For everyone who was weary to remove the bloatware on their 2.2 install throught ADB:
I have just received an email from Joel Bourquard, dev on TiB, and he's just sent me a test version of an updated TiB that works on our phones with the 2.2 update. I have it to give out to those who want it and told me to expect it in the market for download soon.
Edit: Totally just realized I got click happy and placed this in the Dev section. If a mod could move it to Apps and Themes that'd be great. Or if it stays here, I don't know
Edit2: Here is the link for the updated test version: link removed, available in market

Was there word on if the current donate code will work on the updated version? I will test this out as well if you want to pm it or send a link. Thanks.
Donate keys work for all versions of TiB, once you have one, there is no need to get another one. I edited my OP to contain the download link.
Thanks. I'm a donor. Just a little weirded out that he isn't sharing it himself and I downloading it through a third party.

I promise you that is the link from the email. I can post the transcript if you would like. Also, www.matrixrewriter.com is Joel's site if you would like to go visit for yourself.
Works Perfectly. Thanks!
Of course it does! Joel is probably one of the best devs in the Android community
I am digging the blue outline of apps that were frozen. I don't remember seeing that in the previous version. I am confirming I have this working as well. Thanks for posting!
Works like a charm. Thanks for sharing!
+1 It is back to working awesome!!! I will def be donating to this guy very soon. One of the best apps out there.
Oh no worries. Thanks for this, really.

super awesome! thanks so much for this
Don't thank me! I didn't write the app, I just sent him the required info from our phone. You guys should be thanking Joel by donating! He's a great guy and an even better dev, and definitely has one of the best apps in the market.

this is a .zip file... how do we install on froyo??
I uninstalled tb after backing up my apps and used side load wonder machine to install this version of tb. I did the enable non market apps adb code but for some reason that wouldn't take. That us why I did the machine.

Its not a zip file. Its an apk file. If it appears as a zip file after download change the file extension back to apk.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it then, you did it wrong. What size file is your settings.DB file? If its anything less then 34kb then you did the mod wrong.

+1 on this method. This will also enhance speed and Droid tethering not just install the market app.
thanks guys! i think this might work better than what i was trying, which was not working at all!
also, i would like to drop the notion ink keyboard into my /system/apps folder, but i do not have write permissions in that folder. can anyone give me a quick link on how to fix that??
johnzm,
Check out my PM to you.
Also, note the v1 file on the same post listed for you above. It does not have all the fixes in it, but it is more stock unless they have changed it, than the others.

I haven't seen this anywhere. So, is this possible on a NON-ROOTED phone? I'm asking because I found a nice sense 2.1 skin, but I want to change the color. I have the apk extracted, pngs edited, and am ready to compile it, but I haven't found a way that can be done from the phone itself. Please help me.
I don't think you can decompile or recompile an apk on the phone, I know using like root explorer or es some things are possible for rooted users, but I'm not so sure about nonrooted because I got my phone from the store and didn't touch it till I rooted it the next morning lol
Shifted to the extreme, cause I rawk Supreme
Thanks. It's just such a pain in the @$$ to hook up to a computer when I get a chance and use apktool. If I could do it all from my phone everything would be so much simpler. And +1 for the quick reply.
EDIT: Go to http://apkdecompile.com/ on your phone to decompile it. Anyone know of a website that compiles APK from the source?
Aide is a free app in Google play that will compile your apk for you

I just installed this ROM two days ago and it's fantastic. But I couldn't find Gtalk apps even in Market. Anyone could share its apk file? Greatly appreciate.
Thanks.
I don't know if this is the latest.

It's a free app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vokal.dscout&hl=en
I tried market enabled and APK leecher 1.3.5 and couldn't get either to work.
Thanks!
