Kindle for HD2 - General Questions and Answers

Can anybody modify the program offered by Kindle to have the reader on your Windows computer to be able to work on the HD2?
I have Kindle books from when I had their iPhone app... and I want to use them on my HD2.... I would use Barnes and Noble but they are a terrible company, and they only offer one of the books out of the ones I have already purchased from Kindle...

[VIDEO] Starcraft II on the Transformer

Here's a quick review of playing SC2 on the Transformer via Splashtop HD. it works pretty well! Let me know what games you guys have played on your android!
EDIT: silly me, forgot the link. lol

i love android
it's funny but unfortunatly, till we can't have a 1:1 mouse control with right click there s no way to play seriously a game this way.
But i would love too!

Wife and son use laptops. I use desktop connected to TV. We all huddle in the living room when we play. If we want to watch the TV while playing, I simply remote through SplashTop HD. Only need right click to remove spells from hand, so it's almost flawless. (I do have the ASUS dock)
Right-Clicking
I have a similar problem with Memoir 44 Online via splashtop HD. Right-click does not work.
I guess we can only hope splashtop builds in some options to support alternate keys, or of course, fixes it.

Yeah its a pretty big oversight.

Any decent VNC viewers for Kindle Fire?

I tried installing my VNC Viewer's APK file as a sideloaded app but it wouldn't install.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent VNC viewer for the Fire?
I'll answer my own question
Android VNC works but it's clunky and not that usable. But I did find an APK of Real VNC that installs and works just fine: v1.0.2.54668
I actually bought my original version from the Market for $9.99 so please, consider paying for this before downloading it from the net.
Mocha VNC lite is the best I have used so far. However its not as good as it is on my iphone. Sad.
Use teamviewer it's the best by a slingshot.
TeamViewer is the best....
I used aneroid market to download my paid version of RealVNC version. Appears to work fine.

Kindle Fire for kids help

Hi all, I have recently purchased 2 of the new 7" Kindle Fire for kids versions for my two young children and I'm trying to set them up within the "Kindle Freetime" childrens profile. The issues I have had so far is that MX Player Pro is not available on the Amazon Appstore? and I can only install the MX player (with ads) the second issue I have had is trying to install mx player pro from the google app store and then allowing the app into the kids "freetime" profile and this just doesnt work as no 3rd party apps (outside of the amazon appstore) are recognised by the freetime. Are there any ways around this? I would also require the kidslock touchscreen app to work within the freetime profile.

Amazon Fire Kids on Rooted Android Device

Hi all,
I've had help here before and am hoping for some again, I've got an old nexus 10 which I've rooted and turned it into a super restricted kids tablet for my daughter using xposed framework and nav bar mods etc it works a treat and she can use netflix kids by herself to find new programmes safely. I'm thinking of switching from netflix to Amazon prime and it seems the only kid friendly interface for prime video is available on the kindle fire for kids tablet. I wondered if there was a way to get a kid friendly interface for prime video on Android
I know there are other apps like bbc iplayer kids but these don't have paw patrol lol also if I'm paying for a streaming service I'd like my whole family to be able to use it
Thanks all
Sam
