Is there an application that can be placed as an icon in the Taskbar to turn the WiFi ON or OFF without opening up the Comm Manager program? I have one for BT, but I can't find the same application for WiFi.
I use a button remapping tool for this:
http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus_t.html
AE Button Plus is a small app that can rebind your hardware buttons. It has the ability to bind the actions: toggle wifi and toggle BT. I use it on my XDA Orbit - I've set it so that holding down the messaging button for a second toggles BT and holding down the IE button toggles wifi.
You could bind the red and green phone buttons for this, or even the volume slider. E.g. holding the volume slider up for 1 second to toggle BT.
But if you need the taskbar icon BatteryStatus might do the trick.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. YOUR SUGGESTION IS VERY HELPFUL...
Ok, I've searched all over, and all I can find for this is an actual program that turns it on and off.
What I want is a small, simple plugin for my today screen that will toggle Bluetooth on and off.
on my E61, there was a simple shortcut to turning on bluetooth by holding the "second function" button and the ctrl button.
Is there anything similar for my Vogue? I hate going into the communications manager every time I want to turn on bluetooth.

If someone is interested:
I had an issue with AEButton+ and the Device lock as the green/red buttons are not locked. As my green button turns by multiple clicking WiFi on/off and BT on/of my TouchPro kept turning WiFi/BT on/off in my pocket (if the power button was pressed so the screen is actually on but device locked) and for some reason - see below - the buttons aren't locked at all.
So here is the registry key to lock all the buttons:
Anyone who wants to act the keylock as the device lock:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\KeyLock]
"SameAsDeviceLock"=dword:00000001
Seems that it doesnt work that way either

How about turn off the vibration when touching the navigation button? Any help welcome! Thanks in advance!
