(REQ) Boomshine Flashgame to HD2? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello all,
Just wanted to know if anyone knows about the flash game BoomShine?
http://www.k2xl.com/games/boomshine/
I would love ot have this on my hd2, i think the screen size would really do this simple game justice. I knwo there is a version writtem for symbian, and iPhone out there, but i havent found anything for WM...
if anyone has an idea about where one can find this game for WM, specifically hd2, then send me a link!
or, if you can develop it, i would be forever greatful!
thanks guys!

+1 as well! would be great!

You can play accesing with your opera browser (I did).
If you don't have flash in your browser you can search in the forums. There is a cab to fix it, look for something like FixOperaBrowser.cab.

It doesnt work
not even a need to try it out realy..
But I also think this is a realy great game!
Its not a "that big deal" to program, maybe some developer here will read and create a clone?
Cheers

It works in IE. Don't know if the above flash fix is required or not, but I am literally playing it right now on my HD2, in landscape, full screen.
It does get very sluggish when there's a lot going on though.

Ill try out myself and see if it works without flash fix
Does the sound lagg?
// just tryed and it works well without any fix on touch x-treme rom
How did you get it to real fullscreen? I barely got it "almost fullscreen"
shouldn't it be possible to dowload the application and have it opened with ie? will try tomorrow
Thanks!

ok, i guess some of you might know this already, but this app allows you to download and play flash games on your phone!!!

Can you define "work"?
for me it seems that the jblend one works better. plus it is full screen so all the applications will look good.
jeodek did not work so good for me.

BAN THIS MOTHA F&#$(%
joedek (esmertec) is good. to bad that I cannot made the apps go thru http proxy (i've modified the config file.. but no effect).
unfortunally both of them are not as good. found this after playing with both of them. some apps work good on jblend which is better. but some don't work on it. so both of the managers would be good together. some apps installed on one, while some on the other.
now that i play with jeodek a little more, i think it actually mutes the sound on my phone, and i then need to restart my device. im about to try Jblend now.
EDIT:so far Jblend supports just as much, but takes longer to install..
EDIT:ok I tried a game that supposed to display 176x144 but it less than 100 pixels. its extremely small...and...hahaha that sound is WAY disorted. i think i like jeodek more.
any other midlet managers besides joedek and Jblend?
yes! this is what happened to me also. the sound on the phone was muted by jeodek after some time and i had to give it a restart, which is annoying as hell.

and are these the only working java emulators for smartphone? i thot there would be more.
does anyone know how to force full screen on jeodek? I would prefer blurry than little.
I couldn't try jblend because it doesn't let me choose a local file. Any solutions for that, apart from making your own webspace?
Thanks for your help.
Edit:
I now realize this is my first post, even if I browsed for a long time, hi all and thank you for your awesome help.

When you install it, it will just associate itself with JAR files - this means you'll only need to click JAR files in the file system for them to be auto-deployed.
tao intent registry
would someone be kind enough to post here the Tao Intent registry for WM5. I want to try to make it work on WM6.
Thanks
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Did you get it to work! I need the proxy throughput also. Need opera mini to get work over a proxy....
try this

all you need is to configure the http proxy properly in connections settings.
PS: set regional settings to english (united states or australia or anything english)

It's not for everyone's taste. It's kind of a love/hate thing with the cube. Some users are obsessed with it once they have it while others think it's a waste of resources. To each his own. . . But that's why we post this stuff so evryone can decide for themself.
Touch Flo cube is just a flash app?
Sorry for my ignorance, but Touch Flo cube is just a flash app?
If so, how can we configure it?
very nice idea, i doubt i will use it tho. looks good and is easy to set up...but its a bit naff

The HTC Touch Version uses dll's and other hardware/software stuff. IMHO the hardware isn't really key to the interface, just convenient on the actual TOUCH. I've run Wizards, the TMo Wing, an Apache and my Athena with TouchFlo ROMS and/or this flash app. Hardware handles it fine, just with a few small substitutions for not having the bottom area of the HTC Touch's screen available on these other devices.
This version of it is recreated as an Adobe Flash (tm) app. once you install FlashLite, the install the Szabi CubeLauncher you also get a CubeConfig in your programs folder. It is extremely intuitive once you install it and have a play with it. If you have further questions after getting that far, let me know I and I will try to assist you.

Thanks for testing and thanks for the reply.
can somebody explain the step to me?thanks
It works but I'd rather it be able to be launched right from "Today" straight away rather than having to launch the alternative flash "Today" first. Anyone able to do that? And I don't seem to be able to remap the "LaunchCube" to a hardware button
you can use THIS:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334965
to map your finger move to open the cube.
Hi lyka,
I've tried it already. But i only managed to remap it to open the flash app from which I have to swipe UP again.
Plus, from my experience from using the Ftouchflo, it kinda screws up the sensitivity of stylus taps -> tap and hold doesn't work in some apps anymore, tapping became tap+move... stuff like that.
It's a great development and I have my utmost respect for Efrost though! Bravo to him!
TouchFLO
Yes, I'm playing with this one as well
Cheers,
Leo
There's another flash cube being worked on with the whole touchflo shebang in mind.

Nop doesn't work. Universals don't have that registry
Check out SlideSound at http://tiermann.co.nr
There's also a thread on it at ppcgeeks. It works with QVGA and VGA now.
It's not dependant on the screen driver or anything, so any wm5/6 device that can rotate it's screen should trigger it.
wow that software works, it crashes sometimes but it works anyway. is there any program that executes a sound when the uni is turned on or when you open it ?
thanks man... just what i was looking for...

It crashes for you? Any error messages, like even a .net error or anything? So far it's only been tested on HTC Apache (6700) with .net Compact Framework 2.0 and 3.5, and I believe someone is running it successfully on the Mogul too. If you could post any errors I can see if I can take care of them.

it crashes sometimes, i dont have the error message infront of me now.. nothing major, it rarely crashes, not like all the time kind of thing so no worries..
Always puzzled me this. Why would you want everyone around you to know you've just opened or flipped your phone?
just for fun, not for people to see me,
or shall the answer is "I need toys"?
He He. Just like my Samsung, with it's musical box tones on the keypad too. Not the thing to forget when you're trying to send a quick text under the table at a boring business meeting though!

Have a read guys
Man thats some sweet stuff in there.
It would be great to have some of those made as tutorials (as one you did to install new rom).
But, thanks to you many people enjoy theyre phones so thank you.
Hmm, I just want to share the softwares I install on my smartphone, how could that be a tutorial?
How do you play Scrabble on a Tornado? I have the Handmark Scrabble application, but it doesn't work well on my phone because it looks like the game was designed for a landscape phone, but the Tornado has a portrait screen.
It seems like it, I realized it after I posted the guide. I have all the while installed it, but never executed the program
Nice stuff!Thank you very much!

And maybe any other program which you might think we newbies won't be able to figure easy ourselvs.
Thank you.

i-nigma barcode scanner:Q

Anybody got it working? I have the T-mobile USA HD2, and I tried installing the program in main memory and memory card(different times of course). When I start up the program, it gets to the main screen of the program and then crashes right out. Saying something about sending info to MS for the crash.
me too
I second this. happens on my HD2 on all roms so far.
Im using QuickMark and it does work
im using i-nigma and it works perfectly

It's a small program, and free, can you email it to me? [email protected] (exactly like that with the spam in it).
Maybe its my download from the website.
I tried it and it didn't not work for me until I updated it to the newest version. I use the program to download programs from Freewarepocketpc from time to time and they have a link to the newest version
I finally got mobiletag to work. Does it autofocus and lock in focus? ALl mine seems to do is go from focused to unfocused. BUT someone it'll read the barcode.
I'm using the elegancia rom and i-nigma works perfectly fine for me.
mobiletag is OK. just that it takes like 5-10 tries before I can get it to read a barcode.
I need to get one of the others (barcode scanners)to work.

Ive sent the email
Version 3.03.01 works fine on my HD2. In the About page it states that it is for the HD2
Thanks. Yup. The version that works is that one. Just dont have it do the update. As that fails once installed.
The camera works the same way mobiletag. Its out of focus, then goes in/out of focus and then somehow reads the barcode. I would figure it would autofocus to get the clearest photo, but I guess it reads the photo "live" and reads the barcode in teh split second it's in focus.
So far I think Mobiletag is the most interesting as it pulls multiple online locations to show prices. Doesn't seem to take any local stores (I'm in hawaii), so I dunno if the gps location works.
Drawback is it takes forever to get a tag read.
The i-nigma looks "cleaner" for the photo screen, still takes a few tries to get a barcode read(not as much as the Mobiletag) but then it asks you what you want to do. look it up on Amazon or something else, then it loads your browser to that page. So it seems more basic.
thing is, as it says on the website, you can go to i-nigma.mobi with your device to get the correct version automatically. worked fine for me every time.
It work well with me
T-mobile hd2
I confirm a silly bug: if you go to i-nigma.mobi you get a cab that installs a flawed version, which closes right after starting it... if instead you download it from thre "mirror download" at freewarepocketpc.net then you get a version that works on the HD2.
Very, very silly if you ask me

Good tip, I now have i-nigma running.
Problem now is it won't read a barcode on my HD2. If I manually enter a barcode it searched Google.com or Amazon.com, so how do you get it to search other countries, such as co.uk ?
Mine is working too ..... I downloaded at pocketfreeware ...... btw is there anywhere to decode the BlackBerry QR code ?????
