the apk from my tablet onto the PLAY, it gives me a parser error.
This is HD version my friend, it requires Android 3.0 or higher, even if XP can make it, that would be too laggy. maybe we should wait for SD version's coming

yeah, I figured the same.... time will tell. Currently only the All devices HD version is out, perhaps it will change when the SD all android devices is released.

Hi, really nice to have you here. Grab your seat belt. because we're going for a ride! I am here to teach you something that will change your life! Aren't you excited? Let's begin!
So today we will be talking about a company called ''Google''. It was founded by two Stanford students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Had they ever imagined the consequence their invention would have? The easy overview and good search results made it the best Search Engine out there. Soon AltaVista was forgotten, and Google was the ****. This day, Google is a multibillion dollar company, and they put a lot of money in developing new stuff. But still, everybody knows Google of their search engine.
Have you ever heard of this magical company and their search engine? Well, at least now you have!
I send you on a mysterious quest to explore the depths of Google. It all starts with typing in ''google.com'' in your browser. Then you type the desired search request(in this situation ''xperia z1 walkman/album/movies''. And you hit that blue button called ''search''.
Magical, isn't it? In a nice list the results will be shown.
This lesson is finished. Homework: search 10 things on Google, and write down what you found. Thank you.
Oh, and you wanted to delete some system apps? Luckily all people are blessed with something called a ''brain''. This organ offers us the ability to think(still hard for some people). Use it to logically think of what apps can be deleted without any consequence.
Did I help you?
Remember to click the ''thanks'' button for this amazing advice and life lesson!

Well, I thought asking here is the best option, I searched the Forums in the Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Themes and Apps , Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Android Development and Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E General but I can't find anything. However if I search in Google, well I don't trust Google now because of the recent PRISM Data Mining program of the US NSA, Google might redirect me to some site that doesn't even what I am looking for.
Guess WHAT! Buy A BETTER DEVICE to get those APPS because our devices are slow and cant handle Z2 apps
Hello, just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I recently got an Xperia Play R800i and have used the PSXperia exploit to load the built in PSX emulator with some ISOs. However, the option on the phone under 'Controller Settings' for 'Analog Mode' is greyed out and I haven't been able to get them to work at all, so games like 'Ape Escape' are unplayable. I've looked on this site and elsewhere but haven't been able to find any way of testing if this is a hardware issue with the touchpad or something with the software. Have tried using another emulator ePSXe with support for the Xperia Play touchpads but nothing either. Any advice or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated
