is there any way to turn back light on only with power off button? because now my HTC Mega turn on the light with other button 2, for example(windows, home )exct. ...

after messing with custom roms and finally going back to stock has anyone ever noticed the power button to wake up the screen dosent always work
sometimes when i press the four red keys light up but the screen dosent
after pressing the power button again keys go off then if i press power again it works as it should ??

I bought 1 htc one x from ebay, but when I turn on the phone, the screen displays the draw pattern to unlock. I read th solution hard reset, but when I hold the power button and volume down, the screen does not display the bootlander, only the blink the three buttons below, anyone can help me? thanks a lot.
Hold down power and vol down until lights blink, then release power while holding vol down.
So I wanted to root my Iview 795TPC tablet by holding Volume up button + power while turning it on.
it just keeps turning on then off until I tried it with 4 or 5 attempts, it wont turn on anymore.
but if I look at it at a bright room or point it with a flash light, I noticed that the screen changes when holding the power button.or connecting the charger
to Dark Green - if the screen is all black, holding the power button at 10 seconds will make the screen go dark green
to Black - if the screen is Dark Green, it will turn black if I connect the charger or if I hold the power button 3 seconds.
im guessing that the device is turned on when the screen is black and off if the screen is dark green
Hi, I have an htc 8x, it wont turn up, and when i plug in the ac charger,red light starts to flash, no life signals, if i push power button and vol down or just power button , it vibrates, stop flashing, and then restarts to flash. (
The LED light is blinking (slow), i touch the screen, push the power button and volume buttons and the phone will turn on. I have to plug the charger or usb so the screen can come on. I swipe the screen, push the power/volume buttons and phone will revert back to black screen. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the phone!

To force the phone to turn off hold down the power button (and ONLY the power button) for a count of 10 seconds....the phone WILL power off as it's a hardware function...however if you have the phone plugged into power it may reboot right after back into your rom. While disconnected from power it will stay off. You may need to do a factory reset to get rid of whatever is causing your rom to act that way.
