Hi UK Tytn II users....
I upgraded my TYTN-II from HTC Original RUU WM 6.1 released last month... But after using couple of days i realised that its not stable... So i tried insatlling 21-2-08 RUU... But when i tried to download RUU from HTC... it always takes me to the Middle EAST RUU download...
Though i bought my TYTN-II from UK in OCT but presently i am in Pakistan; so it looks like that because of my current geographical location HTC only allow me to download the ME RUU's... and the ME RUU always keeps telling me that " THIS UPGRADE IS NOT FOR YOUR DEEVICE " ERROR # 924
If anyone from UK just log in to HTC and then provide me the download link of the RUU .... That would solve my problem...

I've bought a UK htc G1, I've unlocked it and updated with the latest htc firmware.
Now the build number is: "dream_devphone-userdebug 1.5 CRB21 147201 test-keys"
The phone works grat with the italian vodafone but I can't find skype in the Android Maket.
How can I have the full Android app list?

Anybody that have got the original 32A rom that comes preinstalled with the phone? I want to put it back an I didn't make nandroid backup when I installed a hero rom. The phone is not vodafone and not google branded, it's the official HTC magic made in Taiwan

You might be able to find an official updater for other regions on the HTC website

ROM Version: 3.03.990.6 (For SMARTONE-VODAFONE)
this rom build version is higher than singapore.
hope it comes with s-off and non-perfect spl.
I;m gonna flash it but need to make a gold card first just in case.

HTC announced along time ago that Sense will NOT be released for 32B.

So... In that web you can read: ROM Version: 3.03.990.6 (For SMARTONE-VODAFONE)
I think magics from vodafone are 32B.

Looks like it's for 32A devices despite what it says.
If someone with a 32A could try their S/N we'd know for sure.

This doesn't mean higher
the rule of version of htc ruu is:
3.03 is the version of the rom
990.6 is the region code,,

No it isn't. Sense will not be officially released for 32B versions. The HTC Magic is generally called (Vodafone) in their productline and this is a mistake. If the product line was correct, there would be no such thing as a 32A.
Stick to the announcements and you would know this. This is also why S/N keys arnt working.

I bought my HTC Magic in Hong Kong on 08/2009. I tried a lot of the roms in this forum. The last of them was [ROM][32A][Nov07] MyHero 2.0.5 with Official SenceUI on HTC Kernel 2.6.27
Now I upgrade to this rom as the original one from Htc and I lost my rooting and can't install my languge fonds.
Can somebody help me fix it Please

Tempted to flash...
I'm temped to flash my (BE) Proximus Vodaphone Magic (32A) with this ROM especially since I received an official reply from HTC that Vodafone branded Magics will never receive a Sense UI upgrade from HTC.
My question is if it is safe to use this ROM.

I am sorry, but although HTC has not yet released a Sense update to its own Hero devices, it will never be released for Vodafone branded Magics. The With Google logo on the back restricts the device to being used with the standard Android UI and therefore cannot be loaded with any other form.
HTC are not responsible for updating your device, this is done by Google and Vodafone without any involvement from us.

Do you carefully read? That ROM is for SMARTONE-VODAFONE HongKong...
Why people flash ROMs, which belonged to other country???
stu-k, wait until HTC will post official ROM for Czech Republic
Or you can ask tech-support for old version of official ROM. I didn't find any ROM at Vodafone Czech Site.
Or you can flash old RUU ROM smaller then 3.03 via GoldCard (may be will help...)
HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373): Does anybody have a valid Singapore serial number for this model that they could share with me? I live in Taiwan and bought this phone here last year. As only Traditional Chinese (CHT) language version is available in this market, the HTC retailer here installed the Worldwide English (WWE) language version of WM6.1 which I believe came from Singapore.
Now I am trying to upgrade to the latest WM6.5 (ROM version: 2.07.707.1), but still again, only the CHT version is available to download from the HTC Taiwan website. Therefore, I need a valid Singapore serial number for this phone model in order to download the WWE version from the HTC Singapore website.
Have already tried the serial number HT961L100031 that was previously posted on this site (06OCT09 – Active Stock HTC ROM serials) but it doesn’t work. Any help will be most appreciated!
You can always try a cooked ROM from XDA, that on my opinion are much better than any "offical" ROM.
You won´t need any serial and you can flash a WWE ROM.
