So I decided to take the HTC Weather widget icons and port them over to the Genie widget. As you can see in the widget its using the HTC Icons. They look better then the Genie ones...Im not making an update for this one. Just adb push the widget to your /system/app folder. Enjoy!

Yea, I started thinking about it yesterday on whether it could be done.Beautiful Widgets is cool and all, but I dont need a GIANT clock when I have the clock in the taskbar. Plus, the GenieWidget is smaller and lighter. It took a little bit to move all the files around, but I think it looks good.

I believe the message here is that if you have Home++, then screenshots come out clear on the n1; as opposed to the garble we are all seeing.

I dont think you can have home ++ as the only theme. It runs on top of your default theme. If I was you I would root your phone and edit the default theme so you dont slow down your phone with a addon like home++, ahome and open home.

Actually home++ makes my nexus a lot snappier.. and the scrolling is a lot more smooth. I'm just worried that having one theme on top of the default theme will drain battery faster.
my screens
Started out with all 7 screens, now down to 3.
Organized the screens as: 1) web/games/media, 2) main/phone/camera/frequent apps, 3) system/control
The Big icons with the glass borders are "launcher dock" widgets, each holds 8 shortcuts. The battery widget is "vizBattery". The volume control widget is "Audio Manager"
I know the the weather widgets look ugly and I the launcher dock icons are too large. (need to try another icon pack)

This is not Beautiful Widgets, this is Weather Widget.
How to differentiate:
- Beautiful Widgets - weather icon always on lower right side.
- Weather Widget - weather icon in the lower middle.
Beautiful Widgets
Personally I more prefer this even though you can't get exact look of HTC sense one but for me it is much more beauty + much more customization.
Weather Widget
Beside changing the weather icon and skin of the clock, not much can be customize.
Original HTC Sense
Taken from Desire ROM for Nexus One. HTC one still always the best, you can seen the details is much more sharpen and nice.
Yeah, the bummer with these launcher2 skins is that they are running the old launcher2 that can't display 'quick contact' popups in the correct location, comprende? The popup is at the top of the screen, instead of the middle. I HATE that, lol. So does anybody know where the latest themed launcher2's are at?
Since NinjaMorph came out, I was able to do some quick on the go theming. Still working on it though. Next step is to make some dock icons white and look like they're apart of the glass dock. Still needs major re-work but I like it better than the glass table dock.
in case those of you looking for it.
the update also indicates that the market is broken. and why you cannot see the app.
there IS a link to the .apk in this post to dl.

If you have the device held horizontally its going to do that. If that is what you are talking about. Not a glitch.
I like the RAB and LAB buttons. Very useful.
I have the LAB as Phone (to make calls) and RAB as a folder.
The problem is I cannot add/remove apps from the folder.
I initially created the folder on the desktop, added about 10 apps to it then dragged it to the RAB. Excellent. I have access to those 10 apps almost 90% of the time.
Problem is I cannot add a new app shortcut to that folder.
Is there a way to undock/shift the folder from RAB back to desktop to add app shortcuts then back to RAB?
Because I tried adding an app shortcut to the folder by dragging it from desktop to RAB but that app got registered as the bew RAB and I lost the folder. Had to redo it all over.
otherwise its great.
thanks
this any different from ADW.Launcher in market?

Actually I was kinda wondering how to use them myself lol. I tried using FolderOrganizer like you suggested fdot and I was able to succesfully change the icon through the app itself but how do you get it to show that same icon in the app drawer or on the homescreen? For example, in FolderOrganizer i changed the TiKL icon to the custom ptt icon that you made but in the app drawer and home screen it still shows the default one. Would really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance
Yes would be awesome if someone could post a tutorial on how to install these

Wont change the app drawer that I know of. But thats not a feature I would use anyway.

can someone pullt he pngs for me and upload as a zip?
I would also like just the dock. I like the way this looks much better than some of the other "word" docks out there. Please and thank you
Ahhh.... I've been asking around about this dock. I thought it might have been something like that. Is there a way to get a 5 button dock using just sense? I like many of the sense features, but have grown to love the more options available in docks.
Just throwing a guess out, the 5 buttons are a no go. Are they just "re-programming" the original sense buttons to perform other actions?
I don't like asking so many questions around the forum, but really try to understand as much as possible.
Thanks!
hey man. what you are looking at here is myn themed launcher pro dock. I am a huge launcher pro fan. I have ran sense and aosp and flashed this zip im going to attatch and it works just fine. It also themes the facebook, favorites, etc widgets with the semi transparent look. only downfall ive found is that you cant update it. give it a try man. On a sense based rom i flash this then calkulins remove sense and get great battery life.
its the free version of this:

Guys,
I believe that Warm 2.2 is the best rom available right now (IMPO) but the one thing that bugs me is the following:
I LOVE the five button dock with the text, but, from my understanding, the only way to get it is to install the launcher pro add on and when you do this, you loose the clock/weather widget I LOVE so much.
Is there any way around this? Get the 5 button/text dock and still have the clock/weather widget?
Thanks!
