Hello HD2 enthousiasts,
i have a problem with my lock screen and i couldnt find the answer, its probably a stupid question but still tough i want to know it.
i have Artemis rom installed with GTX Sense theme and now i have the standard winmo lock screen along with the one from Sense. is there a way to disable the winmo one ?? i have looked in every setting and possibly looked over it but its really starting to anoy me

there are a few solutions. But first a question. You say you lost the sense lock screen. does this mean you install Co0kie Monster Layoun, then there is a sense lock. If you want to change this one, you must download cht editor, install this and configure the right lock with this program.
second thing that could be is that you dont mean the sense lock but the windows mobile 6.5.x lockscreen.
I solved this problem in the past to download smartlock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505032(from xda), install this. Go to settings, system smartlock, and enable 6.5 lock

well not really, i now have 2 lock screens, the default one and one from sense GTX theme, i only need one and if possible only the last one

HD2 has 2 lockscreens of its own.
Switch to the old lockscreen where you have to press and hold for lock.
Maby then you can have only the gtx lockscreen.

i dont understand you, I press the hang up butten and when i try to unlock it i first get the default lock and then the lock from GTX

Fixed, look in Cookies Home Tab and disable default lock
He doesn't have Co0kie's Home Tab installed - he's already explained what he does have.
Try setting this registry value...
HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd : DeviceLockWhenSuspend = 0
It's not 100% effective (I think it can differ from ROM to ROM), but that's what I use to turn off the default lock screen.

Depends on what you are running on your phone.
Your question is very vague. If you have the shortcut boxes there you just click the empty box and it pulls up a list.

Like I said, your question was too vague.
I am running WM 6.5 w/TF3D and have 20 shortcuts there.
I suggest you search for maxcy's Manila themes and get familiar with the different options available so you know what you are asking for.
Shortcut on Home screen depend on the build# of your Manila.
Read lots, the possibilities are endless.

Yes you have touchflo3d but in the 2.1 version of manila.
If you want to have shortcuts in the home page you must change to a rom with manila 2.5
how can i see manila's version?
Go to Settings tab\About Phone\Software Info.
You are likely going to want to flash a custom ROM, assuming you're on the stock one still (If you gave as much info up front as possible before asking, there would be no need to assume).
You really need to start reading about flashing a new ROM.
There are no shortcuts so please read thoroughly.

well yes first its in russian , second in land scape mode its all gibberish .. the screen become out of place the icons are over each other. also when u change the clock the weather animation covers the analog clock a lil from bottom. also the left key name is wrong and when u pull up the shortcuts they mix with small clock overlapping text. ive used td2 tool 2c for landscape mod.

Nice but needs to be improved
Programm looks nice although I would rather have 9 icons (3x3).
It is in Russian language, to bad at least English isn't standard.
Hope it will be in English and with less icons soon!

I dont know if you can cut it off the main screen, if you want to remove only the clouds and the weather updated by now you can do a hard reset and there you will see Tap to update weather.
Unfortunately the weather widget is fixed in this Manila version.....
You can install a new clock or a different theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566330
But all include the weather widget......

i dont use it too ... would be better if it aint there .. but there's gonna be a huge blank place ... i dont mind it ... u'll get used to it quickly ... pf .. no phone is perfect , if u want go to HD2 Leo forum and see what problems have they ...

Touch2 doesnt have Opengl driver, so we can not put TouchFlo3d on our phones as much as i know.
There might be an option to get rid of weather widget.......if you go back to the previous M2D version.......but than you need HSPL, an "old" Rom and not sure what else needs to be fixed......

Was looking for that answer too, because we already have the big clock of manilla so there's no use of having the clock in the topbar. Don't know how to do it also.
there use to be an option to turn it off when i had my old omnia but cant find that these days
was thinkin about that 4 weeks now.. what u can do is 2 use the battclock programm and place something diffrent over it , thats what im doing @ the moment hope someone is bringing a cab 4 it soon ..

i believe hdtweak program would allow you to do that. not sure if it would work with this device.

In WM 6.5.x I don't know, but in 6.5, in settings, all setings, Clock & Alarms, More, there is a choice to display or not the clock. Hope it helps !

It utterly, absolutely and definitively cannot be disabled in 6.5.x ROMs at this time. I'm genuinely surprised you haven't found this while searching as it has been answered many times before.

'More' tab Untick the 'Display the clock on the title bar in all programs'
That worked fine on my stock 1.66 WWE ROM.
just use battclock then , u can even put a blank colored space over it ..or an image2match ur taskbar ...

I suspect you don't have a 6.5.x ROM then. The 6.5.x series have the Start Menu button at the bottom, rather than the top.

Sorry sir, I don't want to stir things up, but I think what you're saying isn't true
Have you ever wondered why some cooked topbars (showing either colored icons or different types of them) don't show the clock sometimes?
This is likely to mean that topbar clock is a customizable feature, isn't it?
Nothing is absolutely impossible, no wonder some cooks did it.

This is the lock screen program I use and it does exactly what your asking. just make sure once you install it go to its settings and select WM 6.5
If you want the original WinMo 6.5 lockscreen back take a look at DJPete's side and install the first cab in this post (DJ Pete Original Lockscreen.cab).

I have tried to un-install and install other Lockscreens but this one wont be over written!
I have installed DJ Pete Original Lockscreen but it wont show up.

Yeah, the HD Mini/Oboe lock screens can be a ***** to remove. In the first post of the Dexter ROM thread there is a cab attached that I used to get rid of the Oboe lock screen cooked into that ROM. Maybe it will work for you too.

i've got a MDA Compact V which is the same as TD2, from T-Mobile.
It has WinMo 6.5 and Manila 2.1.19xxx.
On the TF3D Homescreen looks "only" like this:

From what i understand, CHT doesn't support manila 2.1
if it somehow does work for you, the customization need another piece of software call CHT editor.

Since I posted my message I realised that my Sense was only 2.1
I upgraded to the latest htc stock rom and it now works.
I am looking for information about CHT editor to see what that does.
