My HTC magician is creating problem and its camera is not working. When i push camera or when i tap the camera icon from programs, the phone gets stucked and hanged. I have to do soft-rest in order to use the phone.
please help me in this context and send me any fixture or work out so that i can use camera.
is there any body who can help me in this context. I am unable to use my mobile. please help me in this context.
Please tell me, which ROM Version you are using.
I had problims with rotating the screen (which is requered for the Camera application) with the latest ROMs (1.13?)

i am using an o2 mini with 1.12 rom (big storage)
i use the following today pluggins and have installed them all in STORAGE :
wisbar advance
weather panel
pocket breeze & contact breeze
i launcher
well the result is .... bluetooth icon disappears and somehow its been doing it more frequently since the big storage change !!!!
is their any way it could be linked ???
and
what is the solution for this disappearing icon ???? (something that would solve this permanently)

Pocket Breeze is the problem software.
I asked for support long time ago but the developer said they dont have the device (e.g. xda II) so they cant fix it.
You can use buzz BT switch and add it on the today screen by the traylaunch.

actually it is not always pocketbreeze's fault some experience this problem without pocketbreeze. the solution is in the pocketbreeze forums. I have this same issue on my i-mate JAM (HTC Magician) and the solution fixes it. http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2156&hl=

I installed WM2005 1.70.96WWE II from the link given in the forum. I also installed radio 1.08. The phone works excellently well except for the fact that my camera does the following:
1. camera resolution is bad (compared to wm2003)..btw i have an imate pocket pc(basic version).
2. camera is rotated.
3. camera button(after re allocation of shortcut) works and application loads up.However the photos dont click.
Some one please help out.. Its real urgent .

I must say I have been pretty impressed the way this forum has been run by you fellas. I get to learn a lot of things in these pages.
I have installed the new Windows Phone 6.5. Below is the link to it.

All the credit goes to MietasSR who ported this ROM to the Tornado.
I think the ROM is quite stable and is safely usable. I really loved the Zune interface ( a.k.a Sliding Panel Interface ) and so I am glad now . It is still faster than any of the Standard ROMs I tried on my device but a bit slower than the excellent Kamikadze's RC7 WinMo 6.1
NOTE:There is no camera app in this. As it is unnecessary for me, I don't care. And for those who don't know how to unlock, just press the Home key for long until you get a cursor and then use it to unlock. You can return to the classic style of unlocking ( left soft key and 0 ) by going to Settings>Lock>Display and choosing the Windows Classic option.URL

Not as Good as 6.1 ,
Speed is not also Too Good , But if Use OmapClock then it become Good,
There are some settings that After install You should Do
like
Enable Classic Lock ,
In power Option Disbale auto Device off
Etc
and i install TCPMP and i have installed the smartphone version and it is installed as PPC version ,
mean i must enable the Cursor for using it , ( can be use with hot keys)
overall this release is Compromisable , Need Improvments
The Most i like , it was Its Theme , that have a Awesome look
also The signals come 0 after every few minutes then takes few seconds to go back to 100%

True. This needs improvement. The work was incomplete and the "chef" MietasSR clearly specified that. its working satisfactorily for most uses. I hope anyone else could continue the excellent work that he started. I am willing to learn and do it too, just need the packages so that I can cook a new ROM. I hope I can find the details through Google and anyways this forum is of great help too. I didn't observe the signals problem you referred to.

I opened a new thread as I wanted other people to know that there is already a working 6.5 ROM for Tornado. The link to it was buried in a thread which had a discussion about porting 6.5 to Tornado and multiple requests for the same. Normally there is a new thread for a new ROM and wherein users can post queries, comments and suggestions.

problem is, if i turn off the phone, turn it on, the application is changed to white windows icon and the application is not accessible anymore.

Try removing the storage card and putting back again. I too faced this problem then I figured out it was because of loose connections. Just make sure that the card sits properly in the depression and lock it in properly before putting the battery.

It is Professional.
This version is of an earlier build and misses on a few areas.
Look for MeitasSR's 23016 build 6.5 ROM in this forum.

I read somewhere on a blog that Vodafone 845 aka Huawei Joy will have a Android v2.2 (froyo) update, but it's still in the making.
I'll say this, if they don't do it, that would be a clear mistake on Vodafone's behalf. Because, although V845 is a ****ty product (in marketing standards), it's also the flagship of Vodafone's "brand" right now. And that says a lot of a multinational company like Vodafone...

i bought vodafone joy 845 and it's realy nice and works realy good.Everything goes well but i have a problem with the wallpapers wich makes me angry.It makes the wallpapers i choose to place huge and i don't know what to do and where i can find wallpapers suitable for it....any ideas?

I've got this toy as well, but after a while something wrong happens. When it starts, is loading very slow and when I have to confirm touching touch screen ... nothing happens... or is like touch screen isn't calibrated . So my Vodafone 845 remains on that screen for ever. I can use "Emergency dial" and "Change Language" with the keys under the touch screen. Tried to reset it with restarting and pressing "volume up" key, reset was successful but when it restarted got the same problem. Any solutions?

You will need to flash a custom ROM that doesn't contain the camera packages (software). However, these ROMs are not available, as far as I know.
Can you give me the link for a good ROM with cool look and battery backup!
If you want one without a camera package, you'll probably just have to download someone's kitchen and remove the camera stuff. Are you sure the company would still let you use the phone? If it were my company, I wouldn't. All you'd need to do is install a cab to get the camera working again.
