COMA hardware Button

Hi everyone,
I have for a long time a problem with windows mobile 6 rom
my hardware coma button (next from spacebar and dot button) NEVER work.
already try use a lot of diferents layouts (416, 415, 417) but no one work.
there some way to fix it? or i can die waiting for?

Use to have the same problem, used Registry wizard changed the keyboard layout to UK.. restart then i works..

what about editing your sym.txt, or sym.0409.txt?

I solution this problem installing the original keyboard settings from Tim BR extended ROM.
I can send in the e-mail.
My english is very bad. Thanks - I am from Sorocaba/SP

How i change my rom for english or portuguese? HELP!!!

I have a HTC Kaiser in swedish language.
How i change the language for english ou portuguese?
Please, HELP!
Where I found a "step by step" for do this?
Where I download this rom?

Hi wsbrf,
For english you have a large selection of cooked Rom's available and even the base HTC Rom, so you only have to choose which one you want to install. Not sure if you have to first install the Hard SPL on your Kaiser, but this you will find out by reading each Rom's requirements.
For Portuguese, i guess you are not so lucky, i have seen a couple of requests but have not found a single Rom so far, but search the Kaiser Upgrading forum and you might get lucky.

I too had a swedish HTC Tytn II that I changed the ROM for. I did the HardSPL first and then flashed the ROM. Since the keyboard is mapped for Swedish, you may want to use the swedish cab file that remaps it. Even though you don't want the swedish keys, it will be all funky when you type, ie keys not matching what your keyboard looks like.

Hi, mate...
I'm trying to understand what you need.... well, your hardware is swedish, right? but you want your ROM in english or portuguese. The second one is not posible for now, so you can put english ROM and install a CAB to make the autocorrection on portuguese...
The CAB posted in the thread on my signature also changes your hard kb to portuguesse, so this will not work fine for your swedish hard kw, so le me know if i'm right and i'll try to adapt a CAB for you...

Ok, let me try to pack a CAB with the swedis map for your keyboard (this map allows you to use your swedis hard keyb with the symbols you see in your keyb), and the portuguesse autocorrection and dictionary...

Hoje (20/12/2007) deixei o Kaiser em uma loja que trabalha com Smartphones, PDA, etc... estou aguardando a resposta do técnico para saber se ele faz esse serviço. Caso não seja possível ele fazer, então espero contar com sua ajuda.

I noted you have been able to convert your HTC TyTn II to English. I am a Novice and have a Swiss German Mobile Device which is in German. I have NO ability to READ, Speak, OR UNDERSTAND this Language. I have executed the Hard Spl. that was given and works perfeckly, I have also Ulocked the Simlock as well. This Mobile was given to me as a Loyal client from Orange. So now to USE This Mobile device I NEED the English Rom to operate it properly. Would You be so Kind to assist me in this matter. This would be Greatly Appreciated.

you must isntall language packs(search in htc vox forum!)thenit works expect with rom from hikey because he uses plumpsip or s.th like this M)

But be patient, eT9.Vox.0407.kmap.txt is called not on every S710.
At me it was eT9.Vox.0408.kmap.txt ...but i can test it

hi every body,,
for all arabic people who are live in Europe or other countries having t3333 hct , now you can send messeges or read it , enoy arabic setting in in your pocket pc with the programs which are attached.
the first program will give you arabic keyboard but its not very nice so you need the second program below to give you the orginal very nice keyboard.
just download the all attachmen and read txt file before for instruction
its safe and work 100%

by mistake i installed arabic language but there is some problem occured after installed that file nd now my phone is not working..when i was restart the phone its come screen but not worked properly,,like hang..can any one solve this problem..waiting for reply...

One solution would be to do a hard reset (you will lose ALL data, SMS, programs etc.). Read here how: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6271710#post6271710

[Q] HTC keyboard qwerty to azerty ?

Hello all ! First thanks to the community and devs for your job
I installed the virtuous 1.4 rom with sense on my one S but the keyboard is only qwerty, I can't change but I have try to take HTC_IME.apk and IMEXT9French.apk from my stock HTC rom and put in .zip of the virtuous (in system/app) and flash like this but without succes, the keyboard doesn't works with this method.
I saw there are .odex files too on stock rom, like HTC_IME.odex and IMEXT9French.odex, so I have try to add these files too but fail too...
Anyone knows how can i have my french azerty keyboard again please ?
It's the only thing I think that's wrong in this rom (for me)
I know there are a lot of keyboards on market but i like htc keyboard

I think we should install an alternative keyboard until (désoler également mais nous somme obligé ^^).
