What ROM are you using? you might need to reset the default for the dialer, and then it will ask you, normally that is found in settings, applications, manage apps and then look for dialer and then reset to default.

[REQ] Please make me a button - Data connection

Hi,
Is it possible someone to make me a button for "killing the data connection" like the ones that we have to put the bluetooth on/off, and wifi on/off... or even like the reset button. They are really usefull to but on the today screen and acess the funcion of the commanager.
This would allow us to kill the GPRS connection, without going to the commanager, after updating the weather, stock, or even going to the internet...
Anyone?
Thanks

There is one under the quick list menu if that's good enough
I press the end call button to disconnect it....it is a really hassle, it would be nice to have on screen touch to disable it
It sure is a pain, I've been looking for one too. A connection toggle icon would be really neat.
Try this: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=gprofile/about, works very well.

using ver. 1_1
is there more toggles that can be added there?

I updated the first post.
you can still use it but when you scroll the letters are out of order.
And to answer your question, no. we need the htc dailer and people app for their core fuctionality but you can set defaults to use the aosp stuff.
Darchdroid has the full AOSP dailer and I love it. I hate the htc dailer.
This will not install on my CDMA Hero.
During installation it throws this error "Application not installed"
Any idea?
copy it to /system/app/ directory and restart
This would be so cool. But when I hit my hardware phone button, or the phone button in Sence, it brings up recent calls and not that dialer. Any fix?
My phone is HTC CDMA Hero Rooted with DamageControl 2.08

I understood that the device log is not on by default in those devices and the app needs it for monitoring the applications.

Weather Widget

On Cricket idol 3 there is no adjustment I can find to set update interval on the stock accuweather clock weather widget. If you tap on weather it takes you to a larger weather page and settings has no adjustment. Coming from a g3 I was able to set update interval to what I wanted.

Question App optimisation notification

I keep getting notifications that my Tutanota mail app is consuming battery and that it needs to be optimised. But optimisation needs to be disabled for that app in order to get mail notifications from Tutanota.
Is there any way I can disable the system notification telling me that Tutanota is using excess battery?
Long Press the message in notification penal and disable that notification
So simple . Thanks.
Anyone any idea how to remove these notification from Android 13? Long pressing on the notification brings an option to disable the notification but it doesn't work. It's so annoying,
