Hopefully I'm not starting a thread on an app that's already being discussed somewhere, but anyone tried the Touch Keyboard on their Wizard? I saw it in the Kaiser thread, and found a link to here (WWE Version): http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=55596&d=1193351352
The thread its being discussed in is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336587
I think there is a link to another cab with more languages in the thread above. I'm gonna give it a try when I get home tonight. If anyone else does, please post results.
Thanks.
I have it it seems ok..I was hoping it was going to be similar to the apple phone..as far as when you press the letters it would zoom in and then you could press the letter you want from there. Don't get me wrong it is a lot better then the regular one with plenty of options and if you like suretype you can emulate it with this program....g

Read the Sticky on Radio's. Or read the last page on Dutty's Post, you will see me explaining this to someone.
It will explain that you need a 6.1 Radio for a 6.1 ROM.
1. Upgrade your radio!!!
2. To allign the screen, first disable FTouchFlo, soft reset, allign the screen and reenable the FTouchFlo...

Thanks a lot the radio problem is solved. The keyboard though remains. The functionality with the function keys i.e. the commas,; etc..etc are not aligned I get different values. I get a & instead of " that the button shows.

search for tilt keyboard fix.. Just install it and soft reset your phone...
Searched and here you go...

Has the general public forgotten how to read or do a search.
Why not post your questions in the thread pertaining to the rom that you just flashed instead of starting a new thread.
I bet you have a tilt dont you. Have you tried the tilt keyboard fix?
Seriously, if I had a dollar for every "my sound isn't working" thread, I'd have like 20 dollars by now. (sorry, couldn't resist)
Holy cow... After I revamped the wiki to be easier to navigate than any other wiki, there are still people asking this?
XDA-developers is being inundated with regular Joes, and despite everything we try to do to assist the average Joe, there are still too many people who will start a new thread and bump it until they get the support they need, rather than reading.
I give up. Logging out until things change around here...
I don't blame you Alex. Un-f#$%king-believable that people are such idiots.
Hi,
I hope, my thread is at the right place here?
I have the problem, that I am not able to fix the default-keyboard to the standard-keyboard. If I change it using the settings or sktools everything is fine, but after softreset the 20-touch-keyboard is set as default.
I have searched within the forum, but did not find an answer, hoe to resolve this bug.
Greetings from Luebeck in old germany

Thank you for your replies. I'll try out SIPChange the next days. In addition I'll look for HTC at the CeBIT to ask for an update.

Hello mimalue,
did these changes solve your problem or did you get any answer from HTC at CeBit?
I'm having the same problem on my Orbit 2; changes to 20-keyboard after each softreset or when turning back on the device.
@ MSG,
I 'm sorry, but I did not try SIPChange yet, since I have read about serveral problems with this prog. I just want to finish configuration of my orbit, backup the whole system and then try it.
HTC was on CeBIT only with a staff which was not able to answer my questions and they asked me to make a call to HTC.
If I have solved my problem I will post the results here!
Best regards

Hey guys and gals,
I'm hoping to avoid as much flaming as possible but I have been on the forums and wiki since last night with no avail. I just got a Tilt (Saw the light and switched from BB). I installed HardSPL, Used SIM/CID Unlocker, then installed Dutty's V1 ROM (Which is awesome by the way) and now the keyboard is very slow to respond.
For example, I will depress the space key, and then type a letter but the device will do letter then, space. I've been faster on the diamond keyboard. I have tried the Tilt Keyboard fix.cab to no avail and I'm out of options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that.. Can the Mods move into duttys rom thread? I have been searching both the wiki and the forum with no luck. That's how i stumbled upon the Tilt Keyboard Fix.cab, which didn't do anything. That's when I decided the post. Just trying to stick to forum etiquette (I watched the movie, which was very entertaining by the way).

search disable xt9 cab, and run that
Also go into keyboard options and disable auto correction of words and that helps too.
what's your HardSLP version? If you are using WM6.1 ROM, you must have 3.2x or 3.56 installed instead v1. I have the same problem before
99.99% sure it's the XT9. I had the same problem for months and then disabled it today with KaiserTweak which fixed it.
To anyone who can help,
I flashed EnergyROM_28002_RHODIUM_19.Nov.2009_Standard into my Tilt 2 which uses a different keyboard layout than the TP2 there for I cannot use the numbers or symbols properly. Does anyone have a cab or fix for this? I'm new to the forum and a big fan. Please help if you can.

Found it...
I actually just found it after doing a quick search and saw your reply as I was about to remove this thread. Will do thorough search next time.
