i have the following problem - Omnia II:
during a call, when pushing the left side volume keys, to increase the volume, it is activating the top right big icons bar instead.
how to disable the top right big icons bar? ie, when touching battery icon, then not the big bar, but only one the battery icon.
how to disable samsung volume wheel? or how to increase the time of it?
any kind soul might help

i searched in the registry, but failed to catch the proper to modify
i know it is like the big title bar in HTC, but could not find it in Omnia

You can get volume icon back if you replace "BatteryIndicator.exe".

Not sure what do you call it but how do I remove a bar on bottom of a screen right on top functional buttons which currently shows me battery meter and communication manager. I have no use for it, is it possible to get rid of it?
its called the tray, navigate to windows/startup/delete tray_init
There are going to be other apps that you will need to delete the startup shortcuts for as well such as dr. Yar Bluetooth or BTIO
I was wondering if there was any way to remove the icons on the start menu bar at the top of the phone. whenever im on the phone with someone my ear hits these buttons (mainly the volume and provider service icons) lol and it drives me crazy.. anyone know of a fix??

There is a little menu bar that pops out of the right hand side when the s-pen is ejected. I want to change the icons on that bar.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do this. I've googled extensively, and all I can find is information pertaining to the menu bar on the bottom of the screen.
I can't be the only one who wants to do this. Am I missing something?

I haven't seen one so far, but you might drop pjc21 a line -- he's been editing the stock theme for a while now and might know what to do with it.
Cant help you but for better search results it has something to do with systemIU.apk I believe.
