i use this program for all my finacial needs and other things like tracking ebay and netflix account as well as credit card balances. i downloaded it through windows marketplace. it worked great on the original htc pur rom . but it ran once fine on energys mar 17 rom and now does not show anything else besides the main screen and the loading screen. i do not understand why it does not give me the accounts details. anyone else try this app?

well I have the same problem. I contacted pageonce assistant and the tech support guy told me to access the account from the computer. Some people just don't get the point

Hi all,
I am having trouble signing into Windows Live Messenger on my XDA Serra (HTC Touch Pro).
It only happens with my main Windows Live account - when I sign in with my old account Messenger works fine.
The message I get is:
There is a problem with the server. Please try again later.
I have contacted Microsoft and they have "escalated" the problem within their tech support department but ultimately they have not been any use. In the last e-mail I got from them they suggested contacting my carrier. I had already contacted o2 and they said they cannot help in this issue. I am pretty convinced it is a problem relating to my Windows Live account. Hard Reset of the device has not helped.
Please if anyone can help or has had similar experiences post here!

I'd never seen this problem until a few days ago. My connection and internet access are still rock-solid, but suddenly I haven't been able to sign into messenger. I re-flashed the custom ROM I've been using, but that didn't fix it. I suspect either AT&T is trying to force me to use their proprietary IM client (presumably so they can charge me for text messaging) or it is indeed something wrong with my Live account.

Help me too!! That makes three of us. Im using MSN over EDGE/GPRS and it won't sign in for me too. I keep getting requests of contacts that have added me..and when I click on allow, it says "There was a problem with the server". Sometimes, it just wont sign in at all, come what may.

Have you guys tried signing in over Wi-Fi? It doesnt matter what connection I use, I can never sign in.
Have you guys updated your MSN client PC side to the new 2009 version? Apparently (after I started having hassle with my Touch Diamond today) as soon as you sign in to MSN PC side on the new 2009 client with multi-sign in it renders your account buggered and in turn WinMo won't sign in no matter what you hard-reset or install.
Try an old account that has never signed in to 2009 version and your fine.

Yep this is the conclusion I have come to.
Sadly, Microsoft customer services really don't want to know. I have been in email discussion for over a month, and they are truly useless.
I guess we're at the development team's mercy, if they know or even care about this problem.
It can't be that difficult to sort out for them. Other third party apps (e.g. IM+) are logging in fine and you then get the usual "you have been signed out" message on the PC. So for now I'm going to use a chain of trial versions in the hope that MS sort this out in the next month seeing as 2009 went official this week.
And don't get me started on the new version of the PC client. What primary school children did they let loose on the design?!

I know this doesn't help but I'm also suffering the same problem and also fixed with a new Live ID not that it's the answer! Been playing with a lot of Live services so wasn't sure if Messenger was the cause...
I changed the messenger version and problem solved!

Well, still no news from Microsoft regarding this issue. It has been 11 days since I last received an email stating that resolving the problem was their "top-most priority" although they could not provide a timeframe for resolution.
I've emailed them again to ask if there is any news but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
It's pretty disgraceful how the functionality of our devices can be reduced in this way through a problem with the server. I hope it's fixed soon.

Microsoft really needs to get more people working on Windows Mobile products. Out of nowhere, all of their mobile products (Live Mail, Live Messenger, Live Contacts, Sideshow) failed to work since the beginning of January and there is no support what so ever.
So it's been about 4 months now since I was last able to use Windows Live Messenger on my Windows Mobile device.
This is so far beyond a joke that it's become funny and then lost all funnyness again.
I am tired of using Palringo, though I do appreciate their free service.
Has anybody managed to get any information about a possible fix? I've read elsewhere that Microsoft have suggested to some people that they just create a new Windows Live ID. This is quite franky a ridiculous suggestion, as I am sure many people are quite attached to their e-mail address. Personally it would be a huge inconvenience for me to have to change my address.
The problem seems to be with the live mail address book. I managed to get it working by exporting my contacts, deleting them, and importing them again. Has been working fine now for several weeks. More info here:

I have deleted all my contacts but I am still getting "Problem with the server".
Is there anything else I can do?
I thought I should wrap this up... a few months ago it just magically started working again.
While I'm happy it is working, I'm still left concerned that the functionality of my device is purely at the mercy of Microsoft, and I am utterly helpless to do anything about it or even find out what's happening.

I originally installed NDrive 10 on my HD2 about a month ago, doing it directly on the phone. I had it running from my SD card and all worked well for a while until I had to upgrade my ROM (NRG) - having done a Task 29 before the ROM change, I cannot see how to reinstall NDrive. Although I got an e-mail receipt for the purchase, this did not give a serial number and I don't have a record of seeing one when i ran the original installation on the phone. Added to this problen is the fact that the NDrive folder on my SD card does not have a 2577 folder and will not install afresh - the lack of any serial number presumably would stop me completing this anyway.
I e-mailed NDrive a week ago for advice but have yet to hear back from them (which seems a little unusual as other users seem to have got their queries dealt with much quicker). Does anyone have advice or experience covering this situation? Will NDrive give me the serial nmber so that I can activate a trial version? Or are the maps on my SD card already activated, so I simply need to get the application again?

Just sign into the Marketplace on your phone and it should be in your downloaded programs, ready to reinstall.
i do this everytime I flash.
If you didnt buy it from the marketplace, then you wil lneed to aquire the cab somehow.
the maps stay on your SD card.

Even more of a problem though is the fact that the NDrive website is down currently - no matter how i try to get there, I cannot get into it. Maybe that explains why they didn't reply to my message - following the recent iPhone problem, are they no longer operating?
Which leaves me trying to find a copy of a programme cab for which I have paid for (yes I do still have the maps).......

yes they never reply. its been 2months and about 10mails to them from every way i can but no reply as yet. i got a cab but not sure if its allowed to provide over here or not. on reinstall we can get the map activated but the problem will arise when we change our device. for that we need the serial number which they are not providing. LOOSERS.
i bought canada map from within the application so have the invoice in my mail but no serial number. dunno why they loot ppl like this.
Ok, so I just got my Dell streak on O2 - first thing I did was install 2.1 on it.
when trying to sign into my googlemail account, it kept saying I had no connection (even though I was on wifi, and the browser worked on both streak and my mbp). After trying and try I decided to use the O2 sim that came with the phone (i was using my previous one still on iphone tarrif) and turned off wifi - this allowed me to sign into the market.
I found a handful of apps I wanted to download, but when I go to the download page, they all just say "starting download", the bars are animated but nothing is happening. I have tried this with both wifi on and off.
Is this a 2.1 issue?
I love the phone/tablet (phablet?) but not having access to the marketplace sucks! I also can't sync my contacts!

Also have the same problem with downloading apps from the "Market", but mine are on the Motorola Milestone, already preloaded with 2.1 ()Eclair. Simply won't let me download any apps, which is a minor problem I 1st had with my old HTC Wildfire, but automatically overcome. Help is greatly needed, thanks.
This is a 2.1/2.2 bug in the Market, which Google has to fix.
Try leaving it on "Downloading..." for a bit, it might start. Else you can try cancel-install a few times, that should get it going.
I thought they fixed this for 2.1, but they obviously didn't :/

Would there be any other problems other than the OS that could prevent apps from being downloaded from the "Andorid Market"? Because I've tried the above steps and I'm gettin' nothing.

my desire was working fine.. but the acer was not, and i tried to play around with the my google account... Now i cant use MARKETPLACE on either one..!!!!

Have you looked at the logcat? Anything of interest in there? Maybe try posting this...

i and probably other seem to have this problem...
i flashed a new rom and everything else is working fine.. i synced my google contacts with my facebook contacts and they all have a nice picture in the contacts categorie as it should be.. also if i receive a sms or somebody calls me it shows the picture
but when i go into wahtsapp it shows only the green android symbol..
a few wich have a picture directly in my google account are shown, but not the majortiy with the fb pics
anybody an idea how i could manage for it to show the fb pics also
waht i find funny is, that a before i flashed to sense 3.5 it all worked like it is supossed to

Hey, it may be so that with flashing the new rom your facebook contacts(and their respective pictures) are suddenly not accessible by third party apps. You can try the Photo Unlocker app made by ChainsDD. The app is legit and just requires a rooted phone.

Anyway, I've tried all tricked in the book, change passwords, sign out of all sessions (via my inbox all the way at the bottom), stopped using 3rd party IM programs (e.g. iChat and Trillian)... still no luck. I only use Gchat in browsers or on my phone.
I've created a dummy account to see if I'm still signed in.. sure enough, I get the green globe (minus webcam abilities)... so that's how I can tell if I'm really signed on..
A search on google isn't helpful either. Most threads are dated or don't give any useful information.
Trying my luck on this forum. Anyone else have this issue and figured out what to do?

hello, looking setup, applications google talk stop, delete data and uninstall, then located in the web goo.im/gapps the latest package for your phone, unpacking talk.apk and put it in SD and install it. remember to backup before you do it if you could have problems either.
