Has anyone else experienced a stutter in music when playing music with Nitrogen and then turning the screen off? It plays fine normally with the screen on but when ever switching it off it tends to skip frequently.

Hi thanks for the reply, however that is not the problem. When using that "screen switch off button", the music does indeed not stop but it tends to skip and jump, almost as if I was running loads of applications and it was struggling to find the resources to play properly. I don't have anything else running and so this isn't the case. Im thinking it may perhaps be an issue with the custom rom Im using as the manila tab music player doesnt work properly either, guess I should try flash a different rom and see!
I too have this problem - I have the custom O2 ROM. It got so annoying that I reverted to using the Windows music player, which does not share the issue.

its a strange one isn't it. On my Touch Pro 2, scrolling through the list of songs used to be jittery like it wasn't fast enough to handle it, on the HD2, scrolling is fine but suffers the music playback problem, strange!

I'm not sure if this is a ROM level issue or a device based issue.
When listening to music, Sirius, Amazon Cloud Player, Pandora, and the screen is off. If you go to turn on the screen and try to unlock, the music skips during the unlock. This has happened with Infused v2B2 and CM7.
It's not completely bothersome, but I know when I had my N1, I never had this issue.

Did anyone get this lockscreen issue resolved yet? I was trying to search for the solution to this problem to no avail. It seems that it has gotten a bit worse than it originally was. It didnt bother me that much in the beginning but now it seems that the lock screen has to be dragged multiple times to get it to register my touch. ofcourse if i am playing music while trying to unlock the screen, it will stutter severely.
I am running Infused 2.1.0 with the latest Infusion GB kernel
Whenever I unlock my phone, the screen shows the lock screen for about 0,1 seconds and then shows glimpse of what was on the screen before I locked the phone before displaying the lock screen again. Incredibly annoying. I can't recall if I had this problem before I upgraded to Mango. Help!
i have similliar issue on my omnia 7:
so, i figured out, when that locksreen lag is happening. if you have mini player shown, when you press volume buttons, that means there will be no lockscreen lag, and everything will be like it should.
but, if you go and play a video, and then go back to homescreen, there will be no mini player shown, when you press the volume button, and if you then turn off the screen, and then on again, the clock and calendar will display with some lag (about half a second). this will continue to happen until the next time you run audio player. then, if there is mini player in the dropdown volume menu, there will be no more lag in the lockscreen.
please, try this and see if this will happen to you too. i know it's a small bug, but it's really annoying!

The mini player seems to make no difference at all. The problem doesn't go away.

i had this problem with later builds of mango, and now this solution seems to have fixed it..but it is still kind of annoying knowing that i have to have the miniplayer active to get rid of it..did they not see this when they were readying the final build? this really is kind of inexcusable in my opinion. they were saying how there are hundreds of new features, and yet theres something small like this that managed to get through? i dont recall ever having this problem on NoDo.
I have the same problem on my HTC HD7 (unlocked) with Mango forced.
Nothing works. There's no difference in having an active Zune-Player or not.
ive been noticing that after i watch a video, my phone starts to stutter and lag ALOT!, i mean i cant even scroll up and down a page without the screen clicking on something. like i just watched a vid i took from my camera and when i go back to my homescreen and try to operate something is SOOOOOO laggy and stuttery. i would have to unlock and relock the screen for it to not be laggy. youtube works fine its just other video sorces. BTW im running cyanogenmod 7.2, faux123 v50 kernel and a intalled LG cam for cyanogenmod 7.

Only time that happens is if your soft key button brightness is set to off... What video player do you use to watch videos?

Sounds like the same experience that I have. I am running HFS 1.9 I think it uses the same faux kernel. I have found that when this happens, if I put it in sleep mode by tapping the power button and then wake it, that I am then able to resume normal operation.

Yea thats exactly what wrong. I believe its the kernel.
Hey guys so I have a Infuse 4g running Aeon Rom v1.4 and I have to say I love how fluid it is. My only problem is that my phone will randomly lock up become unresponsive and the screen will shut off and the phone will turn off and not turn on for about ten seconds. It usually happens when im using the music player app and using the internet while doing so. Sometimes it will lockup while opening an app. It will hang there at the black screen until the app loads up which sometimes takes longer than it usually does. Sometimes it will go really slow and move choppy instead of fluid like it usually does. Anyone know how I can fix this? Also sometimes when im listening to music and opening a browser window it will stay at a grey screen for a few moments before opening the page. My phone is rooted and I unlocked it with the SGS unlocker tool PRO version. Thanks in advance for any advice I might receive about these problems.

Two things that that reminds me of: Overclocking and or undervolting. Have you done either of those? The browser window thing could just the CPU showing its age. It is a single core processor, so it does have to switch back and forth between tasks. Do you have the issue with the browser when not listening to music?

i don't know if is a bug or not,but when i play music (whit google play music or stock music player) and i try to change song in lockscreen,i need to tap few time before phone change song,it seem you have like 20x20 pixel area where next button work like you use a bad Resistive touchscreen . Different play button,much bigger and you can tap even on edge and work fine. You can seen in video.

Thanks for the reply,i don't know,i buy the phone this month and the first thing i made after turn on and insert my google account was update the sw.
I can say i touch the screen normally (only in lookscreen i have this problem)

It could be an issue for the protector too.
I have one and sometimes the touch doesn't respond.
Never had this problem.
