I am looking for a cab software that will. Let me set my phone down and if someone touches it or messes with it, it will set off an alarm or voice message. Any help would really be greatful. Thanks alot for anything that will help me out.

Hey everyone I am just wondering if there is a particular registry I can change to disable the cube, or at least the buttonless start of the cube.
You see I use my softkeys alot and it seems like 50% of the time i press one of them, that damn cube opens and its driving me crazy. I hate it, i wish it could go away.
Someone, anyone, please help me.

im looking for the files, or maybe even a .cab installer of the htc sliding sounds application. ive searched around on here for hours, and all i can find is the program by teirmann(sp).
That would be cool for the WM6.1 slider as well.
i just want to get the offical htc sliding sounds to test out stuff with. if anyone can get a dump of those from a rom or w/e, that would be great.

You can find a couple sliding sound cab's there. I created two one is a shotgun pump and the other is a golf theme i created for someone.
So head over there, make your request and if i can find the right wav's i'll create it for you. or go to the wiki page i created and see if u can follow it.
yep, problem is tho, i dont have a kaiser. ive got a hermes. i wanna just test out the HTC software from the kaiser for my own curiosity.
hmm dont know if there is a software for it, just some registry files.

ive tried the registry thing, im pretty sure it also involves a control panel applet as well... i guess thats what i want/need then.

you can rip it off one of the kaiser roms. should be "keyboard sliding sound.cpl"
i think u need to look for the trigger that tells the device to activate a sound once the screen orientation is changed.
awesome, any idea how i can rip the cpl file from one of the roms???? i have brief access to a Kaiser(friend at work), so if its something that i could get from the phone while its in operation??? or any tips on how i could rip it out of the rom?? btw, i know nothing about cooking rooms or anything.

Hey, if you're still looking for the Slide Sound cab file PM me and I'll send it to you. It is the Native HTC Slide Sound app that came on the Mogul but it works on the Touch Pro.
Hey, if anybody still needs the sliding keyboard sound on their HTC phone send me a PM. I have the Native HTC app and made a cab that has extra sounds with it.
Let me start by saying I searched the forums and google: "spell check," "spell check freezes," and others.
Only came up with one reference to a custom ROM...so here is the question.
When I'm in a text message and finished typing, I hit the spell check option and when it fizes the mis-spellings I hit send and...you guessed it...freezes the phone!
Is this a known issues (if so, like I said I search and will apologize ahead of time), but I'm curious to see if anyone else had any luck fixing...I like the feature but the feezes suck!

This happened since day one! I've hard reset with same results. Wondering if there is an issue similar to the xt9 issues where WM and HTC not playing nicely?

I am using an HTC Touch Diamond, but I connect to an exchange server to get my mail - which eforces the infuriating pofectic 'lock' facility of the phone..
I have tried all sorts to get rid of it, is there anyway I can replace it with anything else?
It's preventing me from using an application actually worth installing on my phone.

Yes it's working really well for me..
I get a notification each time the exchange server tries to implement the rules, which I could do without.. But it's a small price to pay really!
Hello everyone here is my problem with my htc
For the pass few days I have been having a lot of trouble with my device freezing up and not being able to do anything.....I have cookie home tab install on my phone it was working fine for days but know it not working at all. ounce I uninstall the cookie home tab and editor the phone works great.
I really want some of the features that cookie home tab has like the multi pages. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong or can someone suggest another install that will give me the multi pages option I have been searching these forums but there is so much here I don't know whats good or not good.....thank you for any help on this.
P.S. I also hear you can install Android on the HTC HD2 but then again has anyone have any success with that? I see a lot of tutorials but that does not really say it's good.
