Problem with Phone Volume

Hi there,
I have updated my O2 XDAII to the following:
ROM 1.72.00WWE
Date 03/15/04
Radio 1.17.00
Protocol 1337.28
ExtROM 1.72.126
Everything is fine and my BT GPS is running great (using Medion Software??).
The problem is the phone volume keeps on going on mute so i can't use the phone at all, the device volume work fine and i can adjust the level, and get alarm notification.
(I had Zenphone installed ?? but the problem still there after un-installing it .. I don't know if it is relevant)
any idea please before I Hard reset it??

SOLVED .. by Hard Reset
Still don't know the cause, I'll have to reload all the programs and see

Dopod 818 Pro goes quiet when answering phone call

My device is Dopod 818Pro G3 installed with WM6 fantastic b4. Have use it for 5 month
1. Recently 70% - 80% of the time when I answering or make a phone call, my Dopod 818 goes quiet (no sound at all) but at the screen the call time duration still counting and running.
2. My second problem is I can’t connect to the Wi-Fi.
All other function is working fine and never hang
Please help to solve my problems

Hi, my problem solve. here what i did
I hard reset and soft reset more than 20 time... at the end my dopod got worse.. no sound at all ( still can run media player, audio play but no sound come out) except for incoming call... but then still when answering the call my dopod as usual go quiet. I really give up and left my dopod overnight... and suddenly this morning my dopod working fine again... i really don't know why... but at least my problem solve.
Now I'm looking software Pda Expert Pda Brilliant WM6... because this software is deleted when i do hard reset... any body know where i can download?

If the problem repeats, I suggest flashing a new ROM, or at least re flashing the ROM.

Thanks for the suggestion...
but do we need to downgrade to WM5 before re-flashing WM6? I'm still not sure how to do it... or just simply follow the WM6 upgrade procedure step by hma4 and dioxda2

With the 'new' method that requires soft or hard SPL, you do NOT need to downgrade.

rom looks verry good to me! it seems to be faster then 6.1!

Looks and feels realy good.
Two issues:
1: When someone rings me, the phone wont play the ring-tone. Its just silent, and it doesn't vibrate either.
2: If you see that someone is calling you, the phone use like 5-6 seconds to find the number that is calling in your phonelist, so before that, it just shows the number, not the name (if you have the number stored).
The phone have freezed on me once with this ROM also, but no biggie...

Tested the phone again now, and the two issues above is no longer present. Makes me wonder if its the LG KU990 i tried to call from yesterday that is wrong. Usen a Qtek8310 now.

Issue still exist when calling from the KU990 to the Pharos. KU990 to Qtek8310 works fine, Pharos to KU990 works fine, the only thing that is "lagging" is from KU990 to the Pharos. It takes about 1 ring for the "incoming call" screen on the pharos to appear, and about 4-5 rings for the sound/vibrate to start. If I have the phone in my pocket, and someone calls me, and I don't know it before 4-5 rings (15+ sec), its a big chance that the caller have hang up...
No matter if I don't have a pic for the contact, just ring (no vibrate), or ringtone on the mem-card or phone main memory.
Please say if anyone else have had this issue. Ask whoever calls you if they have been calling for a long time before you picked it up
If anyone have a video-recorder application for WM, I can make a video to show you.

will try the phonecanvas later today, my GF with the KU990 is sleeping and i have to work.

got the same feeling that it's not much different than 6.1... therefore I burned back to iolite v01

New phonecanvas didn't help a bit!
Also, when I get an incomming call, and i press the green hard-button (no "answer-button" on screen), it takes 4-5 seconds before the phone stops ringing, and the connection is established.
This, together with the other thing, is a major setback for me, and I consider going back to poldo's iolite. The new icons on the top bar and the slightly increased speed isn't that much worth.
(The opal phonecanvas also replaced the new E/G icon, and the battery icon on top bar. It is also very sluggish when you try to answer the call by sliding the slider.)

Hi all,
I have a seriuos problem with my htc magician s100. I first had WM2003SE installed on it and it kept restarting for no reason, then I upgraded it to Cotulla's WWE 3.03 and it still keeps restarting for no reason. Anyone had or has this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Guys, I've updated my O2 Mini to HTCMAG_ROM_WWE_O5...
But now I can't synchronize to outlook, it seems that active sync can't recognize the device... Any workaround about this?

i think it's because magician battries is suck! i had the same problem,but maybe you can use:advanced configuration tools,juice defender,or maybe battrey guard

No, usually the rebooting-by-itself problem on the Magician is caused by loosed contact on the back cover, you need to put a small piece of paper in order to prevent the device from rebooting alone.

hallo... I just took my magician out again... it's not working since 4 years ago, when I, as a terrible dumb man, made it poweroff while installing a radio upgrade.. now all I get is the boot screen and in few seconds it goes to black screen and USB 2.0 (or something similar) on the lower side of the screen... is there anything i can do to make it live again?

Hi everyone, can someone please advise me on the smallest/fastest most naked rom for the Magician?
I used to have a Russian rom which I set to English and this when fully tweaked gave me 42Mb of free ram and I used this for some time (mainly as a backup sat nav)
Anyway over the years I saw the newer roms and decided to try them but the best I can achieve now is around 32Mb free.
I don't care which rom or even if office etc have been removed I just need a really striped down naked rom for my 64Mb Magician.
Anyone please, and I have tried to look but there is sooo many pages and I have tried quite a few Cotula roms.

should tried hard reset device to factor default settings your Pocket PC Phone by Press and hold the power button, and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time

O2 XDA II Mini not turning on.
Hi guys.
Some time ago i tryed to unlock my device, but the software i used made it stop turning on.
Now wen i press the power buton little blue light flashes for a second, and the light above the display also flashes a blue light for a second.
When i connect it to usb or or the charger, its always flashing light from the display, but the little light above it flashes in red.
Can anyone tell me if there is any way i can make it work again ?

Cannot complete the call, signal unavailable

I have same problem on my HP ipaq 614c if any know reason or solution. I think that is maybe because a lot of aplications installed and ROM memory be low, when phone restarted everything be ok again.

i also have a O2 xda zinc with same problem... cant make calls... no incoming & outgoing...
tryed with hard reset but with no luck...
any help??
