I just started this topic to find out what is your favorite WM App`s?
I have instaled on my TG01:
WM 6.5.5 with manilla 2.5 2011 v0.012.2 from arag0n85 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=657056 the best rom there is. Bugs free. I respect arag0n85 works.

I haven't installed custom firmware yet but you have, have you used SPB Backup with the custom firmware as i want to use that to install my programs.
SPB Backup didn't work for me with Novembre5's Image
It creates a backup file on the storage card but it gives a error, that the backup file is corrupt...

Hello Big K,
What version of Garmin do you have on your TG01. I have tried installing to my device (TG01) and it doesn't work. The GPS will only connect via bluetooth and 8 digit code doesn't appear. Please could you point me in the right direction.

Go and buy it.
I can personally testify that Garmin Mobile XT functions perfectly on the TG01. It is my one and only GPS Navi program. It sounds like you have an old version of the program. Go to www.garmin.com and download the newest update is here http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3389. I bought an old version that used the Garmin Bluetooth GPS device, however when I upgraded to my TG01 it had built in GPS, so I didn't need the Bluetooth GPS device anymore. I had to call Garmin and buy the new updated Garmin Mobile XT for a discounted price because I had already purchased the old version, anyways, that is all. Do it up my friend, call Garmin, they will fix everything for you.
See here is the nifty thing, you don't need a key as long as you are connected to your Garmin Mobile GPS device, the Bluetooth GPS receiver is the key, even with the new update, however when you want to use your mobile phone's build in GPS receiver, then you no longer have a key because your Bluetooth key is disconnected. Then you gotta buy that key from Garmin. Call them, buy it, you won't be disappointed. I think it is 100 bucks or something.

i am connected via wifi but cannot use windows live messenger it gives me an connection error unable to establish connection to the internet when i am confirmed connected via wifi?
hmmm for some reason i am having a problem flashing this rom to my tilt. Once it boots up from putting the rom on the phone gets stuck at the HTC screen, the furthest i can bring it from there is a screen thats all pixelated. any ideas what i could be doing wrong? the is the first time i have had problems installing any rom

Weirdly, my keyboard seems to be very unresponsive with this one. It keeps missing out characters when I type; button presses don't register.

Think it might have settled down a little now. Applied some performance tweaks using Advanced Config too.
Regardless, nice work Gullum. It's probably the best looking rom I've used so far, and it's got a nice set of features. It doesn't feel like the fastest I've used, but I'll give it a few days to gauge stability thanks to its looks!

One important thing I noticed - by default OK is closing everything, which is why the ROM felt slow.
Start - QuickMenu - Option - and untick "ok key to close program". I also turned of the X-Button tick.
Seems a lot snappier now - as it should be, it's not having to reopen apps all the time.
And it really does look stunning

A lot of Diamond Programs are causing problems, so a majority were removed. If you want to have them you can download the beta cabs throughout the forum
Diamond Album was removed due to the problem with the landscape mode and other slideshow problems. Will place back into the rom once it is working properly.
Fixed the annoying landscape problem when messaging!!!!
No more screen flickering when in standby for awhile

Well, it's running pretty well for me so far. I removed a load of bits and added a few packages for my own personal taste, and it's about as solid as any Kaiser ROM I've used - and possibly a little quicker.

That was my purpose of leaving in the .rgu's and proxml files.... Its a start, I basically wanted a basic ROM with a few goodies, now I am working on customizing the look with my new Adobe CS3 software
There must be something not right with .net. I tried installing .new 2.0 along with 3.5 and I am not able to some of my applications like banakarama and Schaps adv. config.
"cannot open "*". A critical component missing.....
My text goes away when I used the slide our keyboard. I can't see what I'm typing or options in drop-down menus and stuff like that.

I'm not sure why bankarama is not working....just tried myself and got the same error message????
ABout Shaps Adv Config use the Kaiser Tweak installed already in the tools menu and it works fine. Personally I like Kaiser Tweak better as if something changes you only need to change the XML file.....

Thanks for the imput....didn't even notice that when I tried....just so used to using my stylus now I don't use the keyboard that much. I"ll look into that also......

i had the same problem but ive come to notice that only happen when u have the cleartype turned on for landscape mode , im guessing its an issue with the roms cuz ive had the same issue with more dan one....... try turning off the clear type and im sure ull see some improvement
ROM has a very nice feel to it. After trying several PP sizes, it works fastest for me set to dynamic. No issues to report as yet. Good job...
I really like this rom. Everything working very well no problem. There was a little issue on MS VC, I fixed it.

No other radio works only 1.65

I found that the following apps make a good roundup for the new OS brought to us by Cotulla (big master of Magician )
1. Esmertec Jbed 20081203.2.1 (on this forum i think?) - since i assigned rotate screen to the tape' button it's wow all the time
2.PocketCM keyboard finger typing possible now
3. Gougele PE XnWiev Pocket it makes *.gif play in view and slideshow
4. Tascalsoft TRE and PHM regedit a better regedit?
5. Opera mini 4.2 supreme efficiency: web content compressed
6. UCWEB 6.3 works flawlessly even better than Opera Mini(tm) IMO
7. Finger menu works also (less need for the pen) but seems to mess with few registry editor menus?
8. Adobe's acrobat 2.0 for win2003 works on WM6.1
9. GoogleMaps work (direct download)
10. rlToday here is the thread awesome this small!!!

I tried the UCWEB 6.3 browser and it's astonishing!

The flash player for 2003 seems to hang the 6.1 OS - soft reset required...

It is extended rom taken from swampy WM6.1 rom(special thnx to Swampy).
Install the cabs in the folder according to the arrangement of the numbers to get exact working
Manilla 2D.

I think this is taking too much memory if the magician is just 64 mb, even installing all items in storage card.
I would definitely prefer Home 2, or SCLPC++.
yes taking about 30 mega with accessories but its ok, manilla 2d is better that any programs,may be sbp shell good too,but manilla 2d better, may be if wm 6.5 will release on magician that will solve this problem.
i have PDA2K wm6.5 21189 it is not needs manilla 2d,because of new good internal progs comes with the wm 6.5,so we didnot need manilla 2d.
and also i have the magician wm 6.1 contains manilla 2d and the tow devices have 18 megs free internal memory.
can we use TF3D on magician?

Iàm using it too. But do you fix the Problem with the Picture Tab? I can`t see any Pictures at the TAB (No Picture Available).
Guys, how do you install manilla2d on SD-Card? What software are you using for CABs under wm6.1 on magician?
no chance for install manilla 2d on sd memory because it requires high speed storage,so internal storage is recommended.
About software,there are many programs used in WM6.1:
1. in backup or restore: ppc PIM backup and restore.
2. in video applications: core player, tcpm player ,real player.
3. in audio applications: pocket player.
4. in explorer applications: resco explorer, total commander.
5. in keyboard system: vito zoom board,finger keyboard.
5. in image viewing: pocket cm image viewer.
6. in control setting: advanced config. v3.3.
7. in system & support programs: netcf 3.5, flash light 3.1.
8. in navigation system: garmin 5.00.2
9. in documentation: microsoft office 6.1(word,excel,power point,note),adobe acrobat reader.
10. in tv applications: web tv.
11. shut down program: ps shut xp.
12. in wifi control: ewf pocket pc.
13. in lock device: sus2, throttle lock.
14. manilla 2d and its main components.
15. small programs like: battery indicator, htc enlarge start menu.
16. support bluetooth program: dr.yar bluetooth 1.6
there are alotof dictionaries, games, accessories, but this is the important programs for any pocket pc.
homam_france, what program are using for installing cabs?
I use SkTools, but sometimes get problems installing cabs on SD-Card, as I get corrupted folders. In case of Manila2D, I get folders like "manilaprogram files" and "manilawindows" and the program doesn't work.
install it in sd ram by resco exlorer or by total commander.
dont use any software related to 2003 system.

resco and commander cannot process cabs internally. Only by winmobile. Winmobile has problems installing on SD.

SKTools is not "2003 only"
u did not understand me.
put the original cabs in the sd memory then install it at the main storage.u cannot install manilla 2d on sd ram, try to install them in the internal memory not on the external memory(sd ram).
You said previously "internal storage is recommended" that's why I thought SD is possible too. Nevermind

This ROM have preinstalled apps: 1calc, pmcleansp, documents to go, messenger, resco explorer, celetask, internet sharing, registry editor, java, notepadx, smartsearch, sim manager.
NEW Start Menu icons, NEW MediaTopBar, lots of Free RAM ( 24.70MB after SR, 26.77MB after killing AS), >36MB Free Main Memory (at clean system)
Bad mapping ID (Fn+h don't give EURO) - repair: go to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010409\ an change MappingID to 0x410(1040)

I have flashed this version and there is no wifi Button in wireless manager !!

I am running crazy soft resetting the device but i have no luck to activate wifi.
Perhaps the wifi clients in the i600 are different.
Quick review
I will start with a quick review for the ones that are not familiar with WM6.5 EN 20100401 by py8.
The homescreen come with included Titanium panels, the Declacy Panel and the Card Wheel from WM6.0.
Preinstalled apps: MSN Messenger, Windows live, Java emulator, NotepadX, Adobe Reader LE, Dataviz Documents to Go (Word, Excel and SlideShow), 1calc, PmCleanSP.
CeleTask is present as Task Manager, Resco File Explorer as default explorer, and Resco Registry Editor.
Contacts has integrated Sim Manager for backup and restore.
This shabudabu version brings a new look for that ROM.
With new icons in start menu, even is not animated and with a new top status bar (battery, signal, profile, new message...) shabudabu give to old i600 new look.
Problems to solve:
- In my case, the WiFi is not show in Wireless Manager not even after a hard reset with a clean ROM.
- Today, my phone freeze during a call (no sound in conversation), worked after a soft reset. This strange "bug" (i don't know is anybody had the same problem) that appears sometimes was also present in old shabudabu version.

Suggestions:
The shortcuts from py8 was ok. If you can at long press or message key to change light to "level 1" instead to turn off the keyboard it would be great.
Resco Photo viewer as default photo viewer.

I like this rom. I installed few minutes ago, i dont have a big problem yet... Wifi enabled and worked on my i600..
I cannot install shazam from market place... when i try to install, shazam gives "there is no support GDI+" error.
