Hey Guys, I have been looking for a cab (or any other way) to get the Incite's keyboard on my Pure. I have searched here google and every other phone modding website I could think of but have found nothing. I've seen people post ones they liked best and other keyboards but I'm looking for this one specifically. Thanks for the help!

I have coming to this forum for a while and have always been thankful for the help and advice and for making my old MDA work the way is was meant to ;-).
Alas, the thing dies and I wanted to get something new so I bought this thing on eBay;

They call it the hTY Touch Flo or Hantel Q5and it is pre-loaded with WM6. It says it has built in GPS and a few other goodies but the iGo software just hangs the phone and does not fit the screen width and I have no way of changing it. It is also lacking some of the previous great features that I had especially with mfrazz's cooked rom.
I've scanned the forums and tried to search for this phone without much luck and was wondering if it might be similar enough to one of the phones on this forum to piggy back off of.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance.

This question might have been covered here before, I tried searching, read bunch of threads, but couldn't find specifically what I'm looking for.
A friend of mine, ordered one of those Chinese iPhone clones to see what they are all about, and now I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get rid of the OS that's on it and (if possible) maybe install Android OS on it.
Looking for some suggestions on how to get it done, if its possible to do so at all.

is there a way to install htc sense on it?
and is there any suggestions as to what else i cant live without?

any recommendations? theres quite a bit of roms
i tried a few roms with the fuze, im kinda jaded now. couldnt find anything stable.
so i succesfully installed the energy rom, its working great but my keyboard is mapped wrong. ive searched several different string but nothing really comes up. and i have to wait 20 seconds between searches
any suggestions

few years back I've been using HTC Universal and remember that there was some kind of "hack" that some services seen my phone as Nokia. i searched all internet but cant find anything regarding something similar for HD2. Is that possible to do ?? Any help appreciated

I know that isn't too helpful - but if we know why you would want to do that- maybe we can find a way around it
well my answer is:
there are java applications that work fine on hd2 but because they are not designed for this phone you cant download them directly . with this sort of "cheat" there is a chance to do it. it did work with HTC Uniwersal

I just got an HTC HD 2 today from a friend, and it already has a version of android on it. I dont know how to replace the android files without messing up the phone. Can someone help or walk me through this?

sry i dont know anything about the hd2 and yes sir you are correct i just saw them in dallas for the neverender tour 4 hours of nothing but coheed it was amazing my 3rd show i may add new orleans, little rock, and dallas!

If your friend was so generous to give you that nice piece of hardware I´m sure he can guide you to replace the Android OS with that Microsoft crap. Your friend has invested some time and energy in the modification of his phone so he would be interested in having you enjoying it, too, wouldn´t he?
To be able to help it would be useful to know if android rom is nand (ie has replaced the original wm6.5 os) or is running from sd card.
When you boot up the phone, does magldr load?
I would suggest you do go over to the hd2 forum and look at the sticky threads, tey have all the info you will need to change/update android to something newer or even change os completely to say wp7?
If your droid is nand, it is very simple to update, just head over to the HD2 nand forum

Thank you everybody for being kind and not throwing noob slanders at me. The friend who gave me the phone actually bought it off of someone who put android on it haha so this nice phone is a hand-me-down for sure.
