title pretty much says it all.. is there any such app to do this? i like how sense on android devices allows you to change.. would be cool if you could do the same for winmo/sense

Hey guys, I am searching for a clock widget. It has to be a clock that has moving, exposed gears that actually rotate. I believe the style is called tourbillon.
I searched the market and searched for downloadable .apk's but I have found nothing for what I am looking for.
There is an app in the market that looks like the clock I want, but it doesn't have moving gears. Here's a picture of what i'm looking for, and a market link for the one that doesn't work, so you have a good Idea of what i'm looking for.

Here is a market link to a clock I found that has moving gears, but it is super slow, really choppy, and is a live wallpaper, not a widget.

Android does not support animation on the desktop.(unless a home manager does)
Unless you fake the animation, which means refreshing the widget and wasting battery.

By home manager, do you mean something such as LauncherPro, ADWLauncher or something like that? I am using launcher pro at the moment. At this point I would be ok with the clock being a live wallpaper, so long as it is smooth and fluid.
Widgets can not be animated (to my knowledge)

The Sense clock widget of HTC phones have an animation. And the clock of Regina Launcher too.

Yeah I second that. I had analog clock with an animated second hand at one point. Obviously it is possible to have animated Widgets.

Has anyone made a clock like this yet?
It is possible to use animation in a widget, see my clock for instance, which does not consume battery power at all.
I love my backgrounds, I have 40 or so that I'm always adding to and use Wall Switch to switch them out every 15 minutes. I'd like to have some indication of weather via LWP for fun, but I haven't seen any way to combine the two.
Anyone seen a weather LWP that lets you specify your own backgrounds, preferably automatically switching them out periodically? I've looked around can't find anything..

A widget sounds like it would work better in this case? I'm assuming you want something displaying the current weather along with a new wallpaper and such?

I have weather widgets but was thinking it could be possible to overlay wallpaper with weather. Selective darkening, lightening, etc.
The app I use to change wallpaper is called Wall Switch. Hasn't updated in a while but still works pretty good. I should look for a replacement at some point.

I feel honored to begin:
First things first: I love miui- metro style (means simple, squared, cornered icons! *_*) So my first impression was: beautiful!
Also the indicators are nice, i never saw it like this before.
The icons could be more simple (the "phone" icon has stripes at the background, but thats for sure a theming task.... There are no themes yet i think, and default theme could support more icons
About preferences i have not much to say, as long as its nice you dont need more settings
what ypu could add anyways: launcher direction (horizontal/ vertical),
dock background, faster scrolling, thatvthe appdrawer always starts at beginning (needs less ram i think and less orientation^^)
Is it thought to use Miui themes? just an idea...
Perofmance is simply awsome and smooth, id like faster desktop scrolling but thats all...

Add3: now i managed with the themer, there are many themes, also for lockscreen (which takes only 6mb of ram, thats exactly the same as the normal lockscreen) unfortunately in every lockscreen theme has to be anything in chinese maybe im gonna how to change this....

Add2: now i noticed an app called tapashot, seems like one can download themes, wallpapers, lockscreens and apps there, im not sure because themes/ apps and categories are in chinese, only settings menu is english....

I am after an app which will change my lockscreen image after "x" minutes. I have the "Wallpaper Changer" app which works well for the wallpaper, but it doesn't affect the lockscreen.
What app's can anyone recommend? is "LockerPro Lockscreen" worth a try?

You can use: "go locker ex" . Multiple background for everything you want. I can also recommend "Go launcher EX", which is an app where you can download multiple themes for your app, like IOs, glass, maya and uncoutable others (btw automaticly changing pictures or moving backgrounds will drown your battery VERY fast, just sayin

There are so many apps in play store but Go locker is best safe and trustworthy.

You mentioned auto changing lock screen images drain battery. My plan is for just 2 or 3 changes per day. Would that affect the battery much?
Go Locker and Lock Screen Pro don't seem to have the option for time lock screen image changes. Am I missing something?
