HTC OEM Dialer Tap - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I have my HTC HD2 TMo
Have noted some minor and other serious flaws.
Among the most disturbing annoyances is the dialer. People has called me returning calls never done intentionally. To solve this problem is my request and suggestions.
1. Make the dialer CALL button respond to double tap instead of single touch.
2. Once you press the call button, the contact list will appear then double tap contact to make the call.
3. Use a dialer type like the IPhone...
Any solutions to this issue will be greatly appreciated...

is it possible to turn off touch screen dialing?

Hi,
what i want to do is disable the touch screen dialing so that i can only start a phone call by pressing the "pick up phone" button. is this possible?
reason being is because whilst looking through my contacts and menus it is so simple to accidently start a phone call when i dont want to.
this must be a common complaint surely?
thanks

[Q] "ongoing call" New Contact

I am running a Verizon Galaxy Nexus on Jelly Bean and my question is simple. Is it possible either through apps or rooting, to have a button on the "ongoing call" screen that appears if the number is caller id blocked or is not in any of my contacts; that creates a new contact? Example 1: Someone calls and their number is already in my contact list. The new contact button on the dialer is grayed out or just does not appear. Example 2: Someone calls and their number is not in my contact list. The new contact button on the dialer is not grayed out. When i press it, the new contact screen pops up with their number already filled in. After typing in all their relevant information while still on speakerphone, you can press save and be returned to the ongoing call screen. Example 3: Someone calls with a blocked caller id. The new contact button on the dialer is not grayed out. When i press it, the new contact screen pops up without their number already filled in. After typing in all their relevant information while still on speakerphone, you can press save and be returned to the ongoing call screen.

Call back button in dialer like on blackberries?

is there any tweak or mod for one mini in dialer when your calling one number multiple times and when is busy you just press once call back button and phone is starting to call the number again?
the dialer will generally display the name/number of the last person you connected with, so just tap on it and it automatically dials.

ok this is the deal,I'm calling some radio stations for some free stuff, and with android dialer it takes so much time after its shows busy and get back to dialer again so i need to tap on back button to make it faster but after i tap back I'm getting home screen,so i know its weird question i could not find mod to tweak for that,on bbs after its shows busy the call back button appears and i need just to press once and phone start to call same number again wiry good and fast dialling so there is such a option for htc?

Call a contact quickly

I quite like the stock dialler, but how do you phone someone quickly? Currently I:
1) press the dialler icon
2) press the * icon
3) press the avatar for the person I want to call
4) click on the desired phone number (home, mobile, work etc).
Can I somehow skip at least step 4 and have a default number for them so that just clicking their contact photo phones them (and long pressing pulls up the other info, perhaps)?
1) press the dialer icon
2) start typing the name of the person you want using the dialpad (similar to T9)
3) Press the name and number you want to dial, it will initiate the call

That's another way to do it, certainly, but it doesn't seem to do very much towards reducing the number of keys I press!

Stick the top contacts widget on the desktop and use that, two clicks, or click phone and make sure the top three people are one of the ones you want to dial, or scroll and the keyboard disappears to show call log. 2 Clicks.
Can't say there is going to be a much quicker way of doing it short of voice controls...
There should be speed dial settings but there aren't
You can put direct dials into a swipe launcher. You can call those wity one swipe. Smart task launcher for example has more than 700 spots, swipe pad is more user friendly.
I have used this widget on almost every android I have had in the last few years: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.yuyang226.contactswidget
I use Nova Launcher. Swipe up on the dialer icon means direct call to my wife ?

'Screen Pin' and Dialer issue

Using an AT&T LG G5 with android 7. (but posting here because the question is NOT LG specific, tested and observed same behavior on a Nexus 6P with android O beta).
So android has this neat "Screen Pin" feature so I can open the dialer, pin that screen and hand the phone to a friend who can make a call without access to anything else on my phone.
Sounds great but here is what actually happens: with the screen pinned, I can enter a number and press the place call button, the phone will show a message that you need to press the back and overview buttons to unpin the screen, the phone call screen will NOT come up, but the phone will actually place the call, so you are in a call but without a screen so you can't even hang up.
That makes the screen pin feature pretty useless for phone calls.
So does this work for anyone else? any suggestions that might make this work?
(not earth shatteringly important, but a nice feature to have if it actually worked).
Thank you
