UPDATE:
Until we figure this issue out.....(It works Just the same regardless)
THIS IS HOW YOU FLASH THIS ROM:
1)Flash it WITHOUT WIPING, over your most recent damage, nandroided damage,or a damage based rom.
2)Now just set it up and make a new nandroid and you wont have to do that again.
Thats It....it works the exact same way. but even after i get everything working proper, if you follow these steps you wont have to do anything further, unless you really want to wipe all your stuff and reinstall everything, that will be your choice but it WILL not necessary
Sorry this took so long but i cannot fix this issue myself yet, if anyone can help PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE pm me I put some hard work into this one and i really need it to work properly, i had this issue once before and i just swapped out another update script and my problem disappeared, so im pretty sure thats what the problem is here, but i dont want every one to have to keep waiting if the way to get it is basically easier(by easier i mean you dont even have to wipe before flashing it)than it is to flash a new rom
I was practicing putting together an update zip theme for the new thread nebenezer started and I just ended up with this rom because mods are easier for me to make. I am working on a BlackThearmo edition for this rom as well. It will be in update.zip form. Thearmo did not help me(so please do not insult him if you hate it,that would be MY fault) I altered some of his Thearmo theme i thought was really clean and finished looking, and then added it along with a few other goodies to my favorite rom. If you are coming from a Damage just flash over, if you have problems....you know the drill.

Yeah,Yeah, i know its a buttload of red(its my favorite color) so if you dont like red, and you flash it please dont complain about the RED. Also, if you have any complaints or negative comments, jot them down on a piece of paper, get an envelope with your addy on it,put the paper in the envelope, and mail it to yourself.

Looks pretty cool! You should use the clear taskbar icons that I made so u don't have the square color deviations in the taskbar. You can download them in zip format from the bottom of my thread. Also, not sure if you based it off my newest theme, but I uploaded a new version yesterday that already includes the clear taskbar icons. Hope that helps! Great work and God bless!

UPDATE
This Mod is like DamageR_2.7 ULT editionI wouldve just updated, but
there are ALOT of changes so it is separate. Same deal as with
DamageR though, all the fixxes in 1 rom; so it is large, i spent yesturday slimming it
down, i knocked off 10mb. Takes ave 8-9min. for initial boot,from then
on its business as usual. If you are coming from DamageR just flash over
Any other than damage based you should wipe. For those that dont like
certain theme elements check attatchments for stock flashbacks.... Feedback is welcome:

alot cooler theme Its my H3r0 Theme & dialer plus an optimized version of

When i first started this i didnt realize i couldve made them opaque, so i
just patterned the stat bar and made it 30% transparent so i could see
the clock. When i was going through everything i was looking for all the
rosie and jog buttons. ill have to go back and find them again, so i just
put it up and ill get it when i get a chance.....Its not as easy to fix them
for me as it is for you, im 5days into themes so give me a week or two

I like to keep things new, so i had to switch it up I was working on
one with optimus prime transforming from a truck into a robot(to keep with
the transformers theme) but i have to mess with it a little more....also i was
leaving in the original kb too, but when i slimmed it down i had to choose....and i
like the aosp one better now,seems a little more accurate. Glad you like it
so far, pm me and ill get you a cool kb. Also before DamageR i made a
vanilla mod, that im revamping with what i know now. If you are not a sense
fan you would like this one. The bootscreen from that one is my favorite.
its called 3-d mod. Also if you want another boot screen you have another
one in the system/media folder, just use file explorer go into the folder
rename it bootanimation.zip and change the name of the other one by a
letter or # and you will have another bootscreen

If you want...i have clear taskbar icons available for themers to use. They are on my Thearmo page, at the bottom under the add-ons. Download them, and drop them into your res folder, and viola! you wont have those black squares around your task bar icons anymore!

I was happy with it and im currently working on alot of new projects....all my roms are generally an advance in my work and skills....but i support my mods and anyone that dls them 100% so if i cant make you something better or you dont like any of my new stuff, what would you like to see done to OptimusRom? I saw damages newest release yesturday, so i put this little mod together for myself so i could check it out. I can never just flash the plain rom anymore, w/o modding it first, so when im done i just take out the paid apps and then ul for others that may like it. pps were asking me for a green mod so this is what i did. Its damage, just skinned with a new rosie,htc weather clock,themed lockbar,status bar header,status bar bottom, and changed font to comfortaa. I also fixed my EVO modded main nav scroller.Make sure you check out the new suped up dconfig ui. its sharp.

if it this is based on 3.2.2, that one has bugs. Newest DC version is 3.2.2.1
I'd love to try this out but unfortunately I can't seem to do download it on any of the mobile browsers I've got. I keep downloading a really small .dat file. Can anyone upload it somewhere else? It would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, i can do that, i used to hate the factory rosie but now i love it because i can do SO many things to it. To a mod freak like me, thats where its @. The other rosie is pretty basic. I like to replace it using my own shapes, but if you want it what color? my buddy drew wants it too. Colors are pretty limited to Black or a type of green between dark green and neon green. Lemme know. Glad you like it.

The easiest way to do that and the way i do, is to get ur setup perfect, then nandroid. Verify the nandroid. WIPE. Flash the new rom. Set it up to ur liking. Nandroid. REPEAT(this requires some space on sd and hd to backup).I wish it was that easy. If i could whip them up id have every color When i have some inspiration, ill be working on a blue next, if i have time maybe ill try and spit out two themes @ once. pm you when its/they are finished.
Like i explained in ops, i setup the whole rom so you get everything working the way its supposed to. Easier on everyone. If you dont like my work, just nandroid.You wont need it any time soon though

You can get it but on phone it is rather difficult to dl a 180mb file w/o corrupting the dl by slow data transfer speeds & combo of what type of sd you have it saving to. I can gurantee it works from pc and that is your best bet. I cant count the roms ive dl'd but never once have i dl'd with phone directly. I actually assume it would not complete and just waste my time. Sorry about that. If i knew another way id gladly share. If you have any other issues ill try my best to get you up and running.

Download and rename to .zip.
You can then open it with 7zip or winrar and peek inside.

sense sucks(except for some of the widgets) so dont worry about doing anything w/ sense...as much red as we can get for cm6 would be great...i would try to do some stuff w/ the status bar like changing the 3g/wifi icons, the time, also i like that battery icon that was on your other red customization (the circular red one)...just a few suggestions, i will try to think of some more...thanks dude, your stuff is badass!

I'm kinda leaning toward theming that Rom... 2.2 with sense is pretty nice, plus I don't see issues with cm6 getting fixed anytime soon. Im so torn between the two roms, cm has trackball wake and customization for long pressing the home button but the new 2.2 rom has internal storage and may have a working camera soon.
I should've put a little more thought into that poll... opinions anyone?
I think you should work on the most functional roms first. That way your time won't go to waste, you'd be theming a Rom that no ones going to be using. Thinking you should really go with sky raider for now.
And I agree about the launcher on sense its the main reason I don't use sense ui. Wait till a real stable cm 6 comes out then make a bada** theme for it.. ill get your kid some nice power rangers if u do!

What are the chances you could package a red themed NexusMod live wallpaper with your red theme? In particular the wallpaper from the droid. That would be sick, and I can't find the damn wallpaper anyway.

if you mean the one in the launcher, i used the launcher in the base theme rather than my modded decepticon launcher cus it was all purple even though the folders for it are better,i didnt take the time to swap out the colors. i made my own too. thought i gave credit for this one but if i missed you im sorry. im not trying to take credit for anything that i have not done myself. all i did was

if you were joking about the wifi icon, i just use the original for the app...

for what ive seen the base of the theme came from incforum, but i saw somthing awesome you did with miui(settings screen) but i never used it cus i cant do that myself.....(me and .9's=F A I L)

it is the device you are viewing with. the 1st comment verifies that the pics are viewable to others.
Can I ask a silly question? What Google Search widget is that? I've been looking for 1x2 one instead of a 1x4 one. 5th Screen shot for reference.

the border on those folders and widget box are 100% from my ios theme it looks like whomever started their own theme just replaced the inside with their own textured background

sorry bout that, ill credit you in the op, and then ill replace with the ones i made myself soon as i get a chance. im really sorry about that. i will use my launcher, its not that i cant do that myself. i posted the first miui theme for evo 3hrs after i flashed it...i made the ones for my launcher way back then...i will kang to save time,not to steal cred for others work. i dont care about credit for w/e i do, i care about providing more choices for users.
my folders look like this, but figured more would like yours(less over the top)
mine are just a black onyx style
also, i never ran your theme; i really dont like the iphone style so i tried to change everything about the looks because i like the speed of miui,not the iphone feel. i cant give pps the launcher i use cus its paid, so i tried to just get rid of the wood crap. i will up my launcher because of this issue. i search xda but i do not keep up with everything and i never looked @ yours because i was going another route with my themes for miui. mine are metal based, yours are ios....once again im sorry for not giving credit but either way i could redo the whole launcher in the time it took me to write this, and a new folder would take a few seconds.

install lpp and you can resize any widget to your liking

im on it, fam keeps me busy....halloween was fun though ....im working on it now, ill link you as soon as i finish in a bit.
just finished update. below ive posted some screens of the launcher edits i just made:
will be up after some friends finish testing....also testing kernels. this update is made to flash over 1.29miui build.if you want to flash the whole rom pm and ill link you for testing.
if you would like to test:
you will need to wipe then flash the rom and report your findings.

I have been working on porting this over for the last week now, but just to fail miserably at it. I got to decompile the framework-res and compare all the files from both versions (CM7 7.0.2 for DHD and the one from the theme) replacing most of the resources, but when I flash it on my device, it boots and seems to work, until you press the menu button on any system app, then it makes it FC. Switching WiFi on and off doesn't make the device hot restart anymore as it did by just flashing the theme straight from the OP at the EVO's themes here.
If I was to attach the flashable zip that I created, would anyone be able to take a look at it and see what it is that I did wrong and maybe correct it?? I also noticed that the progress_horizontal animation just shows the wait animation (spinning circle when the system loads something).
It would be awesome if someone could get this theme ported!
I was able to port this successfully but haven't had a chance to put the files together in a flashable zip. Will do that in my spare time since I'm back at work.
