I don't know what I did, but now when I try to open Comm Manager the background stays the same as whatever I was in previous to opening it and in the top right hand area of the screen it says WLAN on top of whatever was there, then when I try to move the cursor it types all the other options directly on top of the first words, so all I get is a jumbled mess.
I can still access everything, by quessing what icon I am on and clicking on it. Once I click on it I still get to the correct screen (if applicable), it is just the main Comm Manager screen that doesn't show up.
The only thing I have done is installed a few home screens.
Any ideas how to fix it?
Try to uninstall home screens you have installed, or "Paul's HTC S710 de-Brand Pack" if you have installed it.
What rom do you have?
That first one (before you edited your post) was the problem.
Thanks a lot
please tell me what is the fix for this, same problem here, thanks.
most probably uninstalling paul's debranding pack solved his problem.
Clicking Start, Programs no longer brings up the Programs list on my Fuze. Instead, it takes me to the "Home" screen in TouchFlo (as if I had pressed the Home button.)
I think the Start menu link became "broken" after running \Windows\folderview.exe. (I was hoping to create a shortcut to the list of Programs.) Also, when running folderview.exe, the Programs list has 3 columns of icons...the 4-column tweak doesn't work with folderview.exe. However, clicking Start, Settings still works, and the tweak to enable 4 columns of icons is in effect for the list of Settings icons.
Does anyone have any clue as to what might have happened and how I might be able to fix it (short of performing a hard reset!) I've performed several soft resets to no avail....
Thanks for any help/suggestions!
Travis
possible solution
Try to open it in landscape mode (with keyboard out). If it works, you need to disable Large Start Menu in TouchFlo settings, it tends to freeze in portrait mode when you have too many shortcuts in the start menu. (you can alternatively remove somme shortcuts but the limit is way too low for my tastes )
Hope this helps
[Solved] Clicking Start, Programs won't open Programs list
Wonderful!!!! That fixed it. I guess the problem wasn't related to folderview.exe after all. Thanks so much!
i just got my new touch pro after having an xv6800 and love the new phone and im doing pretty well as far as making custom changes, but my question is how and or were do i go to remove or delete the lock programs in the program menu, so i can add my own.
thanks chris
as far as I know you can't. If you are looking to remove the bloatware(Stock Stuff) you can do a search for it.

Thanks for the help, ill do a search for bloatware,
as you said you prolby cant do it, in that case is thier an application were i can atleast add to the program list, since the program list is know full
Thanks Chris
If you are asking about the programs on the start menu do the following: Press Start > Settings > Menu. Remove the check marks from the programs you no longer want on the menu. Add a check mark to the ones you want on the menu.

that means u want to re-map your softkeys ... google and use software called "Advance Config" to re-map your "Program" and also to check the destination where the "Program" leads you to
i actually had that program all ready on my phone, i opened up the program and "restore all settings" and still when im on the home screen and click on programs on the bottom right corner it still brings up the TF3d menu then goes back to the home screen.
were do i go in ether advance config or my reg editor, to see were the program button might be launching to.
Thanks for your help i really appreciate it, i really don't want to reset my phone back to the way it was when i first bought it
I know everyone has probably been looking into this but I think that I have found a way to remove the taskbar on the HDmini lock screen.
1) Plug miniUSB into phone
2) Connect to computer via active sync
3) Hit the "start" hardware button
4) Hit "Lock" at bottom left
5) It is now gone.
Though this is temporarily, it will come back very fast! I do not know of a way to make it go away permanently. If anyone have any suggestions, please let us know.

Mate,
I am also looking for the same thing but couldn't find any ... Will try again & let you now if I could find anything
+ 1!
Now this would be nice!
My experience is that the taskbar shows in the lockscreen when it was visible atm the device was locked. Invoke the lockscreen from a fullscreen-app and the taskbar will not be visible.
Personally, I prefer having the taskbar visible when the device is locked, but maybe it's possible to wrap the mini-lockscreen with some dummy-app that hides the taskbar using mortscript?
how to...
handy..
copy the pbannerbar.png manually to windows folder

you are wrong. that only makes the bg for the slider transparent, not the taskbar at the top.
Re-bump . Still looking for it.

I don't know, how.but if you'd sniff with a registry comparer before and after changing it via your method, you can look for the necessary registry changes.
Any body get this fixed yet?
I have accidentally opened up a menu that I have never been able to do before (or again). I think I was long pressing something but I am not sure.
Anyways, at the bottom of the screen, there was what looked like a speech bubble with 5 icons inside of it. Looked a lot like the menu in ICS. I don't know how I did it and I have been trying to do it again. Anyone know what I am talking about?
Thanks,
Mike
