Kernel for [32A] Motorola Cliq by Raiderx303 & Drizzy"(Alpha-test)

Alright, so im itching to tryout the Blur ROM. Last night I wanted to try out the preliminary rom Drizzy had up on my 32A Magic. I figured since the rom is based off of cupcake a version of the cupcake kernel should make it work.
I then tried the rom with Cyan's 4.04 kernel. No luck. After this i tried watever kernels i had on my SD card at the time. So that included myhero, evilhero (these two were really just for kicks), hofo kernel. None of these worked.
So I wanted to know if you guys know which kernel will make it work if there are any existing ones which will make it work... And if not could someone make a kernel ? Thanks for the input
Yea, same problem here. Cant wait till someone ports it or points to a working 32a kernel.

Compiling from source for Sensation (TMOUS)

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to compile my own source ROM for my Sensation 4g (TMOUS) My HBoot is 1.17.000 revolutionary unlocked. My compile from google source gingerbread 2.3.4 (to match version htc is using) went ok however with no lunch or envsetup option for the Sensation my full-user make showed compiling for generic. I have tried fastboot flashing my compiled userdata and system img files to my phone along with my default sense kernel (kernel from TMOUS rom 1.5 made from clockwork recovery) to find that it doesn't get past the white htc screen. I'm interested in compiling and sharing this ROM with the public however finding I'm a little lost on next steps.
In the court of public opinion, what would my next steps be? Is my lack of booting due to the sense kernel and instead should I try using a kernel like trinity cm7/asop kernel? Is my lack of booting even kernel related?
Any advice I would greatly appreciated and once I can get this thing running I will be glad to give credit where due and distribute any modified files. Also, if I run across any additional information that might help anyone I will update this post.
PS - I know ICS is out and it might seem odd to try with gingerbread to start (along with using 2.3.4 instead of 2.3.7) however my rationale is that by trying to stay as close to the gingerbread rom HTC provides version wise I might have the best shot at compatibility.
Thanks everyone.
Various ROM developers have IRC channels. It might be worthwhile trying and asking a developer on there, just don't bug them too much.

[Completed] Modifying stock kernel

Good afternoon. I appoligise for the noob question but is there a way I can edit (I want to add overclock to a kernel) an already made (compiled?) kernel instead of having to completly build the kernel from source? For example, is there a way I can unpack a boot.img and modify the kernel, repack the boot image, and flash it instead of (in my case) going to Sony Developer World and compiling an AOSP kernel from source, I can just modify the frequencies of the CPU in the kernel the phone is currently running and reflash it? Sorry for the complicated and stupid question, i'm very new to kernel modifying... Thanks for any responses and/or help. ^^
Hi
Thank you for using XDA Assist.
There's an explanation in XDA University to have a few features like OC: http://xda-university.com/as-a-developer/adding-features-to-your-kernel
Good luck.
