I use SlideIT. http://www.mobiletextinput.com/Product/SlideIT/SlideIT.php
'The keyboard is provided with primary and secondary languages, and the user can switch between them at any time.
Users have the option to change the primary or secondary languages by loading other language packs.
More supported languages will be introduced soon and will include alphabetical and non- alphabetical languages (oriental languages).'

Keyboad which switches layout to different language

WM5/WM6 has build in on-screen keyboard which works OK when typing in English.
Now lets say I activated another "Locale" in registry to be able to type in e.g. Russian (0419).
Now I can type in Russian, but ... if I look at on-screen keyboard, it has no russian characters It has some weird characters instead.
So ... is there any way to do this ... when I'm typing using on-screen keyboard and I change language, that on-screen keyboard layout will change accordingly and display Russian characters layout ?
I know about Resco keyboard, but it is kind of heavy and consumes a lot of resources. I'm looking for lighter solution
what would be more interesting to switch it completely ... say an english rom with a russian keyboard instead of the english one.
Well ... when I click two buttons to change between English and Russian layout in hardware keyboard, it would be nice that soft-keyboard will display proper symbols TOO.
I think MuNs keyboard has something I need, but I believe it is bundled with numeric keypad (where you dial phone numbers)

AAdditional languages on the HTC HD2 keyboard

By default the HD2 keyboard comes with 5 languages. Does any one know how to incorporate additional languages? I am specifically interested about the greek language.
I also are intrested in alternetive language keyboard settings. I want Swedish, and that im thinking of keyboard support for Bluetooth Keyboards. External BT keyboards works great, but cant se that im using a Swedish Keyboard. We have the darn å,ä,ö thats messing up the usability for me.
Any Ideas?
Thnx in advance

I'm also looking for a swedish keyboard! PLEASE!!
These subjects are addressed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5138044 for HTC LEO.
Use the search tool on the top bar with key words like t9, xt9 or even et9 and your preferred language. You might find a suitable solution on another device's topics.
Also, I asked makeveral to implement a selection tool on his BsB app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5136662. If you think it's a goo idea, add a post to his topic saying so. Good luck!
Use Fingerkeyboard 2.1 for additional languages... its free and has a much better interface than the standard keyboard. You can switch between languages easily...

Change HTC Keyboard language

Hi Everybody,
I got a UK/O2 Leo the other day and I am having a problem writing in my native language, greek. I have changed Manilla (using a reg entry) to appear in greek (mainly for the contacts index), yet the HTC keyboard doesn't seem to support greek at all. Is there any way to add more languages to the HTC keyboard or am I forced to use a 3rd party app?
Thanks in advance

Keyboard with number row in playstore (even AZERTY with number row on top)

I was looking for a replacement keyboard for the xperia keyboard (port doesn't work anymore on my android 6 rom on my oneplus phone) to get an AZERTY layout with number row on top ( works also with Qwerty ).
After searching 2 days i did find an new app in the playstore which is still in beta , but working very well. :good:
Mostly you have to select the PC-layout to get number row , and if not the number row is only working for QWERTY layout.
Nextapp keyboard on Playstore
ENJOY ! :victory:
--------------------
The NextApp Keyboard is a derivative of the AOSP keyboard found in Android 4.4 KitKat, with added arrow keys and other special keys, and a slightly tweaked QWERTY layout that is closer to that of a PC Keyboard.
This is a BETA RELEASE of this app. If you experience issues with it, please report them to [email protected]. It's extremely difficult to have a conversation using the Play Store review system.
This version comes with English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish dictionaries.
I would greatly appreciate feedback on the keyboard layouts, including the arrangement of special keys on the alphabet keyboard, symbols keyboard, and function keyboards.
Function Keyboard
This keyboard includes a function key ("Fn") toward its lower left corner which can be used to access many additional keys typically found on a PC or Mac keyboard, including:
• Cursor Arrow Keys
• Page Up / Page Down
• Insert, Delete, Home, and End.
• Function F1-F12.
• Ctrl and Alt
• Tab
• Escape
The fundamental QWERTY keyboard layout has been very slightly tweaked to more closely replicate that of a PC keyboard. Specifically, the size of the left shift key has been reduced such that the third row (ZXCVBNM) is no longer overly shifted to the right. The shift key is now a standard sized key. This modification only applies to phones (the AOSP keyboard already uses this layout for tablets).
Permissions
This keyboard is based on the AOSP keyboard from Android KitKat 4.4. It uses identical permissions to that keyboard. The "read contacts" permission is used to autocomplete names from your contacts. This keyboard DOES NOT send any data to anyone.
Optional Features
This app will have also have a paid version when it exits beta. BY DEFAULT, ALL PAID FEATURES ARE TURNED OFF IN THE BETA. Paid features cannot be used unless you check the "Test Features from Paid Version" in the settings. If you enable paid features, they will only work until the end of the beta.
Thank you for helping beta test this keyboard!

Adding input language into Samsung keyboard

Hello friends.
I need Serbian Cyrillic input language which is not available in list of languages in Samsung keyboard. How I can add it, so it will be available in my multi input Samsung keyboard? There is also other applications (like Google keyboard and Swift key) that have required languages but I prefer Samsung keyboard because it has better way of learning predictive input from personalised database.
