use G-alarm. v1.5.1 is free but v2.x are not.
For reset there's an app called Schedulereset on freewareppc, but it may not work on some custom roms. You might wanna try that first.
I use CT Scheduler Lite, in conjunction with JDB HD2 softreset...that one allows u to schedule apps to run at a certain timing.
thanks everybody!

When I used a blackberry, it had an "auto-turnoff" function that would turn off the device from say 2am to 7am.
Is there a way to do this for windows mobile? CT scheduler looks promising but is for smartphones only.
Are there slick ways to already do this?
I know about setting an appointment and using an automatic profile, but I would prefer something less... dependent on my remembering to set my profile before I got to bed.
Thanks in advance for any help!
try this
it does what u wish.
Thanks! I have it loaded and will try it out. Few questions:
Does it need to remain in memory or can I close it?
Does it work with CDMA phones?
I will probably figure them out sooner or later.

When I tried this app on my QTek 8500 (StrTrk) running WM6.1 Clean, it produced an error relating to Forms. Maybe it wasn't meant for WM6 or something. Does anyone know of a different, preferrablly free, program that I can use to set my phone to switch on/off the "phone" feature at certain times?
SPB Mobile Phone. It has it's own profile settings. You can choose to run it automatically on any specific time. It is not free though but very useful. It has a today plug-in with all the necessary icons to control the system.
Hi,
Is there any program or any way to catch user idle time, i,e., get the value of the idle timer counter for wm5/6 system?
Thanks!
For exapmle: uptimemeter or aebuttonplus

Thank you.
The above two softwares only show the uptime from the last softreset. What I mean is the counter the system uses to monitor users' activities and decides to switch off the backlight or suspend the device.
Hi there,
i searched for something like that, too.
If you can develop with C i can send you a library for that
I'm looking for a free gtd app that will let me easily specify custom recurrences. For instance, after trying several apps I can only specify recurrences for every day, every week, every month, etc. I found doit.im that let's me specify every 2 days or 3 days or whatever number I enter but the app seems a tad clunky. Maybe I just need to get used to it. Anybody know
of a good one that has a widget and allows for recurring tasks that I can schedule for every other day and every three days etc?
I have Astrid, maybe it allows for that and i'm just not figuring it out. Thanks for suggestions.

Ok, im a nincompoop. I figured out how to use Astrid to specify every other day tasks. Anybody know if there is a way to only show on the widget what is due today?
EDIT:: lmao! I spoke too soon again.I found the 'hide until' option in Astrid. Mods, feel free to close/delete this sorry excuse of a topic my sorry.

It's pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions. Sometimes you need to Light reset the watch after installing everything to get the notifications working correctly but that is easy as well.
As far as applications go, the one that is an unsung hero for me is Brrrr so that the watch buzzes when I walk away from my phone. It works fine so long as you add its widget to your list (this will make sense once you play with the watch for a bit).

Just realized this is probably not going to work completely as my biggest issue was vibrate mode not being set properly...
Will work on solutions tomorrow
This is going to be a very rough draft of what I got here.
Long story short, Silent mode doesn't work on Lollipop and beyond, Thanks Google
Therefore Llama is borked.
Simple fix will try to make better later (I am no programmer for sure), for now this is my simple solution.
I know this doesn't allow you to quickly change phone to silent but it does allow you to at least let Llama do it for you.
Also I've only tested this on Lollipop, Time willing I'm going to attempt to get this working on Marshmallow tomorrow or later this week.
3 simple apps made in Tasker that implement the new Do Not Disturb Mode, that can be run in Llama.
To get working:
1. Install desired Apps
2. Grant Notification Access
3. Add a new action to llama
4. Select Run Application
5. Select 1 of the 3 attached apps depending on what you want to happen.
Will post pics later but I think it's pretty self explanatory if you use Llama
Future plans:
1 app where you can call the activities of the app instead of running an actual app.
A button that opens Notification access so you can enable the app.

This is working for me on stock LG lollipop 5.1.1. I will test and see if I notice any excess battery drain due to the notification listener service. Thanks for helping fix Google's mess up.
If you want I can play around with this some more but I finally gave up on Llama
Llama is dead Hasn't been updated 11/21/2014 So I've switched over to Tasker utilizing wifi
I'm thinking of trying to figure out how to make my own app that can possibly launch tasker tasks but using a similar cell tower scanning/saving system as llama but right now I don't have the time or know how.
Ok I've played and I think I figured it out!
If you select run app shortcut in lama, you can run tasker tasks from there!
I might be bringing llama back!

I've been thinking if switching to tasker but have been using llama for years and everything is see up. I know you can run intents and locale plugins. Don't know if there is a way to use those features. So far your apks are work well for me. I think I have everything set up right. Thanks again.
I know what you mean

Hey man, please bring Llama back. This is the best profile app i've ever seen: fast to set, easy to config, no-battery draining and very useful.

Hey dude, thanks for yours good will, but i wrote that hoping that somebody would continue the development for this app or similar for the whole community. Unfortunately i don't have skills to do this, but just looking how many times Llama was downloaded from Google Play you can see this is an incredible app everybody likes. It is useful and easy to setup... I am very sad since it don't work properly in newer android versions. :crying: Already sent e-mails to Kebab Apps but no answer, this is a great lose for everybody since this app was unique.
So far I've only installed Android studio
I've written alot in Java but never touched Android code. We'll see if I can figure it out. Don't have alot of spare time on my hands so we'll see what I can do.
