I like this fashion with bios animation startup screens, some members made really nice animations of this type and I really enjoy them. However, inspired by their work, I decided to create an animation too. This is what it came out:

The animation contains 59 frames, each one in high DPI, which will give a shiny look to your startup sequence. I know there's place for some improvements, but this is it for now. I will upgrade it or come with another versions.
For now, this cab has no startup sound or static splash screen, only the gif file and some tweaks. The gif speed is set to 68. If you notice that the playing is too fast and the gif doesn't reach the final frame, just go to HKLM>Software>HTC>HTCAnimation>GifSpeed and change the value inside as needed.

BTW: could You give us a short lecture how to do this ? (I fly an UL-Gyroplane and having a startup-screen with a spinning gyroplane-rotors would be also fun to me)
Oau... a gyro-plane... nice! I'm also a flying fanatic, I flew gliders couple years ago, but because of bussy college dutties I didn't got my flying licence.
OnTopic: creatig a startup animation it's not difficult, but requires time, as you have to manually create each frame. For a animation to play smooth you'll be needing around 50-60 frames, so it's quite a work.
Send me a PM with a link to a photo of the type of gyro-plane you fly. If possible, and if I get enough time, I'll make a custom animation for you with the gyro. Greets!

There's no need to do the artwork with the photos. One or two photos and a written idea of how you'd like the animation is enough.

That looks absolutely beautiful. Kudos. Lots of kudos. However, is it required to unlock via the Menu button or multiple unlocks? I didn't see any sliding things of that nature.

That is album art, not a wallpaper. But I guess you can use it as a wallpaper for your phone.

This lockscreen is going to be the business! Is it still going to retain the finger pattern unlock scheme (connect the dots) as well?
I have an idea for Icons, quick links, notifications, slider, and bottom soft key bar that I would like to see come to life.
The problem is, I'm not a dev, I do not have Photo shop, and if I ran out and bought it, I would'nt know how to use it.

Hey, you dont need to create a whole theme for this i guess, you already have all the tools in this forum to do so. E.g Just use Hello00's glossy theme and a glass icon set, then use the above globe image as your background.
See my screenshot, the clock is hel00s gloss clock and the icons are Dinik's Anastasia set if i remember correctly. It will look sweet with the globe.
Try and out and let us know how u get on.

But, I was thinking of making the images for the glass icons in an etched look, and doing the rest of the elements IE, soft bar, slider, clock, ect etched as well. The flip clock is probibly already out there (or something close to it) and shouldnt take to much to do.
The rest how ever would take a lot of PS time.

Very nice concept, far beyond my abilty, but I will look forward to a capable designer to create these.
its not so easy...you have to know 3d editing...like 3d max...there is a 3d ball and a texture placed on it. it looks only good...because the globe texture need to be round...but if you place something not round...like home...it gonna look horrible.
honestly, I was not seeing a 3D image in my mind. more like taking your Anastasia template and putting a etched image in the layers representing the app.
The idea of a 3D image would look nice, but be a lot of work.

Excellent news. There is something I´ve been missing these past couple of months... There is a lot developing around widgets, which is great, but I also like your idea of "picking up" the ol´classic theme work and "skinning" what´s already available
If you want to know wht´s the "closest" definition for an "official CHT Theme", please have a look at "CHTWidget_Basic.xml". There you will find what "CoOkie" defined as CHT Theme. There are still some files not listed, but CHTS beta Team is testing a new file, so this could be set as "standard".
If you should have any questions about these files, simply "drop us a PM or post", or a vist at any of the "CHT Suite Threads"

I have attempted to create one in the past but not to my satisfaction. So I am looking for a talented graphic artist to create a Boot animation and Live wallpaper or Static Wallpaper. Specifics below:
For the Boot animation I would like to start with the HTC Logo and have it burst into flames and drop ash in a pile on the Glass ground with a black background. Then from the Ashes a Phoenix rises and flaps it wings a couple times then the image goes static with the Text appearing as Android and Phoenix below.
For the wallpaper the Phoenix risen with Android and Phoenix below in text. For a live wallpaper the phoenix in the hover position with the Wings flapping and fire and ash falling from it.
Please post here or in a PM. I am working on a MikMik Theme for the sense 3.0 verson and would love to have this supplement it.

Umm, I hope you don't mind my sticking my 2¢ in your space. While this seems completely wicked...I not so sure you realize the amount of time and talent your asking of someone. Plus you might want to state up front whether your going to compensate them for their talent or are asking them to do this pro bono.

looks really good. The app is having the same issues as my live wallpapers. I don't get the scrolling effect. All that I can see is: See attachment. You can see that I have my screen scrolled all the way to the left but the wallpaper remains centered.
This is a common issue for me also on Jellybean. It seems samsung and others have opted out of scrolling wallpapers. So those people that download it will only get to see the first ( center ) screen.
My live wallpapers are plagued by this to at least yours looks decent when on Jellybean it gets centered. Some of mine are way off to the left or right.
I had to add this notice to some of mine to stop people from buying and canceling all day lol.

It's true that samsung disabled the wallpaper scrolling on their phones (why the frack would they choose to disable one of the best features of the android UI is beyond me) and that may confuse the user a lot.
