Hi!
Is there any way to maybe install titanium on a rom, after installing the rom on a mobile?
It has not been possible yet to install CHome without having to flash a ROM.
Cheers,
EC

This is a newbie question, but if I decided to install a new rom do i lose all my settings and programs installed?
For example, if I go from TNT's rom to an SNN rom would i lose all my settings, contacts, and programs?
If so, can i avoid this some how?

Changing Rom means complete change of OS,it'll replace the present OS and delete all the settings/contacts and programs, but however, some programs/applications,which at present in your phone, might be already included in the new Rom you flash.
Well, yes!you can save your contacts and messages by backing up your present contacts/mssgs to your pc with a back up program ' PIMbackup' and after flash of new Rom,they can be moved back to your phone again.
about the Rom (21193)
this rom cannot install Titanium plugins?
all new Titanium plugins i've installed don't display on today screen
but i can see them in chome customization (and it is actived.).why..
Hi guys.. i hope this is not a known question and wasnt asked a hundred million times but :
i installed spb backup on my phone, before doing a romuprgade 1.48--> 1.66
i made an fullbackup and also an incremental backup ( only the pim info and the sms ...) to test it.
it upgraded to the newer rom, and as it should be it says in system info 1.66.. after putting a full backup restore on my phone , to have also the installed programms on it.. it jumped back saying in the sys menu , that i am using 1.48 ( but the newer radio version wich was installed by the rom is still the new one )
by doing a incremental backup restore it keeps saying 1.66 but i dont have my programms and the stuff installed..
is this a displaying bug, or does it rly puts on a lower rom version again?
can i test if my 1.48 has the 1.66 bugfixes?
i hope you guys can understand waht i mean and thx ahead
I think you'll find it will be some glitch, your rom definately will
not have been downgraded. SPB Backup is not designed to restore
files across differen rom versions/manila versions/windows mobie versions.

i've been using sprite backup now for a while...and that happens if you do a full system restore. that is the newer rom (which in your case is 1.66) reverts back to 1.48 because all the files of 1.48 have been restored. whereas, if you're using sprite backup, and perform a restore data level 3 (only program files, system data, pim system settings & menu are restored and none of the rom files are changed. that is leaving you with your new rom 1.66 as fast and stable as it was from the hard reset.
Hi I have installed in my htc pure spb mobile shell, after that I installed "Espresso Theme" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5455081&postcount=1782). Now I want to change my rom but I want to back up my personal configuration en "Espresso Theme", so my question is...
Did somebody knows what folder did I have to back up to after ROM, reinstalled spb, espresso theme, restore?
Thanks for your help.
Although I doubt it will work, just try a backup software like sprite backup. Or you can try cooking your own rom with all of that stuff all ready to go
I am running the FRG01B build that was manually updated and am rooted with rom manager. I want to install a new rom using rom manager so I can overclock my phone but really do not want to lose my data/apps or have to redownload the apps (I have 209 apps installed). I have MyBackUp Pro and tried to backup everything on the phone but after it has shown "backing up apps" and it is trying to upload my apps to the online servers I am always getting an error. Here is my question: If I don't wipe data when installing a new rom, will it work and if not what will happen? Basically what I want is to install a new rom and after everything installs, my phone is the exact same except the rom itself (app shortcuts are in the same place, ect. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
