At last! The release that no one has been waiting for...
A Homepage 'mini-theme' based on all of my 'glass' ('flip' or digital) clocks.
Each of the attached cabs installs one coloured glass 'mini-theme' to your Today/Homepage. The mini-theme consists of the flip clock and the other 'furniture on the page (i.e. the background for the Weather, the Calendar and the mini-Date/Time bar you see when you scroll down to the quicklinks).
I am only attaching a small selection of screenshots to the first two posts to save space.

You can install each 'mini-theme' as usual using the cab files attached in the next posts. Uninstalling is done, as usual, via Settings/Remove Programs. If anything in the previous two sentences doesn't make sense to you, you probably should not install these cabs...!
The 'mini-themes' work on Manila 2.5.1920 because that is what I have on my HD2. I think they should also work on 1921 (but I cannot guarantee it) and I haven't got a clue about other versions.
The original wallpapers are not mine. But they are available on this forum from the usual suspects. I cannot remember who posted which wallpaper, so credit goes to all of them...
Glass Icons, slider etc. are from Jaguaralani and Dinik respectively.
If you only want the clocks, you can find them at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=650245.

If you would like to see what the 'marble' and 'tiled effect' clocks look like, you can find them at at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=675912.

Some more...
Just cabs this time...
More cabs...
If anyone knows how to change the colour of the font on the Today/Homepage from white to black, they might want to try this one.
I wouldn't recommend it otherwise...
Have you been stockpiling these badboys?
I've not seen such a huge release since I last went to the Curry House.
The difference being that on that occasion, I had a bad dose of the squits. Your release was far from that... You my friend are an artist.
Thank you.

Thank you for the glowing praise (and for sharing those Curry House images...).
Yes. I have been saving these up (or too lazy to post them, if you prefer the more honest answer).
I have one more release (No. Not the Curry House variety) to make. Hope to complete the set over the weekend...

I have been looking for this sort of thing for a LONG time. Since my TouchPro2.
I have tried to do it myself in the past using HDWalls but to no avail, the slider icons were always off center and I didnt know how to edit the clock.
My idea was to have all the slider icons be DHARMA Initiative logos, have the clock be identical to the hatch clock. With the clock starting out @ 108:00 then flipping to the actual time, or even the red/black hieroglyphics to start then flipping to the correct time.
This could also be a little out there and impossible to do, but I was thinking, was doing an animated wallpaper of maybe a jungle background with black smoke moving through it. Or maybe just DHARMA logos falling...or white and black rocks.
DHARMA Lady by Geronimo Jackson as a ring tone.
This is just random ideas, I would be willing to take any well made Lost/DHARMA theme done in anyway.
Ive seen Lost themes for iPhones and Palms, and would love to have one for WM on my TMOUSA HD2.
Thank you all for your time...hope someone could make something as I am sure I am not the only Lost fan out here that would love this sort of thing (would also be willing a give financial compensation thru PayPal for any that rule)
160+ views and no responses? maybe I am the only Lost fan out there...lol
Its a very hard request, probably why you dont have any replies like the clock idea, I dont think thats possible, well not too anyone, but to the average/intermediate user thats hard, you would need to talk to someone like santod040, co0kiemonster those kinda guys
thats what I figured... worth a shot tho...lol I honestly just wanted custom slider icons more than anything...I tried to do em myself but they always came out off center.
yeah, this would be very nice
sometimes i use lost-wallpaper, but it isnt enough for me
lost it up!
ur not the only one.
i tried making an animated wallpaper using logos from this wallpaper... but I did somethign wrong along the way cuz the logos wouldnt drift. =/

Despite (or in spite of) the completely underwhelming response to my 'glass' clocks (you can find them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=650245), I have decided to share my latest 'creations' with you guys...
These are basically two variations of the aforementioned 'glass' clocks.
One set is a sort of 'marble' effect. The other a kind of 'tiled' or 'scaled' (as in reptile scales) effect. Anyway, check out the screenshots and make up your own minds what to call them.

The clocks should work without installing any additional files. However, if you want the transparent look for the rest of the 'furniture' on the Home page, you should probably also install the file named 'JKS_Transparent_Home_Calendar_Alarm.cab'.
The clocks work on Manila 2.5.1920 because that is what I have on my HD2. I think they should also work on 1921 (but I cannot guarantee it) and I haven't got a clue about other versions. I have been told that they also work on CHT, which is an unexpected bonus!

I made the 'tiled' or 'scaled' wallpapers myself based on something abumhmmd1 did on another post. So thanks go to him for the inspiration.

I think that covers it for now. I'll be reserving the next few posts to ensure I have enough space for all the cabs.

I have an idea for Icons, quick links, notifications, slider, and bottom soft key bar that I would like to see come to life.
The problem is, I'm not a dev, I do not have Photo shop, and if I ran out and bought it, I would'nt know how to use it.
SOOOO, My idea with your talents, and this would be one rockin package. I might even learn a few things along the way
I was looking at a pic of a etched glass globe, and said WOW that would look so nice as icons/theme on my phone. I wonder how hard it would be to do.
Here is the pic of my insperation. If your interested in taking this on, please contact me, and lets get the ball rolling.
Cheers

Hey, you dont need to create a whole theme for this i guess, you already have all the tools in this forum to do so. E.g Just use Hello00's glossy theme and a glass icon set, then use the above globe image as your background.
See my screenshot, the clock is hel00s gloss clock and the icons are Dinik's Anastasia set if i remember correctly. It will look sweet with the globe.
Try and out and let us know how u get on.
thanks for the tip, looks nice.
But, I was thinking of making the images for the glass icons in an etched look, and doing the rest of the elements IE, soft bar, slider, clock, ect etched as well. The flip clock is probibly already out there (or something close to it) and shouldnt take to much to do.
The rest how ever would take a lot of PS time.
Ah, i see what you mean.
Im sure somebody will be able to help you with this.
It will look good when done.
Ill be watching this thread, good luck with it.
Very nice concept, far beyond my abilty, but I will look forward to a capable designer to create these.
its not so easy...you have to know 3d editing...like 3d max...there is a 3d ball and a texture placed on it. it looks only good...because the globe texture need to be round...but if you place something not round...like home...it gonna look horrible.
honestly, I was not seeing a 3D image in my mind. more like taking your Anastasia template and putting a etched image in the layers representing the app.
The idea of a 3D image would look nice, but be a lot of work.
I collect the watches and love them to death. Would sure love to have an awesome clock widget on my phone that matches my wrist. I found one in an HD2 thread but it is for CHT and I don't think that works on my phone running Myn's 2.2. Here is a pic of what I am looking for. Maybe this is already out there, otherwise I would be willing to cough up a ransom for something like this too.

Where did you get the images of the dials? I've got a Black Seal Automatic that I wouldn't mind seeing in a widget. I'm looking to get into Android development and this might start me down that route.
Here is the thread I found the image in.
◆◆◆ [Clocks for CHT] ◆◆◆ Lume up your Home Tab
It is set up for Cookies Home Tab for the HD2.....never heard of Cookies Home Tab....but doubt it can work on the Evo.....

I would ask in the thread you found the attached image for the base .psd file used to make the clock faces. It should be just a matter of getting the hands on there as well (maybe include a picture of your watch for reference or again ask the original dev for his .psd files for those as well) which probably wouldn't be too hard to do. If you get all of that try asking iamthebigcheeze if he could throw it together for you. Like I said with all the right image files already created it really shouldn't be hard to throw together a flashable for this clock.
On a related note, I'm a watch lover too but I'm a Tag Heuer fan
Thanks. I will put in a request on that thread an PM the developer for that stuff. I will let you know what happens.
BTW....fixed the link in the above post too
