Okay I'm stuck...
I've seen screen shots on page 88 and page 90 of the post your screenshots thread that have home screens with icons with no text labels underneath...
I've tried doing this with BetterCut but I can only set the label to " " a single space that still puts the little label box... I simply want just the icon and no text or little label box beneath it... How can I do this!
Sorry I know there are other threads about this sort of thing but I've searched and read through them all and its been no help!

Only problem for me is that it does not remove the text from anything but Apps. Any of my BetterCut shortcuts have the text still, same with widgets

Haha damn just overlooked that completely. Worked but beautiful widgets still have their text :-( I can deal with that
Havent tried removing the text (yet), but I've succeeded in removing the icon text background. Launcher2+5.0.6T2 only. Watch the morph thread...

I think those texts are a part of the widget.

yer i dont see it
i have a n1
is it hiding somewhere else apart from... menu button/config
I Have helix launcher 2 and cannot find that option anywhere.
Was the option in an old version of the launcher that's removed now?
This would be a nice option to have built into the stock launcher2 for cyanogenmods moving forward.

Maybe S2U2 will work for you?
sorry I would actually like to know this aswell, Does anyone know if your able to remove a line through registry to eliminate the taskbar on the lock screen.
any solution to this?
have you looked at the cpr file with your associated lockscreen? it may be in there...
how to remove taskbar from lockscreen&
As I understand after long searching, there is no any solution...
Does this exist? I want to be able to see my home screen through the lockscreen, like I could with Android 1.5.
I've got the clear lockbar, but can't seem to find the black background to the lockscreen to get rid of it. I've tried checking in Rosie.apk, com.htc.resources.apk, HtcLockScreen.apk and can't find it in any of those.
I made a transparent png and set that as my lockscreen wallpaper, but all I am getting is a black background.
Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
Nope wont work.
....So, nothing yet?
Did you look in the themes pages? On the first page there is a way to remove your lock screen so that way you can have just a lock picture and a volume picture on your screen. This is somewhat transparent so you could technically see your background... that's an option if you wanted.. :/

More info please? There's quite a few themes threads. No matter what I've tried, it won't make the lockscreen transparent in 2.1 so I can see my homescreen. I read somewhere it's because 2.1 uses a JPG as the background (JPG's can't have transparency), but have no idea if this is accurate or not. If so, sounds like it might be impossible. Why it would be changed from 1.5 to 2.1, beats me... Going backwards from using a PNG to JPG.

Hey folks. Was wondering if one of you metamorph wiz's could work this. When I get a Google talk message I'd love to see the attached icon (albeit smaller) in the top notification bar instead of the stock icon. The stock is super boring. I'm using a black bar mod if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance!

Ya, I saw that. I wanted something for the notification bar. Not the app icon.
Here is the icon in the stock blue color, if anyone is interested.
If you've already applied the morph above, just use a file manager app to find the Android Themes folder on your sd, find the gtalk_stat_icon morph, and replace the .png file in the correct folder with this one. Apply the existing theme with Metamorph.
Hey there! I know It's not a really important thing but just wondering about it.. if you look at the Z5 pictures online and on the box (the white version) you'll see the navigation bar icons (home, back, recents) and the status bar icons are black when the white theme is applied. It's not like that when you actually use the phone. They're normally white. is there an actual way (without a serious modification) to make them like that?
Check the picture:

False advertising. Xperia Home doesn't have that option.
You can make it look like that by using Nova, but stock? No.
Oh wow lol @Syberyon thanks anyway

I've been using Nova forever and I've never seen it have this option. All I've ever seen is either making the status bar transparent or not on the home screen. Where would you find the option to customize it like that? Thanks in advance!

Oh, I see. I'll have to try it on my old phone though since this one doesn't actually have on-screen buttons (if it affects that as well). Seems a bit different and not as flexible as I imagined (I wasn't really going to use it anyway - was just curious). In any case, thanks!

Hi guys so I've searched for themes online which enable you to have round stock icons. I haven't found anything of good quality so I decided to give it a go and edit one of the built in themes on Honor Play. With luck not only was I able to change every icon to round (Photos Above, only on big Icons!) using only the stock icons but accidently managed to make a theme that adds another feature, which is to make any other icon which is not round into a round icon (almost) and makes your icons look so much better! I kept everything else stock I hope you like the theme! All the adaptive Icons for calendar and weather have also been changed while still fully fictional. The only icons I did not keep stock were the Music, Themes, and the Audio icon as I found better looking ones. The lock screen has no wallpaper set as I have left it on Magazine unlock to make it easy for those of you who like to use that feature. I do apologize if I have made any mistakes during this post this is quite literally my first ever post.
The link to the .hwt file is below. This theme will work on any Honor or Huawei phone but was initially created for Honor Play EMUI 9.
The instructions to install once downloaded are Copy File into Internal Storage > Huawei > Themes > and paste into this folder > Restart Phone > Open the themes app > Me > My Themes > You should see the theme for selection so like any other theme Apply and enjoy!

Yes I know! Read what I have said if you want adaptive round icons you need to use the big Icons. I showed you Microsoft app icons because they don't support round icons yet in my theme they are round. On small Icons theme only the main apps will be round! So download the big Icons you will see every single app in your drawer will be round including your apps mentioned above.
