What I would love is an app (Android or even just Windows) that logs the latitude location of your friends over time so you can see where they have been. There is an app called Place Recall on the market that does this for my own phone but one that does it through latitude would be great for checking my kids are behaving themselves especially when grounded!
Might be a bit stalker-ish I suppose but if the info is shared on latitude, it's not doing anything dodgy.

With Google Maps for PPC we're able to track our current location. But is there a way to have it constantly refresh the tracking so we can see ourselves moving? I've googled to no success.
Microsoft Live for Mobile, which is also free, and better than Google Maps, supports this.

There are lots. Be more specific if you want more specific apps.
If your a google man, then there's a perfect companion to Google maps. It's called My Tracks and made by Google (Yes, I expected it to be called Google Tracks too )
Careful on battery life though.

Instamapper - very plain but works and doesn't kill the battery.

Hi guys,
Last night my friends car broke down and he needed a ride from me. All was good until the directions he was giving me took me totally to the wrong location. He eventually got the address but he didn't know if it was north or south...so google maps didn't help me it took me the other way. Eventually I found him without the help of google. But my question is there an app that can get your location and text it so that the other person can use that in google maps to find you? I guess something like family locator but not for your family.
Thanks.
You can do this with Google maps. Push and hold to get your location, select it and you'll have the option to send your location. I had my fiance do this last week and navigation got me right to her location.

Hey, that's a good idea!
OP, Wolfram Alpha has a few apps out which are really helpful for math courses.
I find that Dato's GTasks is a nice and simple to-do list that syncs with google tasks quite well. It has multiple list support so you can sort out your different classes/etc.
I use "My Class Schedule" (market.android.com/details?id=de.rakuun.MyClassSchedule.free) for keeping track of grades/homework. I also like the widget for displaying the courses of the day.
Are you in secondary(high school) or college/uni?
I have found that all I need for college is some sort of pdf reader such as Adobe or whatever suits for looking at my timetable and the odd document. Everything else I have found has been handled pretty well by the phone such as setting reminders and alarms.
It's really convenient (and sometimes less expensive) to download books you are required to read, using the Kindle app (Amazon), the Nook app (Barnes & Noble), or the Google Books app. All are available on the market.
Hey guys,
I am not sure whether this is the right category to ask the following question:
Because Facebook changes its terms and conditions by the end of January, I thought about deleting the app, at least on my phone.
However, another solution would be a mock location.
The only problem I have is:
I am using a GPS Tracker almost every day for my sports. Using a mock location disables the GPS Tracker.
Do you have any solution or do you know any app that I could use to fake my location for Facebook or at least disabling it for Facebook and use my GPS Tracker properly?
Cheers,
DJ
