Note: To all who are currently using Helix Launcher, I would remove it before flashing this theme, as this rom has a themed version included.
If you want to remove Helix Launcher run (someone will ask sooner or later):

If you don't want the new battery Icon, turn off battery status display and use the META MORPH zip attached to update the battery icon
About the App add-on!: There were servel themed apks that didn't make into the theme for several reasons (it wasn't in DarchDroid, just plain looked werid, etc) so I packed them all into this NON FLASHABLE zip. You have to extract it and install the .apks you want maunally from either you sdcard+file explores or adb. The quality is not quite to par with the original ones, but you can only tell if you look lol. The zip currently contains:
Audiowidget, AutoKiller, BugReporter, DSupdater, Quickboot, SetCPUT, and XDA with more planed for theming

Its also kinda funny.. I took the icons from this theme couple days ago for my main apps I have at the bottom of my helix launcher. I just noticed.

did you flash 2.5.1.1? it should be in there, because i edited the source to point eri.xml to /system/etc instead of /data.
i know alot of DarchDroid user's are gonna like this me personally i'am simplistic i like my hero stock aosp vanilla but you did a nice port once again great job Vrekk

well then, unzip the rom, go into system/etc and push the eri.xml to /system/etc. if that doesn't work, maybe i messed up and you still need to push it to /data.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! This theme was kinda a testing the waters thing, I might port some other ones over or add more to this one (Brainstorming a few minor things).
Btw, if you check the original theme thread (link on OP) and like the music/dialer app posted at the bottom of it more then the ones I choose, you can just flash them over this and it will work fine

I think that has to due with the DarchDroid's new cool apps2sd thing so I have no idea where you can clear the defaults, but Home switcher from the market will let you do change your home app

This is a custom theme I made for the MIUI ROM. I'm in no way a fan of the stock orange colors Android chooses to use, so I did some work of my own.

The MIUI ROM was released with Chinese as the primary language, so the Phone.apk in the package is translated into English. All the apps in the pack are in English instead of Chinese.
What you see where the icons are at the bottom is LauncherPro with my personal theme, not the stock Launcher2 (iPhone-like launcher) that comes with MIUI.

To make the pulldown bar a variation of black I would have to change its corresponding fonts to white. I'd need to research how to do that since I'm used to Cyanogenmod making it easy, but if I get the chance I'll give it a shot.

Nope but I accidentally clicked on "CHINESE TEXT recovery CHINESE TEXT" and it flashed the clockwork recovery without me even knowing (I was using AmonRA)... then I was able to flash the theme with no issues
I already have the English3.apk and the other packs installed and everything is in english. Can I just flash v.6 over it or do I need your english3 pack also???

First off, I want to say thanks to Sonnysekhon for all of his hard work on his themes and for helping me a little. If I left anyone out its because I don't know where some of this stuff came from. I've been working on this for quite a while now and have made many changes at some user requests. I incorporated tons of 3D images and they look amazing (at least I think so anyway). These themes have an awesome HD feel now as well. The framework are complete and I will be slowly theming the apps as I go. All suggestions and requests are welcome!

One of the best themes I've tried. Plan on running it for a while. Check the images for browser though. Zoom in button is bigger than zoom out and is pixelated... other than that its great!

Any chance of a flashable zip or possibly a metamorph?

Edit: I found one wallpaper but I cannot find the icons. Anyone know why when I go to wallpapers it makes me resize them? did you forget the icon pack here or did i just miss it somewhere? I'm using launcher pro plus by the way, but I still should be able to find the icons on my SD card or something. Any ideas?

the launcher i used is adw with custom shortcuts but the icons are the application icons included with the theme except for the app drawer icon.
Would it be possible for you to make a flashable zip to change the battery from the liquid to CM6.1 stock battery meter?

I have to agree here. Why not just release the blue XDA and bootscreen & wallpaper + icons etc. as an 'add-on' for xfx10 since from what I can see there are few changes to that theme. Anyone wanting this on their phones should use the link Sempiternal provided then add op's stuff to it.
*Edit- Not trying to sound ungrateful, go3asy. I like it. It's just 'common courtesy', and I see you haven't posted links to the modded theme so I know you 'get it'.

Lol the dialar is a full change, contact/phonebook little icons all changed [blue], and every framework image tweaked to propper shade or changed the reboot popup menu header i did change but it was the only .9png that buggerd so had to put it back to the darker xfx10 blue which goes good anyway, The only things un touched was the message incoming and outgoing backgrounds, the notification bar icons - wifi - battery etc.
he system icons are from the rom im using etternity not the theme, reason i started of xfx10 is i had it and was using it, had no idea at all how to build the custom.zip from scratch to install from xrecovery lol originally didnt think there would be a problem to post as its not exactly a total port and i always assumed this forum was for sharing, im not charging for it id be happy to pass it to sempiternal to add to his xfx10 thread as an alternative and just contribute the changes, quite like the honeycomb neon styling not seen anything for us yet so thought id give it a go, only thing is the official honeycomb wallpapers look terrible on our x10'd very bad gradients
Changing it all the now from original apps changed the messaging to greyscale original images
Yeah, man- like I said- I like your additions and I see you put in work. (more than 'few' changes didn't mean to offend)
But I think what identifies this as Xfx10 to me most is the status bar icons. Several dark themes share common elements that end up looking the same but the status bar & icons being nearly identical are why I made my comment.
I make custom lockscreens & icons for the themes that I use too. I've thought about making a "Theme Add-Ons" thread...
I think it would be great if Sempi let you use his theme & then put it in his thread.
I would like to see it myself & use the bits I like.
But if he doesn't that's OK too...

As usual, disable lagfix if you have it as a precaution. Yes you may re-enable it after you are done. (I get that question all the time, so I figure I better start putting that in also.) Make a backup. I'm not responsible for anything you do to your phone. Flash in recovery.

Quick question for you, I really love the carbon fiberesque look of the slide down from the Dark Gloss theme, but I really like everything else about this Midnight theme, would that be as simple as an edit to a .png (or a swap)? (The way it's animated I would think the buttons at the top and the actual notification slider part would be separate images and could possibly be swapped from theme to theme, but I know nothing .)

There's a few things involved with it. I really like the carbon fiber drops also. Once things die down and we get this 2.2 up and running I'm going to build my own theme and that is one of the features that it will have. As far as swapping out one drop down for another, I haven't done it, but I'm sure it is pretty easy. There may be a few .9 files that will have to be taken in to consideration but that should be the worst of it.

Got this flashed and out looks great. Just a quick question...on the original theme they were able to change some app designs (market was one). Is that something we can get or do we not have that functionality?

That will be in v1.1 as soon as I can get to it. I tried to get it going in v1.0, but it wasn't as easy as moving the png files like normal. That's why I used the port instead of the original. I might be getting a break from this project I'm working on now, so that might be something I can work on in my spare time.
Not a big deal just gives me something to look forward to on some new themes. If that project is froyo then you just keep plugging away and ignore the rest of us!

I love the carbon fiber drop down from a few other themes so I hacked the original with some blue highlights and copied it into phidelts port and now have it on my phone. If you have any interest, I'll post the zip later on
here is how it looked before i added color;
here's what adding carbon to the original looks like...

how much do you know about theming?
like if i give you the .9 file do you know how to put it in the twframework-res.apk...
I can tell you where to put it.. you just use 7zip..
i dont know where it goes but i am great at following instructions
btw i normally move file with root explorer homie...cant get adb to work right on my comp...or i can use termial emulator

Download this, It's the New Background with Carbon
You need to have 7zip installed on your computer..
And also this theme...
Right click on the Midnight.zip theme go to 7zip and Open Archive
Go to system/framework
Right click twframework-res.apk click Open
open the res folder
open drawable-hdpi
and paste your new background into the folder
click yes to copy
then close 7zip
Reflash the theme using Phidelt82's instructions....
giving it a shot now...wish me luck...ans yes i got my stuff backed up!

{4/21/2011/8:04PM PST}Sorry for the glitchy zip on the font packaged theme. I reformatted the whole thing and the tester reports proper function.(The one posted before this edit caused cpu to always run at 998mhz, the phone to be sluggish, and random reboots to occur.)
Alright. The Title contains WIP because This isnt what I'd call a complete theme yet. This thread is for suggestions, testing, and even installing, should one like it the way it is. Bugs, not workings, those 9 yards, all go here, as usual.
This is a 2.2 FroYo Theme, based on the arc theme default in Wolfbreak's CyanogenMod. Therefore, the HW LED's work. I'd love to have auto brightness instead, so if anyone knows how to do that PLEASE PM me. What I'm talking about is the opposite of say Wolf patching a theme for HW LED's between buttons.

Now that I'm close to beign done fixing things(I hope), I have a vote to take in.
Tell me what battery icon mod you want that's not crossed out from below.
Don't worry about Animation, or that first REVolution (it only has that blue dot in the middle). I'll test out the smooth one and if it doesnt work then I'll just keep the normal one.
EDIT: I have the zip working again. Question is, do we want to keep simacid's battery mod? Because I currently have that hoooolm battery icon. The charging animation is also really great, and the icon fades through the colors as the battery charges/discharges. Once that's decided, I'll update OP with the other features I added. Then I might find time to make a flashable zip of the font.

Well I already updated first post. Xrecovery Zip Fixed! And about the dialer, I'm using Wolfbreak's ARC one. It's not in this theme though.

Just a quick feedback, after flashing the theme I noticed some sluggishness. So i checked my system panel and found my CPU was running at 100% at all time. Rebooted 3 times now, will revert back my backup and see if it works hmm
UPDATE:
Back to normal already now after reverting back to my backup, no idea whats wrong
