very impressed with speed and responsiveness compared to WM5
Voice speed dial -- broken, missing dll?
Midlet manager -- broken, missing dll?
Clearvue pdf -- broken, missing dll?
Backlight button doesnt work

flash a decent rom from any of the reputable rom builders here, and not some insane chinese fetishist.

It's mo3ulla's ROM! I've given you a clue, do a quick search & you'll find what you're looking for.

I've reflashed jwrite ROM and have to say Mozilla is A LOT faster.

1... voice speed dial - deleted .... use ciberon voice dialer or commander ( he has much more functions)
2. midlet manager - -- deleted .... install separately or not install at all
3. clearvue - deleted --- extremely buggy and slow software .. if you need this install separately
4. Backlight button -- works just bind action for it
tips about using this rom i write in rom related topic .... btw ... users did not find bugs in 1.01 .. miracle?

can some one tell how to change bootloder
it will be very huch appricated of if some one willing to tell me the way of changing the boot screen.

Really would like to try your V1.01, but I can't run without Flash Disk for extra storage. Will test your version with FD when it comes. Cheers!

What kind of bugs did you finde?can you be a lille more specific?

this rom is too cool. some bugs:
the pointer has a triple shade
the virtual keyboard sometimes closes by itselfs
Now i'm posting from my spv , using the new ie... it's too cool to be true

Known issues
ThrottleLauncher gives an error on reset.. just press quit and throttle restarts and works perfect to next reset... Will be fixed in Throttle III
HTC Keyboard is set to german by default just change to english. Only English is included in rom

what version of htc home is that? ive never seen it, although I've thought of something similar in my head, hoping it would come out.
I wanted there to be more options, or like an iphone "slide left/right" for more programs.

Hi,
I discovered a nice application : Showaco reSTART. It allows you to rearrange the start menu, add custom icons to folders or applications...
However, I can't make it work on my HD2. Anyone else has the same problem ? A component is missing... maybe it's not compatible with HTC Sense...

Haven't tried installing it on the HD, but there's better programs avaliable to do exactly the same things. Try JSPAProgramManager, JWMD IconChanger.

restart works fine with my Hd2. possibly you don't have .net compact framework 3.5? if this is the case then take a look at the "hints tips things you may not know" thread in the leo area.

What errors do you get?

Did you have a english or france rom? Because i had a dutch rom and it aint working on that rom because in english the startmenu was under windows\start menu and in the dutch rom under windows\startmenu (without the space). Just checked: Restart is starting on my hd2. I also have .net compact framework 3.5

You're the man, the start menu has to be created as 'Start Menu'.

I <3 swype supeb input.
But ive found that when im hot and a bit sticky () I cant slide my finger over the screen right, and its really annoying.
also, it doesn't input text at first for me. even though the cursor is there. I type and nothing.
But when i open the menu is SMS, and close it... It works fine. WTF

Swype is great...but some version have issues and well it wasn't really designed for the HD2 in mind.
I've used it for a while and still love it although it could be better.
You might want to give shapewriter a try as well...similar to swype but faster and the letters are bigger for times you don't want to "swype"...i'm still trying it out and will compare it with Swype to see which is better...

Swype doesn't support dutch but SlideIT does.
I'm using SlideIT with a dutch language pack too and it works very well
It supports many languages.
