Received my Noreve case today for the Desire. Great quality as you'd expect but the flap that should project the screen is a little too short so it does not lay flat on the screen when fasten. Perhaps will losen with time.

i've been reading on here for a while, havent had much 'need' so to speak to join up.. but i do now. Used to reference here with my omnia and now with having ordered a desire from clove.. ive become stuck.
Im in australia and the frosted flexshield is exactly what i want to protect my soon to be newborn. Theres not much in aus in the way of accessories as its an unreleased phone (even though on one of our forums, whirlpool, theres around 100 htc nuts on preorder).
Was just wondering if anyone could go out on a limb and purchase a clear/frosted flexshield for me, then post it on?
im probably not real likely to get a response, and i understand that, but i was hoping to have my phone protected as soon as i got it, as i work as a sparky on construction sites.
If anyone is feeling upto the task, shoot me a pm. ill see you guys around the traps either way, love the website.

well your video is more confusing ...cuz the pics at mobilefun shows that the case is kinda transparent ...diff than the video..

The mobile fun is a semi-transparent black it's different to the solid black in the video.

Mine is a semi-transparent black one, Nexus case. Looks quite nice, I thought, AND lets you still see where the volume and power buttons are.

There are a couple of them on ebay, solid black and the diamond/crystal pattern ones.
I haven't seen the brightly coloured ones probably need to wait for some one to buy a wholesale lot of them if you can't find them anywhere by searching around for TPU or gel nexus one cases.
Are these flexishield cases silicon or some other material? I am looking for something that doesn't attract dust like the silicon ones do.....

I am currently using a silicon cover which is nice for protection, but it makes the phone look a little bit fat and ugly lol.

I saw a Korean mesh case today in a shopping centre here in a Korean phone accessory store of course. It was extremely thin and fit snugly to the phone. It adds a wow factor for it's design. The red colour stands out more than the black of course, but the black also looks great. At AUD$18 which is actually cheaper than buying off ebay which is AUD$20.50.
In terms of protection, it's a back scratch protector and adds grip, it won't offer any falling protection like a silicone case will.
What I do like about it is, unlike the silicone cases which are quite bulky, the sides of the case are almost flat across the face of the phone. This makes it a real pleasure to swipe the phone to unlock and slide to different home screens. I find my fingers getting caught on the sides of the silicone case I have currently.

Saw a bunch of those hard cases at a shop yesterday. Don' think they had an orange one though. I remember seeing a black one, a white one, and a red one. They were selling them for HK$ 30 each.

how long did it take the case to get to you?
less than a week
Bought the Orange one yesterday and will hopefully give feedback about it soon. I so wanted the white one too, oh well, let's see if the quality's nice.
Got the casing and I can say that this is a fantastic but for the price. The hard gel casing does provide better protection but I've found a new affection for my device thanks to this.
I can also use the volume rocker easily now.

Here is one nice thing about this case. The back piece is transparent with white edges around it so the original design isn't covered. With some other cases that cover the whole back, the phone kinda looks an iPhone after putting the case on (especially if you have white or black cases), which is not something I want.
Another good thing about this case is that instead of have all the holding clips around the 4 corners, the clips are in the middle of the top and bottom edges of the 2 shells. They clip on to the little hole on top and bottom of the phone.
This way, the gap between the top half and bottom half of the phone won't be enlarged by the thickness of the clips like those cases with clips at the 4 corners.
But this case is by no means perfect. The polish and finishing could need some better works. But I am not complaining since it is quite hard to find a nice case for this phone.
It doesn't add much thickness to the phone either.
The top part of the shell at the edge right above the keyboard side also have its edge shaved inward so that is will not block the keyboard when it's opened.
See the location of the clips:
A lot of cases out there would make the phone look ridiculous, but this one sure made mine looks better.

Looks like nobody in US or Europe are selling them at all.
You will need to find someone you know from China or Hong Kong to help you get this I guess. Not sure if they sell international though if you try to get it yourself.
If you do a search with terms "taobao english agent" on Google, looks like there are now companies that will help people from the English world to order things from taobao . com(it's like the Ebay of China but have way more stuff and way cheaper).

Yeah, that clock is cool. There will be an animation of the arms swinging from the 12 o'clock position to the actual current time every time you load back the home screen from some place else.
But if it could show the date and day of the week it would be perfect.

Capdase has stores here in the philippines, it' also one of the most imitated brands here locally so they have a lot of fakes.
I don't think the sell online though unless you go to a 3rd party site. Like cresdo.com (which doesn't really have all of capdase's products)
They also have some really good screen protectors. Anti glare, fingerprint etc...
Much better than the screen protector that I got from otterbox.

I am not sure of this forum really allow private group buy or not though.

where are the kickstands?!? this is billed as an uber multi media phone and 1. it does not come with a kickstand to watch movies and 2. I have not seen any kickstand cases outside of the bulky body glove one. This is infuriating to me.

They dont have the holes in them like the other cases. I read somewhere that they were needed, that some cases were pulled due to no holes. the 3 at the top 2 at the bottom...

For the mesh case, I got one for my previous HD2, and it stained the back (soft rubbery surface part). My colleagues got one such red hard case (not mesh) and it happened to her Desire as well.
Now I am rather weary of using such coloured hard case..
Only thing I don't like about these barely there type cases, is they are a royal pain to get on and off. Pair it with ghost armor and your device is bulletproof! But good luck pulling the battery lol.

Excellent price, delivery nearly everywhere. Delivery took 12 days to US, and shipping is free.
Just received mine and it's as advertised. Getting my replacement Sensation tomorrow so haven't tried the case on the phone yet, but it looks like it will be very good. Very thin, which is what I wanted. Holes are cut in the case for each switch and hole on the phone.
I'll update once I've installed it and used it more.

I would have to agree, the prices seem a little out of whack in relation to other products out there. The seller would really have to list key deferential features from their product to others being sold to help me understand the price difference.
Plus it looks like you would have to wait close to a month before having the product in hand, that to me is a really long time.
I just bought the knock off one from ebay and it arrived yesterday. Works well for me. Im waiting for the mesh black one. I had that on my desire and now the sensation. It feels better in my hand than the non-mesh one

I look at those mesh cases and imagine how much dust and gunk will accumulate in the holes in a month or two or three. May feel good, but don't they get nasty after a while? Just take it off and wash it out?
Is there a leather case our there that is just for the phone and not some little belt holster/pocket? I think it would look pretty sexy on the Sensation.

I think he meant a "fitted" leather case, kinda like a TPU case but made out of leather. I would REALLY want one as well. I know there is one made for the SGS2 by zenus but I don't think there is one for the sensation

I do like the looks of these! I just wish the little cover flipped up instead of down. I still might have to check it out, though.

I like this case but without the flip. Could you tell me for the phone portion of the case (the part that holds the phone), is it ALL made out of leather as well? or is the inside of the case made if hard plastic that could possibly scratch the phone?
Not sure yet. I'll post some pics when the case will arrive.

Ok, today I have gotten the case. It feels sturdy, fits on the sides perfectly. Despite of the site being registered in US, it arrived from "Jacky Chan" in Hong Kong (lold at that one) Took ~10 days per airmail.
The cut-outs for camera and flash + back speaker are fitting perfectly aswell, along with volume and microusb cut-out.
Only thing that was a bit weird at first was that the covering didn't fit perfectly "at once", but I guess after a while and stretching it'll fit. The cover holds though, while also giving access to power button.
I am in work atm, but I will post pictures once I get home. Stay tuned.
For ~24 USD it seems fairly usable and good-looking case, in my opinion.
THIS is the bomb! 60$ but worth it ! I have used this company's similar case for my HD2, Desire HD, AND now for the Sensation!

I think it is possible, but I am not sure whether it then wouldn't be prone to further ripping. The hard plastic ends on the bottom from where the leather-only hinge starts and there you should be able to perform a cut, while having it still stylish.
Maybe if you would finish the cut part with some sort of superglue mixed with black ink, it would fix the ripping issue.
So, this was just listed on eBay. I ordered one too see how it will fit my original one or to compare it. It looks almost identical to the original one, especially with the buttons. The previous fake ones had the buttons intact to the tpu shell, this one isn't so it looks like the frame can be use for my original one. It's worth a try

UPDATE:
I got mine from the mail, and good new people! IT FITS!
The case feels solid for the price in my opinion.
I doesnt feel or look cheap but I have to say the original one feels better.
The tpu that came with the knock off is more stiff than the spigen one but it doesnt feel cheap.
The frame look exactly the same with only differentiation are the "neo hybrid" logo and the buttons. Judge the pictures for yourself. And It does say "neo hybrid"
The buttons are not tight like the original ones, if i have one complain its the buttons, but they can be easily switched with the original ones. Push the buttons from in to out and they come off easily to be switched. That is what im planning on doing.
Cant complain with the price and how it goes along with the original ones.
They are the same thickness, if not the fake ones are a little thinner.
Look at the pictures for better judgement.

lol i was reading the item description and so blatantly they have stated "All photos are taken by our REAL item, not internet photos!" and the picture clearly shows Spigen on the back of the case. Maybe they hijacked a spigen delivery plane that was on its way to the US :laugh:

My guess is that when you get it, it will be a NED Hybrid and the photos they are showing online are not representative of the product. They are counting on making a quick bundle and seeing only a small number of complaints because the price is so low most people will just write it off as a loss.
I'd buy one just for the bumper to be able to change colors on my original silver

I got one also, i hope its thinner than the other Ned Hybrid knock off I got from eBay.
The only negative i can see with this case, is they dont have the same color as authentic

I'm also looking forward to a review...from the pics it looks like a pretty good reproduction. I'm concerned with the fit, I had a knock-off one for my S3 and it was really loose on the phone.

Most sellers use spigens stock image, not their products real pictures. Now this one, it's different. And its not hard to tell that its their own fake neo hybrid pictures. It clearly says NEO. Lol. Im using my authentic one to show you guys the lettering

Sorry I did not express myself well. Yes they are made of plastic haha, bu I mean that those in the photos look very cheap, like toys or something, and even tough the original ones area plastic, if you look some pics of them (not stock ones), they look far better.
Anyway, I think we'll have to wait for our friend to receive it.
