I cant use rom SuperD1101 and 1102.when my phone start.there is note: the process com.google.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try agian.
I cant down sort from market. please hepl me.

I have this problem too. So I flashed CSDI V4 by Malign.. SUPER

Read the Directions Carefully. It says that you have to flash the Defanged to get everything to work.

install the rom correctly next time by putting the base rom first
Sent from my T-Mobile G1 using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk

AS you should have read (from the SuperD OP and this post), you most likely flashed over a different base, you MUST use the defanged drc83 base.
Also, this could have EASILY been answered in the SuperD original thread or in the Q & A forum, this has nothing to do w/ development

thank so much.thank everybody

oh, i used to have that problem all the time until i clicked on the

[ROM][MyTouch3G / 32B] Android 1.6 App Pak (Donut) Powered by CyanogenMod v4.1.11.1

This Rom is CyanogenMod v4.1.11.1
See thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539744
I've not had much time to Do much to this rom, But Calendar is working now for me ( Was getting error's ).
Change log will follow when I get more time to play with it.
as always, Be sure to thank Cyanogen if you enjoy this Rom.
Now, If you encounter an issue with the Flipclock widget, Don't delete!!!
Just reboot the Phone & it will load correctly, same for other widgets as well.
Android 1.6 App Pak Rom:
http://www.4shared.com/file/134205901/bb9ecd83/android16.html
Is this rom for 32B devices?
should work fine.
Rom works fine-verry good job
Thank's eugene373&Cyanogen.
I was able to update from CM-4.0.4 without much difficulty, but now getting FC error when trying to switch from Android keyboard to Touch Input:
(process com.htc.android.htcime)
I am googling to see if there are known issues, but will mess with it some more. The new Market is pretty slick.
Thanks.
Edit: Just realized this isn't a thread for 4.1.11.1 itself.

I had this issue as well. You need to actually unzip the CM-4.1.11.1 ROM and locate the HTC-IME.apk and install. This HTC keyboard will then work after using this .apk

Ah, the one I tried to install was the HTC-IME.apk from the CM-4.0.4 stable ROM, and also the one from the SDK. I may try the one from 4.1.11.1 a little later, but when I tried the other two, it kept saying it would replace a file that already exists. I tried uninstalling using AppManager, but whenever I opened AppManager it would just load and load and not actually show me what was installed. After switching back to CM-4.0.4, AppManager and the HTC-IME work fine.
I'll try again with the 4.1.11.1 ROM and the HTC-IME.apk from the 4.1.11.1 ZIP and post back with my results.
EDIT: I am still having trouble with AppManager, but at this point I could care less about that. I did get 4.1.11.1 installed again, and got the HTC_IME to work using this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=558134
Is the App Manager no working in this build? Please post issues regarding this Rom in Cyanogen thread if you are using his Build.
If using mine Please Let me know and I'll try and get it Fixed for you.

That's Really Odd, Did you Format you Fat32 ext2 /3 Partition.
Be sure to do this, Wipe, Flash. Reboot & Format is my Rule of thumb.
oh the only thing ive done was wipe and flashed my bad lol
Fast, seems stable.. Appmanager doesnt work with 1.6! Very Nice. Have to download the apppack next. Great work, keep it up!!!
I've tried everything still getting bootloops
Sorry I don't understand, what's the difference between this and cyanogen's own release?
I've been running 4.1.11.1 (with enochx theme) for the last few days and it is by far the best ROM out. Who needs Hero bloatware when this is available?
Well if you would have downloaded it you would have saw the Apps.
I Reverted the Calendar to an older build as I got FC.
As for now, I've not had time to do much to it.

Didn't say it was for 32a, I've really not had time to play with it, Just repacked it with tons of apps.
Any problem switching to this from JACxROM 1.4r3?
I have a2sd, partitions and compcache enabled, will everything run just fine? I'm asking because I found somewhere in the xROM post to be careful when using a2sd from other sources...

[KERNEL][MT3G 1.2/LE Fender] CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1 kernel patch *PROPER*

Here's the kernel for CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1.
THIS UPDATE.ZIP WILL ONLY WORK WITH STOCK CYANOGENMOD 4.2.15.1
Please install STOCK CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1, then install this update using the recovery image.
This kernel is exactly the same as Cyanogen's, except it has support for the myTouch 3G 1.2 / LE Fender, and a fix for some memory corruption that caused system crashes on that phone.
UPDATED 2010-05-01
Remapped some of the I/O memory to an address outside of vmalloc (stability)
Updated the binder patch
UPDATED PATCH ONLY 2010-05-02
Accuracy correction for the binder patch commit message, no code affected.
UPDATED 2010-05-03
Fixed zone alignment (stability)
This updates fixes the last crashing bug that I have reports for.
update.zip (also attached): http://zenthought.org/tmp/kernel-cm-4.2.15.1-mt3g_3.5mm-118.zip
kernel patch (for developers only, against cyanogen's 2.6.29-donut): http://zenthought.org/tmp/android-msm-2.6.29-donut-from-zinx-20100503.zip
My paypal is chriszenthought.org.
Great job!
Downloading now...flashing soon!
Not a Port
For some confused, this is not a port, this is not one of those roms with drivers cooked and hacked out of the stock boot image. This is an actual kernel update adding actual support for the MT3G 3.5mm hardware, as such CM's full kernel features should work just like they would on a G1/Dream or Magic 32B.

Heh.....I thought there was something odd going on.
Updated with some stability fixes, see first post for latest version.
1. Root myTouch 3G 1.2 (goldcard, etc.)
2. Just follow regular myTouch 3G instructions at
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Full_Update_Guide_-_G1/Dream/Magic32A_Firmware_to_CyanogenMod
3. Right after flashing Cyanogen Mod 4.2.15.1, flash this kernel update without restarting in between.
Is that all correct?

Mostly, except do make sure you flash DRC83_defanged_base.zip before CM 4.2.15.1. You'll have messed up Google apps otherwise, which may lead to stuff not working / "reboots" (system_server crashes) / etc.
Fixed the remaining known crash bugs in #118 (2010-05-03).

mic issue
Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to this but I've invested about 12 hours of reading before even touching this phone, the mytouch 3g 1.2. I used Unlockr's guide to root
theunlockr.com/2010/03/11/how-to-root-the-mytouch-1-2-and-fender-mytouch
and instead of flashing the custom fender rom, went straight to:
DRC83_base_defanged.zip
update-cm-4.2.15.1-signed.zip
kernel-cm-4.2.15.1-mt3g_3.5mm-118.zip
through the amon ra recovery after wiping data and dalvik. After, everything was working great, no issues at all. Then I flashed
CM-4215_CHM_BinaryRelease+AdvLaunch.zip
and it flashed over great but now I seem to have a mic issue as the person on the other line is having a real hard time hearing me. I re-flashed all roms after another wipe minus binary's theme and the problem persists. I also followed this troubleshoot:
androidforums.com/all-things-root-mytouch/59744-mic-not-working-properly-after-rooting.html
which didn't help. Any idea's?

Sadly, I don't know enough about the MT3G 1.2/LE Fender to know if this is in the kernel or userspace. I do know my kernel patch for 2.6.29-donut vs. 2.6.33-ds is identical. This is a little hard for me to track down without a device

Right here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=722122
I know it has links BUT they are broken... 404 - Not Found
He mentioned before the 0.1 release that he was working on the gapps so since I don't see anything changed in the .1 release I think gapps are the only new thing.
Ok for some reason when I flash included gapps nothing happens ... no Gmail no market nothing at all downloaded multiple times flashed, wiped formatted all, still nothing... even booted first before flashing
..
this is what i found that works
calls/data
txt msgs
mms send/recive
wifi
wifi tethering
all the gapps work
what doesn't work
camera
senors/lights
gps
there maybe more but that is all i found so far on 0.1
camera!?
lol, if thats all that doesnt work this may as well be my daily.
This has become my daily. I don't need GPS I can use a map if I need to and the lights not coming on save in battery. My phone has been unplugged since 8am and I am at 57%. I also tossed in one of Deca's kernels. My only concern @ this point is Gmail not working. But I can get the gist of them in the few seconds they do open for. As for the camera not working it is winter in Washington it is always dark here it seems. So you need a flash.
mmm gingerbread.
forgive me if you think I'm being an ass, but why in the world does this tread exist, and why is it in development? The AOSP gingerbread ROM thread is already a place for discussion, and it contains the actual development. I think when somebody asked earlier "where's the download link?" they were actually asking "why is this thread in development?" only in a sarcastic way. If you want to know what is different in AOSP's rom you have to READ the thread near when he updates, the answers are always there, just not from AOSP himself.
Peace and love.
Well we have a thread disscusing the cm6 nightlys and that download link doesn't even work anymore and yeah maybe people are just being lazy and don't want to read though 90 pages of replies but if there was a problem with where the these is located I'm sure a mod would move it so instead of sharing ur negativity and post something positive or thread related and let the mod's do their job. No this does work with Firerat's mod just takes some tweaks
First follow the directions for the recovery that's all the same
but inorder for it to be stable you then need to wipe/formart everything and flash the first alpha and decafuct if you wish then the fr boot zip
reboot, once booted reboot recovery and flash the old gb gapps and reboot
once that boots up reboot recovery and flash aospGBMod-v.01 zip and reflash decafuct if you wish and then the FRboot zip again then reboot
once that has booted if maket doesn't show up reboot recovery and flash the old gb gapps again and you should have the market
for some reason the new gb apps don't work with firerat's mod the market never shows up and if you download the vending app from the internet and install it just fc and never opens
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8571811/gapps-mdpi-20101020-gb-signed.zip here is a link to the old gb apps if anyone needs them

Not trying to be negative, and the answer to lazy non-readers is never another thread. BTW the nightlies thread was posted by darch, who is the maintainer of the heroc for cyanogen, and that thread is actually used to help develop the rom (this one isn't, I doubt AOSP will follow two threads for his one rom). also, the nightlies thread has 7000+ posts, so if the logic were to open a new thread at 90 pages, well, you get my point..... If this should be here than great, it just doesn't seem like it should.
yeah your probably right aosp probably won't follow two treads but maybe this thread will keep the guys trying to test for aosp closer on the other tread and all other questions can be disscused here and i don't think your an ass i think you have a point of view just like i do. But just cause you and i know what we are doing most of the time doesn't mean there aren't people on here that don't know what they are doing and if having two treads helps them and us out so be it if this tread dies so be it but only time will tell give time this tread could become just as usefully as the nightly thread but we can't tell on only the short time it's been up

A simple mod alert on the first post asking a mod to move the thread to Q&A or General would work. If nothing happened, then it was meant to be.
I agree, however, that this isn't needed. Esp since it's now outdated and no ROM development is happening here.

[ROMS] Fixed Roms For Use With EC01 (ED01) Radio (USCC ONLY)

THESE ROMS ARE FASCINATE ROMS. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING THE FOLLOWING:
EC01 (ED01) Fascinate Radio
Fascinate Kernel
IF YOU ARE NOT USING ALL OF THE ABOVE DO NOT FLASH THESE ROMS
See dfgas' post here for getting ec01 set up intially
Now that you've been properly warned, here's my intro:
I am not the creator of these roms. I merely edited the necessary files to make them work for mesmerize users running ec01 setup. These rom's have been bug tested and are being developed by the fascinate guys, they will get issues resolved as they are able. Since we are using their firmware, we may have bugs or issues that they may not be experiencing and those should be kept to this forum.
Any and all risk and liability is on you. If your phone breaks, call the wahmbulance. I've tested all these roms on my phone so they worked when I upped them.
These roms are for USCC users only, on mesmerize phones running TW kernels.
See original fascinate threads for installation methods.

Great. We encourage people to dig in and try stuff. You should upload anything you do for the rest of the community as well.
so I got the EC01 installed....checked my regular USCell setup and everything worked still....So i went ahead and installed the OTB-Reloaded TouchWiz ver 1.1 Kernal.....everything's good......but when I tried to install the fixed Rom (evil) for Mesmerize....it just didn't work.....it said install aborted (bad)
any pointers? I'm downloading Blackhole 4.4 and am going to give that a go...
and yes, lagfix was disabled!
I tried the Evil one as well, and I got constant bootloops... I redid everything from scratch (Stock) and tried again, it got into the ROM but many FC's... Then I wipe Cache and Dalvik, and it went back to Bootloops... Tried at least 4 times..
However Blackhole works just fine using the same procedure ...
Shame because the last ROM on that list seems like the best... Oh well will try out Blackhole..
EDIT::: In fact after all that messing to get the Radio files on etc, it made no difference whatsoever on my 3G Speeds... The ping went down, but everything else is the same speed wise...still averaging out at 1mb a sec tops...
Well back to Stock EC10 and Mesmerize SuperClean ROM for me for now.... Was fun trying tho

I have the same issues with otb-reloaded kernal. The original OTB worked great. My suggestion is to use jt's 4/15 release to get things going. Once you get to ec01 installed and working, then try going to a different kernel.
leave jt's kernel in place until you get your rom of choice loaded.

You can send it to me and I can host it on my peronal server.
Or you can come up with option three on your own, lol.

1) Reflashed the Stock EC10 onto the mesmerize (fresh no data on it.. like out of the box)
2) Flashed Clockwork Mod and EC01 Radio to phone.. Checked it booted. Booted ok
3) Installed the JT Kernel (disabled Lagfix so it would not do any of that)
4) using CWM installed the Evil Fixed ROM from the OP
Booted, and it comes up with the boot logo.. Then does the Vibrate followed by three more Vibrates.. and reboots. keeps doing this till battery is pulled..
Then I tried wiping Cache and Dalvik, get the same thing...
Thats when I gave up.. after trying it three times....
I've heard others have issues with the evil rom. I have fixed the 3.1 update and will upload it shortly. You could try that one and see if the issue is fixed.

Fixed version of Evil Fascination 3.1 is up.
SO, I am running the EC01 radio with the fascinate MIUI ROM. all is working (to the extent of the MIUI abilities), and so far I'm happy as a clam. Ill upload the zip to megaupload as soon as I can.

EDIT: Zip file uploaded. CRAP. At first the changes I made to build.prop didnt stick, and it actually worked just fine. After making the changes and making them stick, now every time the phone boots it's sluggish and the "system" force closes. It only does it once, when you first boot. Any thoughts, anyone? It may be worth mentioning, near the bottom of the build.prop file, there was this line: "net.cdma.pppd.user=user VerizonWireless" i did not change it to anything different, like uscc or whatever... it wasnt mentioned in the needed changes.

Ebay phone, custom rom

Ok so i cracked my HD2 screen last month.... .... anyway it was stock windows mobile and i hacked and slashed it myself to put android into nand. I'm quite familiar with how that works....
I bought a used inspire 4G off ebay and it already came loaded with cleardroid 1.3.1. It's my first android phone ever so i'm not really familiar with all the hacking and slashing stuff. I'm assuming a couple of things must have already been done to it since its running a custom rom but i'm not sure whats in it.
I looked at the Advanced Ace Hack Kit thread and it says not to run it if i have S-off or have a custom rom........ so... where do i stand, how do i check whats been done to it.
You have a custom recovery and are all set to install your own ROMs. If Clockworkmod is not installed download the app from Market. Flash the latest recovery and have fun installing ROMs. S-off is good to go. The old owner had to do it to install the ROM that is currently on it.
You're good, bro. Previous user made it easier on you. No need for Ace Hack Kit or anything. Go download ROM Manager and flash ClockworkMod Recovery. If you like ClearDroid, keep it. If not, go download "Absolution" or "CM7.1" for stock and put it on your SD card, go into Clockwork, select Install Zip from SDcard, find the .zip for Absolution or CM, let it do it's work, and ta-da, you've got AOSP Android.

Or you could just go with MIUI.
Best rom IMO.

There's also a stock, rooted gingerbread rom (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192372) and if you're looking for a good sense rom that works well and isn't really modded, check out android revolution.
cheers and welcome to the community

Before you do Any flashing, I would do yourself a favor and read read and search the forums for any helpful tips. Check out 4ext recovery themes by cwhitney24 over in the absolution thread way better than rom manger. Always make a backup and remember to wipe front to back. Wipe data cache and dalvic cache when switching roms
Thanks for the tips i went ahead and flashed mike1986. ROM....
I was accustomed to using Sense 3.5 on my HD2 but 3.0 isn't too far off and the ROM is great.
A couple of things I noticed:
in hardware it says bluetooth 3.0 but i know the phone doesn't have that, I'm assuming it hasn't actually been upgraded to 3.0.
I only have about 1GB of ROM space after flash, searched around and appears this is normal...couldn't really get a solid answer as to where the other 3GB vanished to.
Hopefully this time around the gorilla glass + otterbox will take a better beating than my poor HD2....

You only have 3gb of space on your phone really. Its due to how the phone is formatted. There are tons of threads about this. And sense Roma ate big so no surprise that it takes up so much space. Enjoy

Uhh.. seems like I'm having problems flashing a new radio.
I flashed mike's new Android Revolution HD 6.2.0 ROM just fine but he recommends 12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M radio.
I downloaded the zip on his thread and followed the directions but it failed ! I currently have 12.56.60.25P_26.10.04.03_M radio.

Did you try to flash it in recovery?
You can't flash a radio from recovery.
I wish ROM cookers would stop with this "recommended radio" crap. The radio you have is fine (with the exception of 12.39.60.19 shipped on a few early Inspires--it had bad battery drain).

You should read the inspire radio thread pretty well before working with flashing radios.

And I would highly suggest not trying to get radio s-off for flashing radios in recovery, and instead just use the PD98IMG.zip method in the bootloader.
