[Q] Why when i move files to my internal SD CARD, it goes to 0 bytes.

When I move my files to my phone I INTERNAL MICRO SD this stays 0 bytes of space when it actually has 1GB of free space, then plug my phone in storage mode does not work, only USB recovery mode works.
I clorkworkmod whit NVFLASH 5.0.X.X and i flashed cynogenmod, ON eagles blood i have the same problem.
WHIT MIUI i have the same problem, only whit stock firmware i dont have this bug.
Please help me!!
It sounds like maybe your internal sd is formatted ext3 and your phone's system is formatted ext4. Those roms you mentioned use ext4 partitions and stock GB uses ext3. To use those roms I believe your internal sd card must be reformatted to ext4.
OHH man thanks u, but how can i format my SD CARD TO EXT4?? sorry for my noob question.
i have falsh it to ext4 whit mini tools partition, and the phone says it my internal SD it whit error and i formatted whit phone and connecto to my pc and the same problem, only whit CMW.
The internal sdcard isn't formatted to ext, it's fat32. (Which is why you can mount it on a windows box.)
I've seen this happen with faulty drivers, bad usb cables, it's usually on the computer end. Most commonly, it's caused by the file allocation table showing the wrong amount of free space on the drive/partition. Try running a chkdsk on it to see if that helps. It's not hard to mess up a fat32 or fat16 drive by improperly removing it (unplugging it from the computer before you unmount it. Best case it just marks the drive unclean and bugs you everytime you plug it in, worst case you get corruption on the file allocation table.)

Damaged SD Card

Hi guys,
My phones micro-sd card has been acting strange and was not being recognized at times by my phone. I then proceeded to put it in its SD card adapter and put it in my Mac and got an error saying the card was unreadable. I then put it in a reader on my PC and everytime I try to access the drive it gives me the 2 errors, "You need to format the drive...etc" and after clicking cancel it says that my drive is an unrecognized file format.
Recuva says it can't read the boot sector and running chkdsk gives me the message that the file format is RAW.
Just tried running ReclaiMe file recovery and it says the card is only 30.6MB while it is actually a 32GB card.
Do you guys think there is any hope? Or should I just move on?
Any help would appreciated. Got a lot of pictures and music I would love to save on the drive, plus ROM backups.
Thanks so much
Bump
I've killed an SD card before.. not sure how.. it had been partitioned EXT3 for a rom on a desire.. then re-formatted to normal..
but the problem came months after without notice one day the camera was failing and the gallery wouldn't open..
I tried a new SD card and things were fine so I figured the SD card died
Try to use MiniTool Partition Wizard on your pc, and delete ext partition and swap stay only on fat32. if that does not work format your card to exfat. If that doesn`t work try use program "winhex"(before i used it, my computer hadnt read my card). I repaired my card 3 times these methods.
You can use this ONLY on memory card reader.

Micro SD card unreadable after trying to format it

Today i was attempting to partion my SD card so i can install more applications on my phone(i hate the low internal memory i have). Anyhow, i used this tutorial to get it done, and now my SD card wont be recgonized by either my pc or phone, i tried booting into recovery in my phone and partion it trough recovery, all i got was "Mounting of SD card failed!". On Pc it actually picks up that thre is an SD card inserted, but wont read it.
I realize that i need to format it, but there is no option to do so on PC, or at least i cant find it, im guessing a special programm might be needed.
Any ideas?

[Q] My Memory Cards Space Got Drastically Decreased.

I have been using a 4gb memory card out of which 3.6 was usable. One day, I connected it to my chromebook and transferred a few files and directly pulled the wire off forgetting about ejecting the device and turning the usb mass storage off. Then I opened the file manager it was showing total storage:447MB and availabel storage:447MB. pls help me with this problem.
Here you go
First point first - Backup your data
I assume that you have access to a Windows or a Linux desktop...
For Windows you will need Minitool Partition Wizard Free Version...
For Linux - GParted will do the job...
----------------------------------------------------------
For your specific problem, it appears to me that the primary partition of your SD card is accidentally shrunk...
So, Plug in your SD card
Open up Minitool Partition Wizard or GParted, find your SD card.....
... and if I am right, you can see 2 or more partition in your SD card
[Make sure you have backed up your data before proceeding]
1. Delete all of the partitions present in your SD card one by one (right click on the partition to find 'delete')
2. You will now end up with an unallocated space of size of your SD card.
3. Right click on that unallocated partition and Create
4. Make sure your new partition is Primary, NOT LOGICAL, and FileSystem = FAT32
5. Apply your changes, and your SD card will be showing it's full capacity.
Thank you I will try it out and let you know if it works
One reason may be that your sd card has some bad sectors due to which some part of the sd card may not be accessible or maybe there is some kind of virus in your sd card. Actually it happened with me also but in my case it was my pen drive and the reason was some of the sectors were not working properly and at last pen drive did'nt work at all....
If that is the reason wouldn't formatting the sd card work out.
