I think it's the HTC player (which is presumably just a skinned WMP?).

What should I add to my Tab for a 19 hours flight?

I will have to make a back and forth trip in a couple of weeks that will last about 19 hours per way... so I'm planning to use my Tab to have some fun and try to make time to past by a little bit faster.
Besides putting some movies in it (by the way, to play divx AVI files, do I need anything else than the standard player?), what other programs would you recommend me?
Maybe some puzzle games such as sudoku to pass time? Default media player should be fine but I'd stick rockplayer on there too.
I play a lot of angry birds and let's golf and also use the kindle app a lot.

Aldiko and some ebooks, podkaster and some podcasts maybe?
An audio book or two for while you're playing puzzle games. Flight Control is always an entertaining one for passing time on planes.
If the plane has plugs take the Samsung charger

Hmmm didn't think of Sudoku... I'll have to install it.
I'll test the stock player, if not, I will have to think about a new one...

Android Apps?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question but what are the best mind blowing android apps paid/free that would possibly blow OS iphone out the window ??
swype! not available at the market, but you can sign up for the beta at swype.com
also google sky map.
Hmmm. It got to be all of the Google apps. Swype. SIPDroid. Google Voice (lol which is a google app). Springpad.
Yeah, pretty much all the Google apps. Plus the Super Nintendo emulator AutoDesk Sketchbook Mobile Express is pretty awesome too. As for Swype, it was there on my phone when I got the thing (LG Optimus S).
Aside from that, I'm new to Android myself so I'm curious to see what other people have to say as well.
Google Earth - Or has that been introduced to iPhone? I can't remember...but I personally LOVE it.

Yeah! And best: Apple doesn't want emulators on their phone.
And if you need to impress iPhone Users even more, just show them a youtube video inside the browser - one which says "not for mobile devices" in the youtube app. In dolphin mini I open the youtube video, go down the page an choose "Desktop" for this.

FPse Playstation 1 Emulator for Android

I downloaded FPse two weeks ago and I just wanted to let everyone know that it is the best game app there is. I have placed Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Tekken 3 and Final Fantasy 7, Spyro the Dragon (lol!) on my SD drive and everything is working smooth on my HTC Sensation.
I would recommend this app to everyone who loves Playstation. 2.99 is not a lot to try it out..
Their latest version is going to support multicore, hell yeahhh!
It's much more fun than the normal boring android games!
oooooooo really hahahahahahahahhhaaa

FPSE Best PSX emu for android.
Yes FPse is the best emulator there is... The creator has been working on it for over 10 years on Windows Mobile and has programmed it for Android now, so he knows what he is doing )

Cave games on sale

Just thought. I'd mention this for the shmup fans out there but Dondonpachi, espaluga and Deathsmiles are all on sale. I know they're not play specific but good games nonetheless.

Ah, great - those have been on my wishlist waiting for a price drop. Thanks for the warning!
Is Deathsmiles discounted? Asking because I am unsure if the price I see now has the discount applied (never checked how much it was going for before). Was it more expensive than Dodonpachi and Espgaluda before?
Sweet! Thank you for letting everyone know. I wish there were more shmups

Sine Mora is coming soon - lets just hope it runs on the Xperia Play. Since it is a vertical scroller it will run nice with the dpad.

I think you are a bit messed up there...
Sine Mora is a horizontal shooter, and it's already out, and it runs like ****.
It has 3 graphics options, low-high, but runs really badly.
On PC/PS3/Vita, it is 60fps, and lush, but on Android, it's sub 20fps, motion is crap, controls are on screen, you need a magnifying glass to read the text on the Play, and it's letterboxed to death, nowhere near what it should be.

It's still poor on a tablet, it's letterboxed anyway, and the controls are right under the play area, with silly little buttons, and the fluidity of it is gone.
Like i say, the "real" versions are 60fps with super high detail, smooth as silk, this is just a sloppy port.
If you have a Vita, that would be the portable version to go for.
Hahaha and I just sold my XP last week! Oh well, will buy them anyways. These games are the first thing I'm playing on my next Android phone. In the meantime, I'll spoil myself playing the PS3 version of Ketsui.
