I have a TG01 and I love it!
I have done alot with this device, installing HTC Touchflo 3D then moved on to HTC Sense 2.1.
Recently I have installed HTC Sense 2.5 2011. This version proved to be the most stable, better than Sense 2.5 2012.
However it frequently slows down alot, having bugs, and generally sluggish. It does not have all the cool features of HTC Sense 2.6 from HTC HD2. E.G - Album art rotations and Music Coverflow.
Can anyone please post a Cab File of HTC Sense 2.6, this will be brilliant for us TG01 users, taking full advantage of our 1GHZ snapdragon devices! And hopefully more stable.

it could be mostly possible with a customrom
cabbed htc stuff will never be as flawless as rom cooked versions ,
this is a law . thats why its cooked in most of the time , ull never get a bugless version with cabbing around . just wait for the rom cooking to get on its way and request a sense rom when its time comes . i kno i will

I voted for the v4.0 biggy, simply because it seemed the most stable, fast, and had nice battery life. Other have been more visually appealing but for actual stability and function 4.0 hasn't been beat. That being said I did enjoy 5.0UL, liked 6.1, and currently using the 6.5 biggy and am enjoying it. Looking forward to the next ROM you made.

+1, here's another vote. There are a couple things I'd like to see added to each of those, but the whole reason I chose them anyway was so I'd have room to install what I want.

Open Touch 4 Biggy and Lite seemed like the most stable versions of open touch i have ever used.
from testing your previous roms, 5.0UL was the most stable, best memory management, ease of use, packed with features on the today screen... and with the new build the 6.5UL should take over!!! ( for the roms you are cooking )
running 4.0. was using 5.3 but the sms issue was too much of a hassle, no fix was fixing the problem. jumped back to 5.0 but the version i had was missing parts of the interface i enjoyed. so i went back to 4.0 and it's been running like a dream. love it.
I LOVED the UL version of 5.0 concept, but i didn't like the small icons for sms,phone, etc. If there was some way to combine the UL version with the Throttle look, I think it would be great. Just an idea for you to run with ttran! Keep up the good work +4 Kudos!
I have used OT 3.0 lite and currently on OT 4.0 lite. I prefer lite version over others because it gives me the most flexibility yet with the foundation built.
Once I get less busy, OT 6.5 lite will be my next trial. Or maybe OT 8.0? Who knows... with the speed that Ttran pumps out new roms OT 8.0 may be very well expected in the next few weeks...

I've tried v6.5, v5.3 biggie,
but the one that worked perfect
out of the box was the 3.0 biggie.
that is the only one ive been abe to use.

I started off with 3.0, and I think it was most stable of all the other versions. I do really like 6.5 though. I just wish you made a biggy version of 6.5 without throttle launcher. It's too sluggish for me.

The ROM is super nice from the last one but I have two problems in counted with the new ROM
Biggy
1. Not able to change weather for another city or zip code
how can I do that
2. My phone kept calling it self at night starting at 4 am
I noticed it is dialing my own number
over and over
3. It dialed my other number on it own

The biggy will come without TL after the UL version has been released.
i loved open touch biggy v3.0 but i have to say i seriously loved the dialer from 6.1 spb lite diamond the dialer skin and the com manager skin i had problems getting any MMS's for some reason though. again how can i add the skins to the version i am using now 6.5 no TL no spb?

I really liked OT 5.0 diamond lite. The today screen was perfect. But the 6.5 build is super fast. I tried spb its just to intense for our weak little wings. TL has great potential but still to buggy for me. Id say the best thing would make a lite and a biggy with no shell and let people install their own.

ive tried all of them and v 3.0 biggy has my vote being the best right out of the box, no bugs at all, ive tried the TL's way to slow even over clocked to 286 then tied 6.5 no spb or TL very fast one issue with mail keeps sending messages, as soon as i find the fix i'll be running this one
I'm using 6.0 lite Diamond spb runs very good bluetooth could be a little better, but then that could be cuz of all the crap i installed to make MS voice command work better so i could have caller ID over bluetooth, would be nice if i didnt have to reinstall the spb then copy files over,
is 6.0 biggy fixed
May be a noobish question but ive searched and searched and couldnt find anything.
Is there a rom already made or one in development with the HTC Sense instead of manilla?

i think porting SENSE UI to VGA and non capacitive devices like the raphael would be VERY difficult.
the HD2 or Leo is a whole different animal. porting the HD2's Manila has been done. but porting HD2's SenseUI would be quite a project.

Sorry, I hadn't realised they're now referring to the new HD2 version of Manilla as HTC Sense. I assumed what was being requested was the Android HTC Sense UI on Windows Mobile. From what I can see, HTC Sense for Windows Mobile (on the HD2) looks (from the videos) to be Manilla 2.5. If I'm wrong in this, please ignore me
To get the Windows Mobile Version of HTC Sense UI is also known as Manilla 2.5. Currently, Manilla 2.5 is only fully functional on wvga phones.
But worry not. Manilla 2.5 is in development for vga devices, and is near perfect.

that is a link to a ROM with Manilla 2.5, same UI as the HTC HD2(HTC Leo)
If you want an authentic, Android Sense UI, you might want to do a search for Android on Diamond, should be the first result. Its not fully functional, so the Manilla 2.5 ROM is your best bet.
I loved using that Manilla 2.5, I had to move away from that ROM because the chef was using winmo 6.5 buld 23017, which I really did not like compared to the newer builds.
I know the best of 1.5 properly is Myhero 2.0.5,,
how about 1.6 Donut(I need chinese language)?

Try them out! There are not too many Donut ROMs out there. Try CyanogenMod for a start and see how it goes.
Personally, I'm addicted to HTC's smart dialer so I'm sticking to 1.5 until 2.1 comes out with Sense UI.

I think it is Manila 2.5 but it shows CallHistory and Calendar like Manila 2.1
Is it possible to port it in a actual CFW with Manila 2.5?
This could also be manila 2.1 .. The newest versions of manila 2.1 have the same slider icons as 2.5 and aslo weather on the hometab ... having seen the latest 2.5 version that have come out lately, I am almost sure the sense shown in the pictures is sense 2.1
Try CookyMonster's mod with new Sense 2.5. Then you can change some reg. settings to have Call history and so on with sense 2.5

I am 100% sure it won't get WM7 update, for one good reason it requires 1ghz and it has only 600mhz...

minimum cpu specs for WM7 is 800mhz not 1ghz
AGAIN! There will be NO upgrade of WM7 for the current devices. Maybe only for the HD2 but even that's still a rumor. Back to reality!

From what I've seen, they can keep it.
I have never cared for any WM UI and it looks like they made it worse than Titanium.
Problem is, you can't unselect it to run anything else.
It would be running in conjunction with any other interface which could be an issue for system resources.

You will first need HSPL to unlock your device then you have to find a 2.5 manila ROM to flash.
Flashing instructions are in the ROM threads
If so, what is it?
Im currently using kwbr topix 3.5.10 and its really slow.
Most menu selections take ages to appear.
Im looking for a speedier ROM, Id be happy downgrading to 6.1 if that would speed things up...
Any suggestions?

I'm very happy with mine at last. I downgraded to winmo 6.1 using the Kenia BlackNew III Rom. It's using Sense 2.5 and is still very fast and stable. It haven't been this fast since I bought it

Its really fast in comparison to my previous Topix 6.5 Sense 2.5
