Bottom Bar - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I'm looking for the most basic bottom bar. No buttons, just transparent with nice font. Currently I have steve0007 bottom bar
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=637858
Which is nice, but would prefer it without the buttons.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.

There are at least 4 different cabs that can remove the start menu and buttons. You'll find them, if you do a quick search.

here are the cabs I use to remove the X and start menu. there is also one if you want to keep the X.

Thank you.

No problem ... I myself love the look and I really don't need the Start Menu twice and don't need an X button when the back button does the same thing.

I like that, but it would be nice the bottom bar buttons to be transparent
do you think can be done?

there are themes for that ..... Energy ROMs include some

making softkeys "bigger"

hi,
how can i make the softkeys (that are the 2 in the touch-area at the bottom, right?) react on fingerpresses on the zoombar?
for example: on the manila email tab, usually the softkeys are named "inbox" and "menu". I want to open the "inbox", when i press on the zoombar at the location 5-15%, that is the area directly under "inbox".
I saw this feature while i played around with several roms, but forgot to write down the rom.
kind regards,
macfly.
on a similar note, itd be great to hide the slider bar on the screen and use the scroll bar to switch between touchflo tabs.

Transparent top and bottom taskbars

Hello,
I'm trying to get my top and bottom taskbars transparent. But I have no success.
I tried the cab from smaberg, changed the manila files in windows folder and also removed the taskbar.png with transparent ones.
All this doesn't work for me.
Who has a solution for Manila 2.5.19211619.0.
Thanks.
For transparent taskbars you have to use "HDWall" - search for it
smabergs cab is only for the cutains behind the operator logo and the bottom slider
EDIT:

have fun!
But tbh, this is not a solution for transparency... It just replaces the black backgrounds in the top and bottom with slices of the selected wallpaper, meaning that as long as you can see the top bar, even if in a program, it will have the same slice of the wallpaper.
Real transparency comes for example when you press the windows hard button and get to that menu, that's a real transparent bar at the top... Although it might work in the same way, what do I know. I just find it too ugly that when you're in another program the top bar still has the slice of the wallpaper..

I tried HDWall. But the result is not satisfying. The bottom taskbar is now like the wallpaper. But the top is black. If I go to start menu the background is from the theme only the bottom taskbar is from the wall paper.
If I slide the menu I can't see the background. All is black except the bottom taskbar.
At the end this is ugly.

I played a bit around and deactivated Sense. So there´s the standard WM 6.5.5 homescreen - with transparent taskbar & softbar. Why isn´t this possible with Manila?

How can I replace HTCblack_softkeybar and HTCblack_taskbar?

I have the files, but I don't know how or where to put them, exactly.
Please, can someone tell me where to place them and how?
- HTCblack_taskbar
- HTCblack_softkeybar
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Can you give us a bit more information about what you are wanting to do?
Are you wanting to replace the stock taskbar and and softkey bar with something new?
If so, perhaps this thread will be of interest:

I want to replace the bottom bar and not mess up the taskbar icons, pinscreen and volume control.
So far, I've tried installing a bottom bar by cab, and it does all three of these things.

I installed the black glossy taskbar from the link above and it has done nothing but change the taskbar and softkey graphics. No icons, volume control etc items have been modified.
copy them to Windows directory in device memory

Removing Start button from task bar.

I have a HTC HD2 and was wondering if it is possible to remove the Start button from the top left hand corner of the screen? I am running a SPB theme and think it would look better minus this Start button. I want to keep the taskbar and the icons on it but the start button has to go. Thanks for any help!
not without using a whole shell replacement like

What you could do is use a blank .ico for start and remove the start text, the only problem is you may have the thin white line still as separator.

Im looking For main screen editor app..

HHello, im looking for Main screen Editor app. I got CHT 2.0 But i want something like i could move ''Start'' button to other place, for exmaple to down left corner.
To make other Battery icons, etc etc
The only way to move your start button (to bottom left) is to flash a 6.5.x based rom....
Battery icons can be acheived by installing a diferent taskbar.
There is no app that will do these things for you im afraid.
Hope that helps.
