I am wondering what versions of Exchange Activesync support what versions of Windows Mobile and Vica Versa ? I am having a problem with WM6.5.5 wondering if WM 6.5.5 only supports the activesync that comes with Exchange 2007and no earlier versions?
Any light that can be shed would be appreciated.
I can sync. with exchange 2003 with 6.5.5 ROM.. it might be your ROM issue what ROM are you using and what error code are you getting?

I just got a new computer and I am trying to sync with Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP2, via Microsoft ActiveSync 4.2. The problem that I’m having is that the Contacts are not syncing; no problems with the Calendar or the Tasks. How do I resolve this problem?

I'm having a problem after installed the new HTC Touch Cruise - Windows Mobile® 6.1 Upgrade my activesync returns a error now while connecting to my company exhange server.
The error code is "Support code: 0x80072F06"
It all worked fine before the upgrade with the original WM 6.0 ROM.
Can anyone help me or has/had the same problem?

0x80072F06 is a CN mismatch error. Make sure the name you enter in ActiveSync configuration matches the CN of the ssl certificate on the Exchange box.

solved by changing the address of exchange server.
I have currently TNT 11.0.4.0 installed
Unfortunatly I cannot sync to our company's exchange server (incl SSL) . It keeps giving me 0x85010013 errors. (The admins won't change there policy for me).
Does anybody have any luck with another 6.1 or 6.5 in this setup?

I've had Cracing's HD 2.1 hooked up to an Exchange 2007 box successfully, but it was a bit of a ball-ache getting certificates sorted out (nothing to do with WinMo - certain incompatibilites with Windows 2003, Exchange 2007 and Windows 7 and certificate services auto-enrollment)
The certifactes are ok for my.
Problems is: The company's server has strict security policy enabled. (So my device can be wiped remotly). Ths causes my problem. Si I will move back to 6.0
(The original MS 6.1 works ok too, but is very unstable)

Hi all, I have configurated my imap gmail account on my pc outlook 2007 and is working fine. Now, when try to synchronize my outlook mobile emails with my pc, the mobile doesn't get any email from my computer. It seems like the imap account is not linked with the main outlook folders but to a new imap folder linked to gmail which is not recognized by activesync. The mobile runs under windows mobile 6.1, does anyone had a similar experience? how can I configure my outlook 2007/outlook mobile? I try to configure outlook mobile on my device but it looks like is not possible or must be done automatically when connected to my pc.

bugs on samsung omnia ii firmware
hi all, I've been reading on the internet and found that apparently there are some bugs on the rom of my device (omnia ii) which are partially solved by a new firmware release that can only be flashed at the samsung service center... By the time being it seems like there have been 9 releases but most of them still have any bug so think will wait to the windows mobile 6.5 upgrade which is expected for october. Anyway I do not recomend buying this phone until samsung guarantees that all the problems are solved given that very important fuctions on a smartphone like the e-mail are not working properly.
Hi all, for those organisations that participated in the Exchange Server 2010 Beta there was a new version of Outlook Mobile for PPC 6.0 and 6.1 devices (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4419902).
This version supported the text messaging sync, but also had an improved interface for navigating your mail folders as shown in the link.
However the install would fail on a 6.5 device. I managed to unpackage the install and get it on to my 6.5 device, but it crashed each time.
I presumed this version would come with 6.5, and although this does contain a new version of OM with support for text sync'ing, it doesn't have the UI ... so can anyone help?
