Google Voice Invite??

I went to get setup on google voice and realized it's an invite only deal. Any advise for getting onboard??

Also, if you're a college student, Google has decided to give out invites, but I'm pretty sure you'll need your University Email address to verify.

Tried the first one a while back, no dice. Haven't got a .edu for the second link. Thanks for giving it a shot though, much appreciated!

Have you guys gotten an invite to google + yet? It seems pretty cool so far

I'm waiting....Is there any on there yet really?? Seems like it would only be fun if people you know are using it.

I've got invites, got invited by one on the irc-channel (cant remember his name), so all credits should go to him. Once in you get unlimited invites, so hit me up in a PM with your gmail and i'll invite you when im on the PC again (going to bed now). Once again, do not thank me, and i hope i dont get banned for inviting too many people

No no no, I got my mate to invite me on Tuesday night at about midnight and I didn't receive the invitation email until 3pm the next afternoon, 15 hours later...! Just give it some time! Beta is currently closed, but when you get your email, try and it'll let you know what the story is

I'm just curious...my gmail app was updated last night and now it's some fancy looking app that I can add different accounts to, looks totally different. At the top it says Inbox. Is this the same thing everyone is looking for an invite for?

You're probably referring to the material update for Gmail. Inbox is a separate app/service that is basically a different way to do email and if you don't know if you have it then you probably don't since you need an invite at this point.
That said, if anyone has an invite, I'd love to give it a try :good:

This is not at all in the spirit of XDA.
Requiring thanks for anything is not cool. Asking people to post their email addresses publicly is also foolish.
