Hello,
I have been a long time follower of XDA-Developers and just registered. I just wanted to let everyone know of a new site, its called mobiobie and can be found at we also have forums were you can tell us what apps and stuff you want to be reviewed. MobiObie Online,Ltd has also just became a registered Palm WebOS and Android developer and is starting to develop applications for the platforms you love. I didn't see any forum rules that i violated with this post but if i did please PM or email me to let me know and it wont happened again. I am just trying to let people know about the new small time developer and app review site and a cool place to hang out and just chat. So if you have time please take the time to check out our site and even register as a user if you like our site. Here is how you can keep up to date with us.
Thanks for the support or at least reading this post. It is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Dallas S.

There doesnt seem much interest in this site anymore than there was.
I used to visit this site daily but lately there only seems to be rehashing of old posts.
Am I visiting the wrong site?? Because this doesnt seem like much of a community.
the big empty news area in the centre of the screen sorta makes it look like it.

Just you, I am here everyday. Got a couple of things I'm waiting for.
mmm, there are quite some posts very day.
Maybe the holiday-season had effects on traffic.
It must be the busiest dead site on the web, there are numerous new posts every day, there are bound to be repeat questions as new people come on line and post questions without searching the forum. Probably the reason there is no news in the box is because there is no news with regard to the device we discuss in this forum.
I'm still a frequent visitor too Not sure about admin but there are still plenty of users contributing which is what a forum is all about.
we are basically waiting for the xda3 to arrive, not much news to tell on old devices like the xda-1 and xda-2.
I am busy with other phones, unfortunately that is work done under NDA.
It's just that we don't really like you guys, so we put in a new feature to hide posts from you so you won't reply to them.
this forum is always the greatest site on the world!
Hi. I really love this site. I know that many new people try t o ask the old questions that already posted in this site, but It's okay. Some old questions up to now we haven't have a solution for it. For example, how to fix the radio stack? how to flash it in sd card to save our xda phone?
I noticed that some of us have problem with radio stack upgrade and we have been waitin for the solution.
If someone don't like this site, feel free to not login this site.
I LOVE THIS SITE!!! THANKS THE XDA DEVELOPERS TO CONTRIBUTE YOUR GREAT WORK.
Regards,
Hoanghon

Good luck,
Hey guys, I am happy that I am able to post this here after getting permission from the Admins! My name is Derek (aka viperboy on DF, Phandroid, and others) and I created www.froyoroms.com for Froyo ROMs and Froyo Development. I know there are already alot of forums for Android, but I wanted to give this a shot as this makes it easier for everything to be consolidated in one place.
I started this site up about 3 days ago so I don't have many users yet, but I'm looking forward to the site growing! It is completely free with no ads and you're more than welcome to just view if you want to even if you're not registered. I want to make it clear that I did this for the community, not to make money. I am not looking to compete with this site or any other site, it's just another place for Devs and Android enthusiasts to come together and enjoy all of the new ROMs and everything coming out with Froyo.
Speaking of Devs... I am looking to get some of you guys over there too! Again, I don't want to take you away from another site, but you have an open invitation to your own place over there. I can also provide you with...
Unlimited FTP storage
Your own board for you to moderate
A direct link to your board (example: www.froyoroms.com/developername)
your own e-mail address @froyoroms.com
As for the users, I ask you to please register over there, we would love to have you! As the site grows, I will also be looking for Moderators and I can provide you with storage space and your own @froyoroms.com e-mail as well. When that time comes, I will post more details about it in the Announcement section of my site.
If you have any questions, please let me know! Suggestions and feedback is greatly appreciated as this is my first website and forum and I believe that listening to user feedback is the greatest way to improve a site!
Again, thank you to XDA Admins and this site!
- Derek
I had some people register here after posting this thread. Just wanted to say thank you for registering! I'm working on some EVO how-to's and will get to the Droid how-to's hopefully tomorrow.
If anyone out there would be able to post how-to's (like rooting and recovery basics since there isn't much in the way of Froyo ROMs right now) that would be great! I am not familiar with all the devices so I could sure use some help!
Thanks again, everyone!
-Derek

Hey just dropped by to post a link to my personal android blog. It is not a great thing to look at but I am trying to increase the flow to it buy talking more in android related forums. This being one of the best out there I quickly decided to come here. I am very new at this so please visit more then once. You will find changes daily. Thank you for those that go to my site and support my work. Please email me at takjr360 (Gmail Account) on any questions. I actually am making my college money with this site. So please come and take part. Follow it, and comment. The site is about android products and applications. Please come and take a look around. The site is called androviews.blogspot.com
Ads are annoying but don't be bashful and read them. Every once and awhile you will find something that is interesting.
Hi, all, first, I am not sure whether I should put this post under this section or the General discussion. If I put it in the wrong, please kindly let me know and I will change it to the right place.
Ok, here is the thing. I have developed an android app (to remove the doubt of spamming, I will not mention it here). I thought it is great, so I upload it to the Google Play store and send review request to over 50 review websites. But the downloading data is really frustrating, only about 100 over two months.
I know XDA has many real android experts who are willing to offer help to those who are in need. So I wonder is there anyone who are willing to offer some honest suggestion for my app?
Thanks in advance.
