I'm looking for anything cool. maybe a vista theme? anything, as long as it doesnt use WisBar Advance.
Also, I wouldnt like an Iphone theme, only iPhone stuff i ever use is if it's a launcher.

They have lot of standard themes that dun have to use wisbar or stuff like that

Such things dont exist unfortunately.
Note: u can use RL today, its has its specific themes, along with mortscript, but its just too slow.

try ultimate launcher, simple looking or advanced whatever you like have as many scrolled and or tabbed links as you like and you can embed today screen apps into any page you set up.
search on handango uk or germany or look for the thread here that's titled "tabbed launcher " or something close to that !

That theme really gives you detail and it doesn't slow doen your ppc at all as long as you don't use Wisbar Advance..
That theme will completely only using Wisbar Advance Desktop
Checkout pointui.com most usable interface I've had on my phone yet (for touching anyway). I wish it was customizable but you can't have it all right?

Hey everyone, so I don't yet have a tilt but am going to purchase one tomorrow.
I've been doing some research into ROMs and general customizing for the tilt and have been a bit overwhelmed with all the information so please bare with me.
Do I need to do ROM flashing if I just want to change the home screen? I have a seen some cool ones that resemble the iPhone and other sleek looking home screens that I would like to add. Also, if someone wouldn't mind explaining what a cab is and how it relates to the ROM exactly I would greatly appreciate it.

ROM = The OS (Operating System) i.e. Windows Mobile 6
Cab = Installation package for Software. Can also be used for registry tweaks.
You do not need to flash a Rom just to change your Today Screen (Home Screen is what they call it on Smartphones {lack touchscreen]).

Hi:
That is a great thread to start seeing some of the MANY options available for your Today screen. In that post people post their Today screen pics, and most people will say what programs etc. they use to create their screens. If you see one you like, and it doesn't say how they made it, you can always ask them, most people will be very helpful.

Well, Ive been searching for months trying to find any stand alone start menu icons to fit with my Dusk theme as i love dinks taskbar but its changed my start button and my animated loading icon.
Before you accuse me of not Googling or searching threads, all i seem to keep coming back to is the 6.5x only thread, nothing else. They look awesome but no use to me.
Any one able to point me in the right direction?
Also if you know where I can get a choice of animated loading icon (eg.spinny win mo symbol) that would be great.

Look here it's a link to someone else searching, we can try to keep it in one thread, I can't find them for the life of me. I did have quite a number but I am gonna trawl through the Themes and Apps and see if I can find the thread.
original ganjaman has done some start buttons for 6.5. and i know he is lookin into it. best to ask him to make u one . I've learnt how to make them for 6.5x but not for 6.5 .

Alrighty then, here we go. Infinite Cha0s X now up and running. I have decided to do the Market as an add-on due to various compatibility issues some testers have had. I managed to flash in succession: Market versions 2.2.7, 2.2.11, and 2.3.6 without need to freeze the MarketUpdater, or wiping ANYTHING. Not a single force close. However, even trying to flash a themed version of the same one included in the rom (2.2.11) failed for some of my other testers, sometimes not even showing up in the app drawer at all. Haha! Thanks for the kind words, and I was thinking the SAME thing, and was almost thinking of posting it before I noticed you wrote. I know the Motorola stuff isn't as big over here, but was hoping for SOMEONE to notice this. It doesn't look super professional and looks like this theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002986 except yours looks better.
But I think if you could sharpen up the images a little bit to make it look a lot more pro and maybe more minimalist this could be a great theme!

Hey man, thanks for props and constructive criticism. Unfortunately I know of no way to make images sharper, as most of the images are found online, and I don't know any repository of hi-res icons to pick and choose from. Also, my theme came out well before Bruised Steel, just not for the Dx, as I had a Droid 1 previously, but I'm glad you like mine better. I dunno anything about being super professional, as I have no schooling or training in image manipulation, so I had to go with being as thorough as possible. I'm just someone with too much free time on their hands. LoL Anyway, have a good one.

Beyond the Messaging icon and the little + symbol in the dialer picture, I'm not sure what you mean about the images not being sharp? I don't see anything else that isn't at least standard quality icons. Please elaborate.
Maybe they are judging the low res sscreen shots without actually installing the theme....i installed it just to try it and it liked beautiful...but the version I used was one I ported with Wugs...so the 3g icon didnt port directly over to GB that I'm using..... But loved it and planning on doing a re port once Wug updates his porter

Just checked yours out and, you're right, its easy to have "sharp" and "professional" images when you just recolor existing images. Man this forum is full of douche bags!!

thanks for not even having the common courtesy to bash my Bruised Steel theme on its on thread. you should remember that most themers do this for themselves and don't have to share with you. if you don't like it.... Don't use it. you Sir are the real douchebag.
To creator of infinite chaos... Ran your theme for a couple days. didn't notice any quality issues with images. looks great keep up the good work.

I have threads, just haven't posted them here, thank you very much! I have never, and will never "bash" another's theme. But, if you're gonna talk **** about someone else's themed images not being "sharp" enough when all you do is change the hue on yours, you SHOULD be called out, IMO! I am "up and coming" and have only been theming for a couple of months now but, I'm just on the other forums most of the time. XDA isn't the ONLY forum, yeah?

For the Samsung Continuum, we are in desperate need of people who are good with designing and changing graphics and icons... Trailblazer has done most of the hard work in accessing/customizing the ticker, however neither he, nor I, have the graphic ability to make good looking graphics and/or icons... For those with Continuums, if you are interested in contributing, and gaining your 15 minutes of fame (okay, maybe not ), either send me a PM, or reply to this thread. We will ALWAYS give credit where credit is due!
On the other hand, if you want lame or none-existent icons/graphics, I can always call up Kolourpaint and throw something ugly together. But, trust me, you don't want to see that. Remember the old 8 bit Atari graphics? See, I thought so...

Specifically, I have a couple ideas xD
For the first one, maybe a blue ring that would go around the WeatherBug Weather image on the ticker... As in, when you click the weather icon, it would clearly show that you areeee actually clicking it for once
Second idea, maybe a few small, colored dots that could be placed on the main ticker display... These Dots, which i could have say, for example, a small "M" for messaging, would launch Messaging when clicked... Preferably green, orange, and purple or whatever, then another blue one that i could set as the image when clicked....
Third, maybe a nice button to go on the main page that changes when clicked (just make two images) and maybe has "Continuum" or something catchy

well i used to work for a graphics design firm and clothing company a few years back. this weekend i could hook up my good old media pc and get it updated with the apps (adobe suite/paint) i could cook up a few things and will get back to a thread (ill post in this one for starts) feel free to pm me about it and throw ideas. havent been around lately (hands full taking my son cross state back to his mommas) but new ec07 is going pretty good for me. yall have been great to me.

Dude, it would be miles better than my stick figures... Trust me. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.. I would do better turning my 7 year old daughter loose on creating the icons... She didn't get the artistic gene from me...

Hey, since Verizon and Samsung view us as red-headed-step-children (no offense meant to any red-heads out there ), it is up to use in the trenches with this orphaned phone to fix the problems with it.

Did the mouse eat the keyboard? Did the cat eat the mouse? (Okay, enough!)
AFAIK, the icons that are used within Android are PNG's not GIF's. I know you can't animate a PNG, so I think it may be a sequence. Trailblazer would be in a better position to answer that item.
