There is a tvu player application but you need the right TCPMP player with it.
I could get it working on my old HD some time ago but it was kinda laggy. Maybe with the hd2 it will be better
http://pages.tvunetworks.com/labs/mobile.html

This is the job thanks worked a charm

There's already a sort of thread like this.
Here you go: CABS included for TVU and TCPMP
Works on HD2.

So please is TVU Player really working on HD2 ?
My problem is that the channel list is displayed but when i click on a channel nothing happens ?
Many thanks

Streaming Media / Coreplayer

Hi,
I have a quick question / favor to ask. I often times like to stream audio and sometimes video on my device. Sadly, the site I use refuses to work with WMP on the phone. I believe it is an asx stream.
I believe CorePlayer supports this stream, but before I go out and buy it, can someone please be kind enough and verify for me if this stream will play? http://www.megastacja.net/kanaly/CLUB/club.asx
Thank you
PS. I would have checked it myself if there was a demo... sheeee...sh. lol.

The best I can tell. No. CorePlayer won't even allow me to choose a *.flv file from the Open Menu... hidden out.

Download 0.71 RC from here...
http://www.hpcfactor.com/downloads/details.asp?r=B52F0876-B91F-4BB5-AC3F-C1AAAB1AC0D4
I couldn't originally use 0.72 as it crashed every time I ran it. That version worked a treat, but I've since shelled out for CorePlayer and that really is VERY good. Worth the money, in my opinion.
is there any way to run subtitles with coreplayer? or any other? divx mobile doesnt...and in my opinion isnt a good player..

This is my first post so be gentle.
I have installed the .cab but when I click on the track in myspot it asks me to save/open the .ogg file. The same thing happened when I went to tinyurl.com to do the test.
do i need a codec to play .ogg? if so where do I get one?
Thanks
myspot problem
having upgraded to spotify premium to use this prog on HTC HD2 everytime a track starts to load i get exception 0x8000ffff - any ideas?
I installed NanoGroove www.nanogroove.net
which intergartes with Grooveshark. It works perfect everytime and there is as many tracks on Grooveshark to play with as Spotify and you don't need a premium account.
Yes! Spotify will come to Windows Mobile 6.5 within a month!
http://www.winmobile.se/index.php/?p=1371
It runs great on 480×800 touch screens, and supports all features of Spotify including:
Offline mode
Save offline audio files to phone, or storage card
Multi resolution support
Multitasking support – Yes you can run Spotify in the background and play Bubble breaker at the same time
So, for all the people who doubt that the interest in the Windows Mobile platform for developers, see this as a positive development for the platform!

Sopcast & coreplayer

Hi, I'm sure most of you can tell what i am going to ask......
Is there anyway to use coreplayer to stream a video from sopcast, Or just make sopcast work on the HD2? I am in work tomorrow and I would like to watch the Liverpool vs Everton match on my mobile because we keep gettin bollocked by the boss for watchin them on the shop PCs.
Cheers for any help in advance!!
You can stream it from a computer to TCPMP but you can't watch a live Sopcast channel on a Windows Mobile device with any current software to my knowledge.
Besides, even if you could, you would need either wifi or a very fast 3G connection in your workplace.
I have WIFI, thats ok, I just looked at TVU player, that can apparently stream live sports to a winmo device but I cant fond a .cab version!

I'm sorry, i forgot to attach TCPMP. Install this app. (See my first reply, i attached it now). Start TVU mobile, choose you channel, press play and TCPMP will automaticly startup and load that channel.
I works nice, use Wifi obviously. I installed it on SD

Oh okay. That explains it. Thanks so much.
I guess CorePlayer is not supported then as mine did not load up. Still looking around for the SnapDragon version of this though. Hint.
Anyways.
Thanks again Redmen.

I followed you're instructions, but when I choose a channel and press play, TCPMP won't start. Can't get this to work... Any ideas?

First i installed TVU Mobile (the one attached), then installed TCPMP (the one attached). Started TVU Mobile, clicked on a channel and pressed start. Then TVU Mobile starts buffering and automaticly starts TCPMP.
So nothing special. Maybe you can try to run TCPMP in the background while you start TVU Mobile. That could trigger TCPMP.
Is it possible you have Coreplayer as your default player? Could be a reason why it's not working for you.

Still not working. I uninstalled Coreplayer, then soft reset. I uninstalled TVU and TCPMP, then installed them again.
When I start TVU, select a chanel and press play nothing happens. (I am of course connected to wi-fi.) Can't see it starts buffering. I also have tried TCPMP running in the background... Nothing...
how to get the codec..because the codec in this phone not support to play the tv...

I noticed TVU was trying to start a player like TCPMP, so installed TCPMP(the one attached). Did a reset and now, after buffering, TCPMP starts with the chosen channel. Nothing special tbh.
At the 3th Screenshot, you'll see the screen is black. That's because of the Shake&Save app. It always give me a black screen when i "Shake to Save" a movie.
Sweet, I got this working.
Now alls I have to do is find a good channel guide that'll tell me what channels the Liverpool games are on!!
Have the same problem. When choosing a channel, nothing happens, just "current playing <channel number>"
TCPMP won´t open, no buffering, nothing...:-(
Just made a hard reset (with official HTC winmo 6.5 rom) so no extra media players are installed
Sometimes it takes a little longer to load...
Did u use the TVU player attached? Could be a version issue.
I'm running a stock rom with coreplayer and tcpmp installed and it worked first time for me!
I think I prefer this to sopcast as the TVU player has a real TV schedule so I know what channel I need to stream without haveing to start one and check then close and check another!
TVU is not working
Hi there!
i just found this thread, and wanted to watch some tvu channels on my htc hd2. but it doesnt buffer and the tcpmp player shows no pictures...
Hopefully someone can help me with this.
my rom version is: 1.66.407.1
i only have this htc for 2 weeks now, so it would be a lot of help if someone could help me with this!!!
best wishes

ps: all grammatical mistakes are for your entertainment!!
anyone knows something?
Hi
As you know the football season is going be kickin in a few days time. We hope someone fix this problem?
So has anyone got this working properly on their htc hd2? I am having the same problem as users above. When clicking on channel(s) its just buffers and nothing happens after that?
Any ideas or solution for this, many thanks.
p.s May be sopcast should release a mobile version now?
It's still working flawless here. I didn't do anything special, just installed everything as mentioned above. Last week i installed everything again and still no problems.
Just use the files uploaded in this thread, install it in the right order and have a little patience buffering everything before pushing the play button 10 times....
I only use it with WIFI.
Maybe your ROM is not "compatible"? I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this issue.

Vlc player?

Hi All
Is there or is there not a Vlc player for the WM. I have read various forums and followed dead links and would like to know oce and for all does this exist or not and if so does anyone have a working link to the download the app.
Many thanks in advance
Is this is what you're looking for ?
http://portableapps.com/news/2010-02-01_-_vlc_media_player_portable_1.0.5
A.F.A.K there is no VLC the best freebee you will find is TCPMP or if you wish for the up to date version CorePlayer but costs money.
Hi guys
Thanks for the answers and link
I had a look at the portable apps but this is actually for windows 2000 and above, so I think stylez you are correct in saying that as yet the answer is no, but it would be nice if they did make a version, oh well maybe one day.
To bad I found the wrong stuff , thought it looked very promising.
I must say I agree with stylez , Coreplayer and tcpmp is without a doubt the best players for WinMo..
Anyway keep on searching , and maybe you'll find something about the vlc someday, but until then I suggest you use coreplayer
Mod edit:
Do not post warez/cracked software on this forum!
