Hey has anyone ported over the mytouch Dialer and Phone without the Line between the first and second rows? im running Aloysius_205b on my hero and would really love that dialer.
Also ive been looking at alot of threads and see alot of roms with blue in them... has anybody thought of a good 2.1 theme with red as a base color? i like the desire theme that atoz350 has but i want all the soft blue stuff to be a soft red instead. if someone has some incite on that also let me know.
Do it yourself and let us know how it turns out.

Are you referring to porting the MyTouch Dialler itself or making a dialler look alike?

almost done with the frameworks. thats the big one. then wont be long from there. Lots of custom do it myself stuff. not a lot of red themes out there to copy and paste from

to be honest, just my 2 cents... the coloring is just too all over the place with no real point to it... but i have to admit... u got great taste in cars... used to be a proud owner of a E46 M3, oh man...

i was trying to use the light blue, dark blue , red thing. i cant assign which key i want for a certain color. this is the best i could do.
Does anyone know how to mod the layout to add up,dwn, lft, rght arrows? On page 2 of the number layout, there is 4 blank keys that would be perfect for this. I hate having the arrows on the letter layout like the default, but it would be cool to have them if needed. Any one know?

For all you Damageless fans out there. I made this clean and simple. I kept it close to stock, but made it 50% transparent and added Damage's logo on the spacebar. Later I'll be making a black transparent Damage keyboard.

How do i install? When it goes to the app manager theres no install option, only uninstall and it fails

I figured out my issue. I was trying to use Astro to install it and that can't do it for some reason. When I used ES File Explorer, it gave me the option to overwrite the existing keyboard. Thanks for the reply though.
Does anyone else have an issue with the EVO reverting back to the stock unskinned HTC_IME keyboard after a reboot? I find myself having to reinstall my skinned version everytime I reboot the phone.

So MIUI is an awesome overhaul but definitely not ready for use as an everyday Rom just yet. What I was wondering is if there were any way or anyone who could port just the lock screen replacement from it. And if not, are there any replacements out there like it?
I would love to see someone point to google voice instead of the default messaging app.

This was so long ago...LOL. does MIUI still use the dual slide lock screen? Last I used it was on Rodriguez and the dual pic slide was removed. Not sure if this was rom specific or through MIUI though.

Miui does use the slide with phone/lock/message keys. But MIUI has an amazing theming system, so it comes in many forms.
Not ready for everyday use?!?! Guess need to move over to another ROM seeing as how I've been using MIUI everyday for months...

Guess you don't know how to read. This thread was posted back when MIUI was brand new and extra buggy not to mention not even fully translated. So chill out. MIUI has come a long way in a short period. I don't use it full time but I've flashed versions and its pretty nice now.

Personally, I would love to see it added to Widget Locker. I already use MIUI as my daily ROM, and I love it! I also love Widget Locker, but I haven't used it in a while since I like MIUI's lock screen. Combine the best of both worlds, and we'll have a winner!
miui locker is what you seek
Having tried many roms I found that fantastic sense both sense 2.1 and 3.0 all have the same phone dialer, but the 4g touch rom the telephone keypad is beautiful and very thin, someone is able to encode some of this fantastic rom dialer ? Thanks to all the cooks who do a wonderful job every day. Files attached to this dialer.

dialer looks alot nicer then a standard sense dialer. def would be nice to see this in forthcoming roms.
ps. i hate sense's dialer. its the 1 feature i think aosp has better

This is a new sense dialer that is why I suggest to include it in new roms.
This dialer is not new. It is the Sense Espresso dialer Tmo used since the MT Slide. It is also in Double Shot. Anyway it would be cool. I tried porting it in the past and it caused many issues with the rom. Mods might want to move this to the themes section yeah?

Finally got myself a Note. Really nice phone. Comming from a SGSII.
Though, I don't like the SimPlanner. I would like to have stock android Calendar instead.
Have searched but nothing found. Someone have a apk file for me that I can push over to my system/app folder?

I did not know that Well, almost every ROM I have tried on my SGSII had this AOSP Calendar - and that's the one that I want.
But that isn't possible or huh?

afaik that´s just the TouchWiz version of it...and in my opinion it is pretty ugly, I never used it *g* But that´s a matter of taste, of course
In many customROMS ICS, not comes the stock calendar. I need a calendar that Synchronize with gmail calendarm, this makes this function?
